Hatnotes
editI reverted some of your edits, and I want to tell you directly why I did it so we can discuss it if you disagree. You added "See also…" as a Hatnote on several articles that lists Acts of Congress. I think that hatnotes are useful if readers need an explanation as to why they're on that article or perhaps to direct them to the correct article they were looking for. However, if you want readers to go to the "next" or "previous" article in a series, it's best not to clutter up the hatntoes and just leave it in a "See also" section lower in the page. What do you think? (No problem. I was simply reusing the hatnote that was on one of the pages because I thought it was a good idea. Being in the "See also" section is fine. I'd like to keep going using http://legisworks.org/sal/saldir.html - the text of the TOCs are available back to 1891 (59th Congress). Having consistency would be good. editHey, nice work on all the acts of Congress pages! Question: do you generate these by hand, or does some sort of bot or script help you out? I ask because I'm engaged in doing one for the 104th Congress, and it is quite laborious... Neutralitytalk 19:40, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks much. Yes, I'm using a Perl script that generates the starter text for each Congress. Seeing the errors and corrections you and others have made has been enlightening and I need to find and correct the problems for the pre-105th Congresses. Updating the low volume vehicle manufacturing act

L. 114–94 (text) (PDF). Unfortunately, the legislation didn't include "may be cited as the Low Volume Vehicles Manufacturers Act of 2015" in the final act and therefore is not included as a separately named citable law at the List of acts of the 114th United States Congress.
