Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jack Sherman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page George Clinton. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Template:Dropkick Murphys

edit

Hi there. Just a note about adding entries to navigtional templates: Per WP:EXISTING, navigational templates should only list existing articles. They're not supposed to function as an artist's entire discography listing. Redirecting to subsections of articles, like a discography, where an album or song is listed in lieu of it not having an article isn't considered a valid link by this standard. Thanks. Hey Jason. I've reverted your edit on The Invisible Man article. We don't use IMDb as a source on wikipedia per WP:RS/IMDb. This Machine Still Kills Fascists moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, This Machine Still Kills Fascists, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~StyyxTalk? 16:51, 22 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sources for singles

edit

Hello. You've been adding single releases to Only the Strong Survive (Bruce Springsteen album) but haven't provided a source for them. Single releases, like all information, should be sourced. Singles being released from albums is not an uncontentious thing on Wikipedia, so please take the opportunity to find sources for them (preferably news sources and not links to Apple Music or Spotify). Thanks. Ss112 01:58, 11 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Don't use MSN links, credit actual outlet

edit

Hi Jason! Please be careful when adding references to articles. While using MSN to find content is fine, citing MSN when material isn't from MSN is severely misattributing the content. I came across this on The Rolling Stones with Special:Diff/1174313687 and ran across it being repeated on Springsteen and E Street Band 2023 Tour within 30 seconds of looking at your contribution history (was the 5th contribution I randomly checked). We should be citing the original source article (i.e. not the MSN regurgitation and then saying MSN was the original work/publisher), even if that means Googling the headline with the publication's name; it took maybe a couple of seconds to get the real CNN link for the Stones by just copying and pasting the headline and tacking on "CNN". In the Springsteen case, it took maybe 2 seconds? Here's the proper link. TheSandDoctor Talk 17:21, 24 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
