Perhaps you should pursue an avenue in soccer articles in Wikipedia where there are larger gaps, such as with women's teams (no articles documenting women's NPL) or with referees. I think it should be Qld, but I think it will be WA that misses out. Anyway, none of our NPL sides are anywhere near as good as the major ones in NPLV and NPLNSW {which are knocking on the door of promotion to A-League-II} and cant really compete at that level anyway. the article 2019 FFA Cup variously states 737 or 739 entrants, not the 740 you just posted to FFA Cup. and it think i saw something in one of the FFA websites on the FFA Cup stating 737. A quick Google search would quickly show you this info, and you could just add a reference instead of templating a contributing user and lowering their motivation. Regarding split tables for NPL

Hi JMan: I think that the three federations that are splitting NPL competitions mid-way through the season are each going to be treated differently. Whilst you are advocating for a split along the lines of 2018–19 Scottish Premiership - the K League 1 provides a good example too : 2019 K League 1 shows the split format, whereas the current 2020 K League 1 does not because the split has not yet occurred. This is the reason for the reverts today - the timing and not the format.

• Capital Football are adopting this structure after round 7.
• Northern NSW are doing a seeded draw after round 9, so that's a bit different - maybe the best format there is not one split table, but 2 additional tables like NPL2 last year divided into east and west conferences.
• WA also require a separate split table I think, as the second round stage the teams in the two groups have their points reset to 0. WA will have a single round robin of 5 matches to determine the Champion, there will be no Premier, and there will be a finals series at the end that crowns the finals series winner as the Finals Series Winner. Weird.

NNSW

BTW - The NNSW NPL may be okay in one table, akin to the madness of the MLS, where teams play the other conference once, while playing clubs in their division three times. However, I have now changed my mind and edited accordingly (at 2020 NNSWNPL). It infers extra information, in that you can see which 5 teams a particular team is definitely not playing. and also each week two teams will have a Bye. I also take my lead now from the reference provided by Football NNSW, who explicitly state that "Now, the league has been split into two pools of five." So the green shading gets updated each week if necessary depending on who the top 5 are. Same as the shading/comments edits that are done with wellington Phoenix in the A-League table when they're near the top of the table but cant be shaded for participation in ACL. True, but my issue lies more with the fact that points are carried over and that the teams aren’t split by position, but into two pools purely for the fact that this is a season with teams playing some others once or twice. The rhetoric now on the NNSW NPL website, and their links to the ladder, indicate that the teams aren’t considered split by position, and therefore is like what you are saying about similarity to AFL.
