Disambiguation link notification for January 6
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of villages in Madhubani district, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rudrapur (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hey, I work with WP:WCW and have been seeing a lot of your articles showing up. I notice two big things, first, per MOS:GOODHEAD having headers in the proper levels is an accessibility issue, not just markup. Second, per MOS:HEAD headings should not contain links. For that I have fixed a few of your articles to using the {{Main}} template. Just pop it below the header itself like I have in this message. If you have any questions, feel free to ask on my page or reply here and use {{Mytalk}} on my page so I know to check.
Thank you though, for all the hard work you've been doing. Jerod Lycett (talk) 05:01, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
- I just wished to thank you for all improvements that you have made on my Canadian Honours List pages. I will work on future ones that I will write to follow the standard required. Ctjj.stevenson (talk) 12:04, 8 January 2020 (UTC)

Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity/Methodism work group subpages
editHi I see that you've tagged several subpages of Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity/Methodism work group for speedy deletion, but you didn't specify a criterion that would actually justify deleting them; I can't see one. They've been languishing for several days now, and it seems increasingly unlikely that speedy will fly; what if you change the tags to WP:PROD? I think that might bring about the result you want (I'm assuming there's some sort of agreement on getting rid of these?). Regards, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 21:32, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Justlettersandnumbers: Is G6 not the appropriate criterion for a subpage that's no longer doing anything? Most of them were category lists, which is replaced on the page with {{Project categories}} instead of transcluding the subpage. Articles, Categories, and Category. I thought it was for maintenance such as removing a task force/project's unused subpages. My reading of WP:G6 wasn't that the list of examples was exhaustive, and other such things could exist. I can PROD them if needed instead, but thought speedy would be faster. Jerod Lycett (talk) 21:50, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, G6 could apply if they're no longer needed because something else has replaced them. If that's the case for all five (please confirm!), I'll go ahead and drop them in the round file. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 22:01, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Justlettersandnumbers: Yes, that and one which had the speedy removed for some reason Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity/Methodism work group/Tasks were all replaced. I guess I will PROD Tasks to get that one done. Jerod Lycett (talk) 22:04, 9 January 2020 (UTC)

editDear Jerod Lycett, these were edits based on good faith not vandalism. Please add families to this list and not the whole tribes under it as the title of the page reads as list of political families of Pakistan As far as my talk page is concerned prevention of fraud or asking for references on some pages led to all this. I hope you would appreciate that. Regards Azmarai76 (talk) 10:37, 15 January 2020 (UTC) Azmarai76 (talk) 11:00, 15 January 2020 (UTC)
Mack Trucks vs. " = "
editWe are sort of playing tag here, here, here, and before. I wrote them to make "Engines" to "Axles" sub-chapters of "Design". I don't really care if they are, your opinion is fine, I just think the three (and others coming) should look the same. Thank you. Sammy D III (talk) 12:24, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Sammy D III: Sorry if I screwed something up there, but it was hard to figure out what was intended on that one, and it was the first one I hit. I think you're either writing too fast or not proof-reading well enough that they keep ending up on the lists of pages with errors. Can you double-check from now on before publishing? Jerod Lycett (talk) 20:35, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for the first sentence. Having the intro blurb inside the section but before the sub-section looks strange. That being said... Why did you give me that condescending crap? You made the mistakes, I was minding my own business. It's not my place to pro-actively prevent you from making mistakes, it's your place to not make them. If you didn't understand it why did you change it? "double-check from now on before publishing?" That's not pompous at all, is it? You should have stopped after the first sentence. Sammy D III (talk) 01:08, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Sammy D III: Using a header with only one = is an accessibility issue. Don't do it. That is the error you're introducing. Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility#Headings Jerod Lycett (talk) 02:20, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
- Gotcha. Brain glitch. I'll get on it, thanks. Sammy D III (talk) 02:33, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
