merge not delete
editPlease don't just come in and delete a whole bunch of content and replace it with your stuff. Merge your ideas, please. JamieJones talk 12:40, 25 January 2006 (UTC) (on Rescue breathing)
- Erm... that's what I did. Can we continue this on the discussion page for the relevant article? --John24601 12:47, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
Medical Careers
editHi there - I created the box myself, ( {{NHS medical career grades}} ) as part of the general overhaul of NHS stuff I am trying to initiate through Wikipedia:WikiProject National Health Service. It is not ideal, but there is some need of explaining the structure somehow. I would be glad for proposals for revision, and indeed any help/contributions to the Project - do take a look and improve that as well - and participate in any way you can, if you would like. Many thanks --Smerus 06:46, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
First Aid Page
editHey John24601. JamieJones here. I want to help with the first aid project. Great idea. Unfortunately, my school, my main source for editing (having no home access) has been blocked. So can you keep me posted, like keep pestering me once a month if i go absent, probably because i can't make changes...if i'm really desperate, i could put stuff for you on my user page? Can you add that to your watchlist? Thanks! JamieJones talk 00:05, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- What's the deal with your list? Are others editing? How can we keep track? JamieJones talk 22:19, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- I don't get it John - I haven't been here for a week...is anyone still in for this project? JamieJones talk 23:52, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Nursing & RCN
editI see you've done lots of work on Nursing (United Kingdom), would you fancy taking a look at the Royal College of Nursing, as I'm getting bogged down with it. — Rod talk 18:56, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
first aid wikiproject
editlets make it official. St.isaac 22:06, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- Have been thinking about this myself the last couple of weeks - do you know how to go about it? I haven't done one before! --John24601 22:23, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- No, but WP:PJ has help on it. The easier part it probably just moving that page to the right place. P.S. It's better to respond on my talk page so I get notified of your responce... -- St.isaac 07:40, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, I just did a lot of organization work. It's now full fledged wikiproject. :) -- St.isaac 19:50, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Greetings
editI guess you're wondering who I am and all that. I'm currently training to be a nurse in Australia, but I'm here for a different reason, really.
Currently, English NursingWiki has around 90 articles, in comparison to the German NursingWiki, which has well over 2000 articles. I was wondering if a group of technically minded nurses would mind commiting some information to it and helping it grow.
It's a little bit different from Wikipedia, in that it's designed for content that Wikipedia cannot have, such as steps for drawing up a nursing plan and the like, but I'm finding it a valuable resource already in my education, and I think it could become a very valuable resource very quickly if it had a group of nurses comitting their knowledge.
Tell your friends, and be bold!

editUser:24.215.198.87 is at it again. I'm trying to keep an eye on Special:Contributions/24.215.198.87, but probably WP:3RR will come into play if I try to do this alone. So feel free to help out. — JVinocur (talk • contribs) 02:42, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- *sigh* I'm on it. --John24601 07:21, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
Nursing Portal & wikiproject
editHi, You may or may not be aware that User:THB has crated a Nursing Portal and Nursing Wikiproject aiming to improve Wikipedia's coverage of Nursing. It would be great if all Wikipedian nurses got involved. — Rod talk 19:18, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Re: Deal or No Deal
editHi John - whereas I don't think the Deal or No Deal (UK game show) article resembles a fan site in any way (many articles on topics such as this one are similar to this one and do not resemble fan sites), I do think that the article needs citations and footnotes. Websites such as Screw The Banker and Bother's Bar, which collect information and game details from the game, would be perfect places from which to use citations and footnotes.
I also think the External Links section is too big. Far too many sites in there are actually fan sites. I don't think anything should be split from the article, though. Evil Wikipedia administrators get to any articles split off of this one and viciously rip them apart and delete them. Cipher (Yell) 19:10, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
