Hi AntonioMartin! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Rail transport in Puerto Rico that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Date of birth in Karen Austin
I read your edit summary, "it says there (with a source) that she married at age 19 in 1975.....so math tells me she was born c. 1956.." and I understand your point. I need some help, however, in determining which source gives 1975 as the year she got married. I see it in the infobox (unsourced), but the "Personal life" section doesn't give a year of marriage. I read all three sources but did not see the year of marriage. Apparently, I overlooked it somewhere. In which source did you see it? Eddie Blick (talk) 23:28, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Eddie! I will admit I hadn't read the source, which is, honestly..well, my bad! Anyways but one interesting thing I found on source one was that she says in the article she is 28 when it was published, and the article was dated December 22, 1978! So that would put her birth at...1950? I guess we'll have to go with that! Thanks and God bless you! Antonio the Bad-Rican Martin (si?) 01:47, 1 July, 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback. I didn't see that age at the time of publication, so you did better than I did. I appreciate your checking on it and getting back to me. Eddie Blick (talk) 02:03, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Rafael Dones
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rafael Dones requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of Luz Nereida Vélez
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Luz Nereida Vélez, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
This subject fails WP:NPOL and arguably WP:BLP1E applies here. You have only provided sources about his alleged wrongdoing but almost nothing about who he is, so this is less a biography and more of an attack page.

Chris Troutman (talk) 15:05, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
@Chris troutman: Hi Chris! Just saw your message here. Thanks for writing me about the issues. About the article, I will have to say the subject does pass WP:NPOL because he was the secretary of the nation's President-a position that is a national office, at least in Peru (I believe, anyways), and, at least now as a fugitive (I dont know about before as I dont live in Peru and dont follow that country's news closely, the only reason I know of him is because I read about him on a news ticker while changing channels on TV and his story caught my eye) he is receiving major headlines from places like Infobae and Peru's leading newspaper, El Comercio. The second issue, about mentioning only the controversies, I definitely see what you mean, but....well, believe it or not, I tried and tried and tried to find everything I could but the only info I could find was the "bad" stuff! I guess there are just cases that are....like that? If there is more information out there, of course, we can add it. Again, thanks and God bless you! Sincerely yours, Antonio Inka Cola Man Martin 16:17, 17 July, 2022 (UTC)
Adrián García (actor) moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Adrián García (actor), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~StyyxTalk? 22:58, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
The article Jorge Rivera Nieves has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Fram (talk) 08:18, 22 July 2022 (UTC)

The article Lottso! has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
old page hasn't been update since 2013 and not known to a lot of people
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:01, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
Michelle Watt
There is a difference between "supposed knowledge" and "knowledge that is supposed". The former is questioning whether it is known. Did the Watt family know this, or are we questioning the source that says they did ? The latter is questioning whether it is correct knowledge. Was the Watt family's knowledge accurate, or were they just supposing it was?
Since Jim Watt specifically says they knew this, this is not up for question. Whether what they knew is accurate is something that the source does not discuss, so we don't know and shouldn't be including it in the article. Wikipedia has no grounds for questioning either the source or Watt.
Please revert your change. Thanks. Escape Orbit (Talk) 09:20, 20 October 2022 (UTC)

Using magic words like templates
Hey! I've been clearing Category:Pages which use a template in place of a magic word for a while, and I've consistently seen your name come up, so I thought I'd leave you a notice. Magic Words, such as {{DEFAULTSORT}}
, are not like templates. One of the differences in this is that magic words are supposed to use a colon (:
) as opposed to a pipe (|
) (E.g. {{MAGICWORD:ABC|XYZ}}
instead of {{MAGICWORD|ABC|XYZ}}
). On this wiki, fallback template alternatives exist for some magic words, like Template:DEFAULTSORT, in cases where it is misused often, but this doesn't apply to all magic words, so try to remember to use a colon. Thanks. Aidan9382 (talk) 11:43, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
