Copyrighted images on user pages
Several non-free images were recently removed from your user page. Please be advised that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Wikipedia policy does not allow templates, userboxes, or user pages to contain any copyrighted content not under a free license; so, for example, claims under "fair use" are explicitly rejected. This clause is to be interpreted strictly and without exception, for legal reasons. You can research Wikipedia's non-free content policy for more details.
I hope this does not discourage you from creating or altering user pages; your contributions to Wikipedia are greatly appreciated. For images and other media that are freely available for use in user pages and userboxes, check out Wikimedia Commons. Thank you. --Calton | Talk 14:27, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Editing conflict
I haven't seen any wrong with your user page except the fact that the last section was removed by User:Rm41194 but was added back. However, your revision (on the Billboard) has a position of 12 but Rm41194 removed it in his next revision. (see the disparity of this two, removal and putting back) While it is fine to edit someone's user page, be assure to edit it in a constructive way. The latter's editing was quite an implied vandalism because he/she did not put any reason in the edit summary. Remember that to not look like a vandalism, fill up summary.
Regarding to the Rihanna discography page, I haven't seen any earlier edits by that user. Instead, IPs kept on reverting edits. There might be conflict with other IPs but definitely this user haven't entered the world of angry mastodons. If you want to protect the page, request it to admins stating your reasons why protection is needed.
With the statement Great now no one can edit the page, I haven't seen any crime committed by this user. Actually, it was just a response (i think) to your discussion which states This page needs protection to stop the idiot that keeps messing with the Canadian peak positions! Please be consider also that Wikipedia do not allow uncivil treatment and personal attacks to other users despite the mess they have contributed, though its fine because it can be controlled later, to a particular page. Maybe this user, if a newbie, doesn't know about protection, please forgive.
If I have any uncleared issues, don't hesitate to drop a message on my talk page. (note:Don't leave it at the top of my talk page, at the bottom). --βritandβeyonce (talk•contribs) 07:52, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- Of course you can. But bear in mind that admins will only protect when it is reasonable. Thank you. --βritandβeyonce (talk•contribs) 08:30, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
RE: GTA San Andreas Character Images
Hey, JayJ47, got your message. I'm not sure I'm the best person to ask regarding inclusion of the images you are suggesting we use, but I will do my best to see that they meet with policy, and I will work on writing fair use rationales as time permits. Can't guarantee anything before the New Year though, I'm afraid. Peace. EganioTalk 22:08, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- Alright, JayJ47, you've basically found one of the many instances where the original version of the article on Wikipedia was directly copied and pasted into another webpage. The photos you found are the ones that were originally deleted from the List of characters in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas page. I am currently trying to work with the editor who originally uploaded the images (User:ZS) to clean up the fair use rationale for Frank Tenpenny. I thought I'd just start with one image to test the waters, since this editor seemed to have given up on these photos being included in the article. I'll keep you posted. Hi. When you uploaded this image, you said it was from answers.com. Please note that a lot of answers.com is taken from Wikipedia so there's a good chance that an image you find there is already here. That image, for instance, is at Image:GTASA CJ.jpg. --B (talk) 05:22, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Non-Free Content
Hello Jay. Sorry to tell you but per criteria number 8, non-free images are allowed to be uploaded if they have significance to the article. I have already experienced that; tale a look at this: my page. If you want to embellish your own page with images, try to find free images. By the way, what images do you want to add in you page? --BritandBeyonce (talk) 05:52, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oops! We can't. They are perpetually copyrighted. If you want, just use images of the artists on that album. --BritandBeyonce (talk) 06:01, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
My Article
It's fine. I'd love to help anyone who needs my service. I'll try to find sources. For some basic guides, try this: WikiProjectSongs. Goodluck! --BritandBeyonce (talk) 07:21, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- I tried to find more sources but it seems limited, and not useful. --BritandBeyonce (talk) 08:04, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Nomination
Hello. Thank you for the offer but I don't know if I do qualify; maybe you have to ask someone if I am qualified enough for the adminship. Its hard to self-assess. --BritandBeyonce (talk) 05:49, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, go ahead. If you really think I'm qualified enough, nominate me. --BritandBeyonce (talk) 06:53, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- Done. Just short messages. Again, thank you. --BritandBeyonce (talk) 08:03, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- They wanted me to explain more. So I expanded the first answer. --BritandBeyonce (talk) 02:25, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
My RfA
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Fergie discography, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. However, thanks for making a discography for Fergie. It's shocking that she never got her own discography here. — Cuyler91093 - Соитяівцтіоиѕ 03:57, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, no problem. I just categorized it 'cause I just learned there was a discography category, but that's not the problem. The article has the titles of songs that are unproperly capitalized. If you ever need help, I can you. Also, I will do some styling like bulleting for you. — Cuyler91093 - Соитяівцтіоиѕ 04:03, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- Likewise! — Cuyler91093 - Соитяівцтіоиѕ 04:06, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Fergie Big Girls Don't Cry.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Fergie Big Girls Don't Cry.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:18, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Fergie discography
Hi, I'm sorry to see it got deleted. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fergie discography for the discussion. I think it's ridiculous that Fergie's discography was deleted, and I think it's even more ridiculous that there was a community consensus on it! Fergie's a big enough performer to get her own discog on Wikipedia. Did anybody let you know that it was to be deleted? If not, I think I need to have a talk with the nominator. Please don't be discouraged though. I am not an admin, so there is only so much I can do. However, I will defend you as much as possible. Cheers! Cuyler91093 (Contribs) 07:42, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, here's my idea. Contact an admin, i.e. User:Rodhullandemu, User:Jayron32, etc. and ask them to get the info from the page and put it in your userspace. Then, merge that into Fergie (singer). Then, if Fergie releases more albums, then you may paste that into Fergie discography. The reason why it was deleted was because Fergie has not released more than one album yet. Regarding the lack of a warning, I will talk with the AfD nominator. Cheers! Cuyler91093 (Contribs) 07:45, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- You're very welcome! Cuyler91093 (Contribs) 19:02, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- No, it's not a problem. I will try and negotiate with that user. I'll be back! Cuyler91093 (Contribs) 04:19, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- You're very welcome! Cuyler91093 (Contribs) 19:02, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
It was deleted due to a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fergie discography, and since the article was recreated, I deleted it under the speedy deletion criteria regarding the recreation of deleted material. I hope that helps. Acalamari 17:06, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
You Will Only Break My Heart
The artwork was released earlier today, so I shall be uploading that. Sadly the only picture is 130x130 dimensions, but I suppose it will have to do. --TheRevolution7 (talk) 05:45, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

GA review
Thanks for passing "Lose My Breath". --Efe (talk) 08:24, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- By the way, this is me, BritandBeyonce. --Efe (talk) 08:25, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hello Jay. Thank you very much for reviewing two of my nominees so far. However, I was just concerned you did not give an overview for "Burn" as to why the article passes as GA. In the process, it states you either use the three of these: Template:PGAN, Template:GAList, Template:GAList2. Thank you. --Efe (talk) 07:46, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- OK. Thanks again. You're now a member of GA reviewers. Grats. --Efe (talk) 07:58, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- Whooh! Thanks. My eleventh GA, to date. --Efe (talk) 12:23, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
