Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:33, 14 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your recent changes to Benjamin Disraeli

edit

Hello. A word about WP:CITEVAR: you must not alter the established citation style of an article without securing consensus on the article's talk page. I see you are a new editor, and I realise your changes were made in good faith in ignorance of Wikipedia's policy. An additional tip: it is as well to think twice before editing the prose of a Featured Article: these articles have been through at least one, and usually two, rigorous reviews by experienced editors, and the probability is that their agreed version is preferable to one editor's ad hoc thoughts. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Martin Heidegger, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Phenomenology (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 18:33, 13 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello, I logged on and noticed a message statting that I have been banned indefinitely as a sockpuppet of the user "English Patriot Man". I'm not sure if I have edited a few articles which the banned user was notorious for editing, but I have edited many different types of articles. I'm not really sure what else I can add apart from that there is clearly a confusion because this is my first Wikipedia account. I enjoy using Wikipedia in my spare time so this has come as a bit of a shock for me because I'm a very quiet person who doesn't bother with anyone and try my best to improve articles on Wikipedia. I do hope someone can rectify this clear misunderstanding between my account and a banned user. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Unconvincing given the evidence below. Yamla (talk) 22:44, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
