Disambiguation link notification for July 20
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Donald Trump presidential campaign endorsements, 2016, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Clarke. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Michael J. Pence
editThe article Michael J. Pence has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non notable - notability is not inherited.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gbawden (talk) 06:21, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Traditionalist Workers Party (TWP)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Traditionalist Workers Party (TWP) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —0xF8E8 (talk) 05:09, 24 August 2016 (UTC)

October 2016
editYour recent edit to Evan McMullin presidential campaign, 2016 appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - This page was mistitled "Ileana Wechtel" rather than "Ileana Wachtel" with an "a" in the last name. As for the page's relevance, Wachtel is the third-most important individual with two of the most influence PAC backing a major third-party candidate. I'll leave this message again in the link you provided.

editHello, I'm Ad Orientem. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Dark Enlightenment without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Ad Orientem (talk) 00:06, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
The section had been marked as using a unreliable source for over a month. No additions were made to the section, so I removed it.
- I am seeing two sources cited for that section. Are you asserting that both are not RS? I do think that section is a bit clunky and it seems to substantially repeat what is at the top, which is better sourced. That said, both Dreher and Davis are highly regarded figures in the world of conservative thought and I would take a deep breath before saying either was inherently non-RS especially when opining on these kinds of subjects. -Ad Orientem (talk) 00:38, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- In that case, the section ought to be on the alt-right page. Putting it with Neoreaction does seem a bit disjointed. Good luck though, that page is monitored very poorly. It reads like an opinion piece, and biased against at that.
- After thinking about it, I don't think it adds much to the article and I have removed it. -Ad Orientem (talk) 01:08, 1 November 2016 (UTC)

The article Hans-Dietrich Sander has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Ahecht (TALK

If you don't want Pierre Vial (politician) to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.
If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.
