Disputed non-free use rationale for File:PCD-Beep.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:PCD-Beep.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 11:38, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

GA Sweeps invitation
Hello, I hope you are doing well. I am sending you this message since you are a member of the GA WikiProject. I would like to invite you to consider helping with the GA sweeps process. Sweeps helps to ensure that the oldest GAs still meet the criteria, and improve the quality of GAs overall. Unfortunately, last month only two articles were reviewed. This is definitely a low point after our peak at the beginning of the process when 163 articles were reviewed in September 2007. After nearly two years, the running total has just passed the 50% mark. In order to expediate the reviewing, several changes have been made to the process. A new worklist has been created, detailing which articles are left to review. All exempt and previously reviewed articles have already been removed from the list. Instead of reviewing by topic, you can consider picking and choosing whichever articles interest you.
We are always looking for new members to assist with the remaining articles, so if you are interested or know of anybody that can assist, please visit the GA sweeps page. In addition, for every member that reviews 100 articles or has a significant impact on the process, s/he will get an award when they reach that threshold. If only 14 editors achieve this feat starting now, we would be done with Sweeps! Of course, having more people reviewing less articles would be better for all involved, so please consider asking others to help out. Feel free to stop by and only review a few articles, something's better than nothing! Take a look at the list, and see what articles interest you. Let's work to complete Sweeps so that efforts can be fully focused on the backlog at GAN. If you have any questions about the process, reviewing, or need help with a particular article, please contact me or OhanaUnited and we'll be happy to help. --Happy editing! Proposed deletion of Robert Lenzi
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Robert Lenzi, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- minor actor, fails WP:ENTERTAINER
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Please update your status with WP:VG
Dear WikiProject Video games member,
You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in recent months.
The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.
All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:
- Editing video game-related pages in the Article namespace
- Participating in video game-related discussions in the Project namespace (WT:VG, WP:AfD, WP:GAN, etc.)
Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.
Orphaned non-free image File:GTA SA-GROUP3.png
Thanks for uploading File:GTA SA-GROUP3.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 07:34, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Serbian tennis article
I do not intend to make my page official (this has already been covered in part on the real 2008 Australian Open page), and I was inspired by your page User:JayJ47/The Trivalry which contained a lot of useful and true information, so that's why I created it in the first place. Yes, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic have a three-way rivalry between them but it's never possible that these three players could ever play each other in an offically sanctioned tennis match. That page by the way is a great idea to illustrate the great rivalry and reign that they have over men's tennis at the moment.
I am also currently working on an "unofficial" page called User:MasterMind5991/The WTA Spice Girls, a name I have come up with to describe some of the WTA's top tennis players. The nicknames I have given to the nicknames will be interesting! But of course, I will continue to work on these "imaginary" pages and not make them official.

Major/Important finals, or actually nothing
The long standing term at Novak Djokovic career statistics was simply a "Finals" heading until someone slipped in "Major Finals" somewhere recently. I see you changed it back today but that is a poor choice because the term Major in tennis is only for one of the four Majors, else confusion reigns. I had added "Important" but after your change, I went back to the long standing version of simply "Finals." After thinking about it I changed it further still to eliminate the term completely and give each their own heading. If you can think of something better I'm all ears... but "Major" can't be a heading for year-end championships or olympics or masters 1000's. Fyunck(click) (talk) 08:06, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
- "Significant finals" actually sounds better to me than my own "Important finals." But what about my last change? Do we really need that heading? It seems like we could dispense with it entirely. What do you think? Fyunck(click) (talk) 08:16, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
- Go for it then...we can always post it at the tennis project and get some other views, but it seems a minor issue. As long as we don't confuse with Major I'm good with it, and unless some consensus changes I'll try to correct other pages as "significant" whenever I come across the same situation. I have no idea how that was missed. Good addition. If anything it's the place name that is more irrelevant than the tournament name. Fyunck(click) (talk) 06:46, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

Producers
On songs, there are two types producers: producers of the music and producers of the vocals. Up until about 5 years ago, music producers were the most prominent of these types. However, with the changing nature of the industry people often call on music producers to produce songs which are then sent to other studios around the world to wherever the recording artist is based. There the recording artist with a vocal producer and recording engineer will record their vocals. If someone is thus credited as a vocal producer, this is equal weight to someone else who is being credited as a record producer. Please do not go around removing vocal producers from infoboxes. — Lil_℧niquℇ №1 [talk] 12:59, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
Reverted edits
Hi, I see that you reverted my edits at Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal career statistics pages. I read the guideline and, with a tip from wikipedia project, i made the changes. They are totally wright. So could you adapt it as i had done?

Speedy deletion nomination of Classic (song)
Hello JayJ47,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Classic (song) for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. TRL (talk) 03:48, 20 July 2013 (UTC)
Federer stats
I agree that Federers stats page should be back to normal until the project determines what is best, but in case you missed it we are in discussion at the Tennis project talk page about tweaking some of the tables. Your input would be appreciated. Fyunck(click) (talk) 04:03, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
