Reverting vandalism is not a 3R violation

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. Falun Gong

He had initiated a discussion. He is quite blatantly not a malicious vandal. The point is, there is never any reason to keep reverting and reverting and reverting. Report them to WP:AN/3RR, wait for them to be blocked, and let someone else revert it. That is the only way consensus, and not willpower, can determine how an article stays. Because I thought you were reverting in good faith, I kept the block period short, and out of fairness I had to give Luo the same period.

Log back in as User:Jeff Fenstermacher, because I'm blocking your IP to prevent you using it for further evasion. You can still edit User talk:Jeff Fenstermacher while logged in under that account. Look at the history of the article. The first time he blanked the entire section without any explanation. As defined on the Wikipedia vandalism page, blanking a section in that manner without explanation is vandalism. Only after he was caught blanking, he tried to find a rationale. You seem to be screening this through some kind of ex post facto personal filtration while simultaneously ignoring the Wikipedia rules. I was only following the rules. In all candor, I think perhaps your "admin status" has gone to your head a bit, with your nannyish comments about "cooling down." I reverted vandalism, simply put. Nothing more. I followed the rules. You didn't. I think you owe me an apology.

Additionally, I was trying to alert an administrator to the situation; however, because you were in such a hurry to summarily block me without any kind of warning or dialog, you made that impossible and compounded the problem. Jeff Fenstermacher 01:01, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Consensus edit on April 2006 Hu visit protests

During the April 20, 2006, welcoming ceremonies outside the White House for Chinese president Hu Jintao, which opened his official visit to the capitol, a Falun Gong supporter repeatedly interrupted the event by shouting in English and Chinese. Because she was stationed atop a grandstand and blocked on all sides by camera equipment and ladders, it took at least two minutes for Secret Service agents to drag her away. Reuters later identified the woman as Wang Wenyi, a reporter for The Epoch Times, a Chinese and English newspaper run by the Falun Gong.[1]

"President Bush, stop him from persecuting the Falun Gong!" she shouted at one point, followed by "Hu, your days are numbered", in Chinese. She was also heard yelling "Stop the torture and killings!" and "Falun Dafa is good". During her protests, she unfurled and waved a yellow and red Falun Gong banner.[2]

On April 21, Wang was charged with a federal misdemeanor of harassing a foreign official, punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of $5,000. She was released without bail pending further proceedings.[3]

Also during Hu's visit in Washington, D.C., hundreds of banner-waving protesters loudly demonstrated against Hu's visit outside the White House gates. The clamor was heard faintly during an elaborate lunch Bush gave in Hu's honor.[4]

On April 19, Falun Gong supporters protested Hu's visit to Washington state, using sound trucks to blare messages into his hotel accusing Chinese internal security forces of torture, organ harvesting, and other atrocities. Protesters also appeared near Microsoft's headquarters earlier in the day, which was hosting Hu during his visit.[5]

I understand that you're upset with Mr. Blanning, but please do not make personal attacks (which include accusing him of not working in good faith ("being deliberately deceptive") and of being a bad adminstrator).

Please resolve disputes through the appropriate channels (which I see you've started to do by asking for an advocate) rather than taking out your frustration on another editor.

I'm sorry, but I disagree with your assertion that I was being uncivil and that I was engaging in personal attacks. I stated facts as I saw them. I made no ad hominem comments. I feel I was treated shabbily for following the rules by someone who wasn't following the rules. Further, I find it very troubling that you have threatened to block me simply for disagreeing with what I see as poor treatment. While Wikipedia may not be a democracy, it's not a fascistic autocracy, either. Administrators make mistakes all the time, and presuming their infallibility, while always presuming the non-administrator is in the wrong, is destructive to the Wikipedia community.Jeff Fenstermacher 23:09, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

As well, you don't seem to understand simple Wiki policies by time-stamping your contributions.
