Wow, you've got quite a few links! I fixed them for wiki markup, but remember to look at my page for examples. The way you make a wikipedia link internally is [[link_title]] where the "link_title" is the stuff after http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ . Give it a shot. You might want to start by watching the video on basic editing - boldness and links that is on the [page]. As for the project, as I stressed in class, go to scholar.google.com and see what you can find. Remember two things: 1) this must be about a communicative event or phenomena 2) your project is about synthesizing other people's research in a neutral manner. It looks like you've got a lot of research ahead of you to narrow these ideas down. Debaser42 (talk) 02:41, 20 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Interesting Article

edit

Hey! It's Scotty from your Comm 375 class. I was on the Time website and found this really interesting article regarding Haiti and how they are perceived by the U.N. Maybe it can be used as a reference for your project? If not however, I hope you still find it to be an interesting article to read. Good luck with everything. http://globalspin.blogs.time.com/2011/09/27/haiti-doesnt-need-new-soldiers-it-needs-better-cops-and-u-n-peacekeepers-in-the-meantime/ Sjeanbap (talk) 22:19, 27 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Media Representations of Haiti

edit

Hello Joujoute. I would first like to thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia, they are greatly appreciated. The article Media Representations of Haiti, which you started and significantly contributed to, has some small issues. I've added some maintenance and cleanup tags to your article. Firstly, the article looks like it is written like an essay, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. Also, it has some original research, which is also not allowed unless the information is covered by reliable sources. Lastly, it would be great if the article has more citations. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to message me on my talk page. -- Luke (Talk) 23:49, 4 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks again for your contributions!

Hey there! Just dropping a note that I've moved your article back to User:Joujoute/Sandbox, as the community deemed it not ready. Your instructors will continue helping you work on it for now. Cheers, m.o.p 04:39, 14 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. In Media Representations of Haiti, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Mermaids (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.
