Ext links in text

No no Per WP:MOS

please do not add ext links in text - thanks.. - please either revert your list of ext links - or ask for help - thanks...

Also if you are taking text from a nat heritage website doc that has (C) - you are basically in WP:COPYVIO territory - unless you either put it into quote - or - paraphrase it - verbatim copying text is not what wikipedia is about JarrahTree 01:32, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

Also adding basically the same info on every article is counter-intuitive - a centralised point that can be linked to the info is how wikipedia works with such info - repeating the same info at every national heritage property is ... JarrahTree 01:57, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

Yep, exactly. I've just undone all your edits because they're far more trouble to clean up than they're worth. Also, Especially adding your info to the lead sections, as you did at Kakadu National Park, is highly inappropriate. If you have been asked to make these edits on behalf of an employer, you have a conflict of interest and should not be making them directly. Graham87 03:10, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

@Graham87 and JarrahTree: The material that Jorobin has inserted is taken from http://environment.gov.au, for instance http://www.environment.gov.au/heritage/places/national/stirling-range. This material is cc-by 4.0, ref https://www.environment.gov.au/copyright-statement, which means that it can be inserted but must be credited, ref WP:COMPLIC and {{CC-notice}}. Paid editor disclosure on User page

Thank you, @Jorobin:, for declaring your paid editor status. But if you are going to be a paid editor, can I suggest you learn a little bit about the mechanics and policies of contributing to Wikipedia before you do it. Because the issue with your edits isn't so much about your paid status, but more that you don't appear to understand about the policies on copyright violation, or how to do creative commons attribution, what makes a good citation, use of the DD Month Year format in dates etc. Doing a poor job at contributing and expecting unpaid volunteers to clean up after you is not acceptable. I've blocked you indefinitely because you're doing far more harm than good here. The final straw was your edit to Ningaloo Coast, where you'd added text that was already in the article, not for the first time. Graham87 02:22, 13 December 2017 (UTC)

Hi Graham87, Apologies for my repeated errors, I am new to Wikipedia. The purpose of my edits is to add the dates various sites were listed on the Australian National Heritage List on behalf of the Australian Heritage Council, a branch of the Department of the Environment and Energy. The purpose of this is to ensure the community is aware of the heritage status of these sites and the accompanying protections this grants them under Australian law. Clearly, I've made a misstep in my approach to doing so and would love some guidance going forward. Is it possible for me to be unblocked in order to continue to add information to the pages of these sites I believe is in the public interest - it will be as simple as making sure each one has the correct date it was gazetted to the Australian National Heritage List in the main copy and "Further Information" sections of each page.
