Copy-and-paste move
editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Legacy (male fertility service) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into User:Jebandgus/sandbox. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Did I properly execute the move of my draft article? Any other suggestions? I have a long history as a writer and have digital skills, but I'm still learning the language and procedures of Wikipedia. Thanks for any help. Jebandgus (talk) 19:55, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- You copy/pasted content from Draft:Legacy (men's fertility service) to your sandbox. This isn't a huge issue, but it's not the most ideal way to move a page. I do note that you did successfully rename the page from Draft:Legacy (male fertility service), so you seem to have gotten the hang of page moves. If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. How to find out if article is accepted or rejected
editI submitted an article on Aug. 31st and I still can't tell if it's been approved or not. I went to the AfC list of articles that are 8 weeks old, and I didn't see it on the list. Though I did see another article I created on the 6-week old list.
It makes me wonder if I submitted the Aug. 31st story correctly, even though I did get a message upon submission that it was up for review.
Any suggestions of where to go to find out where the Aug. 31st article is? Thank you.

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Khaled Kteily
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Khaled Kteily, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
