editWelcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Tejraj S Dedavat, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. Sting_au Talk 13:52, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
Copyright
editPlease do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Virchand Gandhi. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. -- Whpq (talk) 16:14, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
Minor edits
editPlease remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Virchand Gandhi, as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one (and vice versa) is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Thank you. -- Whpq (talk) 16:40, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm thinking I may have to put this article up for deletion? I'm sorry but you keep removing maintenance tags when the actually work has not been done. The article is not referenced correctly. You need to use in text citations and set up a reflist. The maintenance tags are there to help you as they alert other editors to the fact that your article needs work. Wikipedia is not the place to put an article you don't want anyone else to work on. Other editors are going to come along and fix things up as they see necessary. Please do not remove the maintenance tags. Sting_au Talk 14:01, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Tejraj S Dedavat
editA tag has been placed on Tejraj S Dedavat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
