Speedy deletion of Lorrha-Dorrha GAA

edit

A tag has been placed on Lorrha-Dorrha GAA requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Bayer 04 "away" colors shown incorrectly

edit

I noticed you changed the Bayer 04 "away" colors from the 2006-7 colors which had been shown until recently. However, I don't think the colors as shown now are correct. White with red accents is not really current. The shirt colors you show would indicate a color scheme similar to the 1988 UEFA Cup season, but the new ones are very different from that indeed.

The current away colors for Leverkusen are white with wide gold "fading" stripes for the jersey (fade from top to bottom) with red adidas shoulder stripes, and white with gold accents (incl. red adidas stripes) for the shorts, and white with gold socks. (These can be viewed in various places, including www.bayer04.de.) Your version gives a wrong impression about the shirt (no gold!), doesn't show the striping on the shorts, and doesn't show the 2nd color on the socks.

Their 3rd colors are black with yellow (as worn recently in the UEFA Cup and in Cottbus) in a pattern similar to the one shown for the 2006 blue-with-white away colors.

Unfortunately, I haven't the faintest idea how the little uniform thingies are put into the infobox, so I can't correct this myself. Maybe you can help fix this, since you seem to know? Jtnet (talk) 09:28, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Tricia Wright, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.triciawright.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=49&Itemid=53. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 21:51, 24 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
