Tiele People
editSince you wrote the article on the Tiele people, thought you might be interested in this:

- I wouldn't say I wrote it. I merely disentangled a very messy Dingling article. If it was to me I'd do some further heavy editing, but it's better to act with some restraint. Thanks for the link!--Joostik (talk) 21:22, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Hello Joostik, I happen to see that you are participating in some pages that I initiated, it is a very welcome contribution, and it is a pleasure to see that you know the mechanichs how things are organised and standardized. I appreciate the time and effort. If you have any questions about any facts relevant to the pages that I participated, please ring on my talk page. Shatuo Turks - Shato merger
editHello, Joostik, please look at my note [[2]], and let me know if you want me to paste it in your discussion. Regards, Barefact (talk) 23:35, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- BTW, I am not sure that Shato do believe that they are Turks, and probably not even the Türks. To call them Turks is like calling the Danes Germans. Danes are Germanic, for sure, but to call them "Dane Germans" would be absolutely assaulting. If there is a need for a modifier, for disambiguation purposes, maybe "people" or the like is more suitable.Barefact (talk) 23:45, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited George E. Studdy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gaumont (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on National Bohdan Khmelnytsky University of Cherkasy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Survey Invite
editI'm working on a study of political motivations and how they affect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.
I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.
Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 18:16, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

Erfprins in article Vlieter Incident
editI reverted your (probably already years old) edit Hereditary Stadtholder from Hereditary Prince in Vlieter Incident, because it introduces a rather severe error. I have now added a footnote that will (I hope) prevent similar future errors and put an extensive explanation on the Talk-page of the article. In case you are not convinced you could read the wikipedia articles on the subject of Erfprins(z) in other languages, and you might try googling Erfprins in Google Books. I found a number of contemporary books that way that have the word in the title. Hope this is useful.--Ereunetes (talk) 19:31, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
