You have shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
Additionally, editors may not edit material related to the Arab-Israeli topic area until they have 500 edits and 30 days of tenure. Please acquaint yourself with our content policies in other areas prior to editing articles in one of our more controversial topics. Thanks, nableezy - 03:40, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
Thank you. I had not seen this message before. Jake pres (talk) 16:23, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
I see multiple violations of the discretionary sanctions mentioned above and the note about 500 edits and 30 days
editPlease stop or you will simply be banned from the topic area. Doug Weller talk 13:51, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
- User:Doug Weller; and today I see two more; to Al-Muzayri'a and El'ad. Jake pres: expect that the next vioation of the rules will bring you to WP:AE, Huldra (talk) 22:08, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement sanction
editThe following sanction now applies to you:
You are indefinitely banned from editing anything related to the Arab-Israeli conflict, broadly interpreted.
You have been sanctioned for continuing to ignore your restrictions as described above.
This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Index/Palestine-Israel articles#Final decision and, if applicable, the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.
You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. Doug Weller talk 13:42, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
I am blocking you until you show me I see an understanding of the DS alert above
editYou've been ignoring the fact that you are banned from the topic area. This may be because you haven't found this talk page yet. You cannot edit any page related to the conflict, and that includes talk pages. I also note that before you got the alert you changed sourced text at [1] where you also changed the title of the source, and at [2] where you would have seen a note when you edited it saying you needed 500 edits. You deleted the word "Palestine" from a quotation[3] after the alert, which was clearly vandalism. Doug Weller talk 16:41, 9 January 2022 (UTC)

Request reason:
Update: I had not realized that I had been warned about a new guideline that I must have at least 500 or so edits before editing on a specific topic. For some reason the warning did not come up until now, So it would be nice to be unlocked so I can continue to contribute to Wikipedia. I appreciate you having your time reading my request, thank you.Jake pres (talk) 4:29 pm, Today (UTC+0)
Accept reason:
Ok, if you are unsure if something is covered, just don't edit it. Doug Weller talk 17:26, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
