Please do not create duplicate articles

edit

Your article Kiss The Ground was already moved to the correct title. Yet you recreated the page at the incorrectly formatted title once more. Please check if a page has been moved to another title before recreating the same page again. CycloneYoris talk! 00:28, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I was left a note by an editor saying I should change the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Kiss_The_Ground page to be an overview page of the organization Kiss The Ground as a whole, then I created https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiss_The_Ground_(movie) to be specifically about the Kiss The Ground Movie. Kiss The ground is a non profit organization and the movie is a separate entity. Would this work to create a page for the org and then one for the emovie as well? Jamesborland43 (talk) 00:32, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
The organization would have to be created at Kiss The Ground (organization) and the movie would need to be moved to Kiss The Ground (film). Please note that "(film)" is the correct disambiguator for these types of articles, and not "(movie)". CycloneYoris talk! 00:36, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, thank you! Jamesborland43 (talk) 00:37, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Common Ground (2023 film) moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Common Ground (2023 film). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Umakant Bhalerao (talk) 11:46, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Jamesborland43, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Jamesborland43|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:48, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I am not being directly or indirectly compensated for any of the pages I have created. I'm a full-time college student with an interest in digital media and search optimization. I learned about the organization through the netflix movie, and wanted to share the organization and film as I like what they are doing for the planet. If I am not being compensated do I have to fill anything in? Jamesborland43 (talk) 15:37, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
If you have no relationship with the subject(s) you are editing about, then you do not need to disclose anything; just responding to this query was enough. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:41, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Great thank you for the help! Jamesborland43 (talk) 15:42, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thanks for your work on the Kiss the Ground and Common Ground articles so far! Just wanted to let you know that I added an entry for the 2023 film at Common Ground#Film. When that article is ready for exhibition, you can update the link there to point to that article directly (while delinking Kiss the Ground, as dictated by the Manual of Style). Or you can let me know and I'll do it. Thanks!   — TARDIS builder     ★       18:22, 31 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
