Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited AfroBasket 2015, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Carlos Morais. what are you doing? The dominican will finish 2 wins and 2 losses, so it is possible for all teams to finish tied in the group I guess. However even if they do, the tie is broken by goal average and since we already know that they will have a goal average above 1.00, somebody else will have to be below that. It is not possible for them to be last so stop removing it please.18abruce (talk) 23:38, 3 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. You need to verify before you change Hall of fame status. O'Neal is not eligible in 2016. Please do not change these again. Spparky (talk) 04:37, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

The Basketball reference.com website has not changed their listings and it seems their info is not up to date. Revisions to your edits would not be made if you provided references on changes like this. Thanks. You might add ProveIt, a powerful GUI tool for viewing, editing, adding, and inserting references (screenshot, working demo) in your "preferences" tab under "gadgets" for easy adding of references. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on NRG Stadium. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. BilCat (talk) 06:14, 22 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Texas basketball

edit

The issue isn't space, its purely a matter of relevancy. The next season's recruiting class has no impact on this season and the season finishes too late for this season to have a strong impact on the recruiting class of 2017. The only relevancy it has to the season is being finialized during the season and that's it.--Rockchalk717 07:02, 29 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

NBA All-Rookie Team Conditions

edit

So I read your explanation for the All-Rookie highlight: "when player has a lot of accomplishments, you can not list All-Rookie Team honors if that player won Rookie of the Year as well, given that it's a foregone conclusion they would be All-Rookie as well". Are you basing this from your own personal reasoning or is this something agreed upon for player's infoboxes? Was this decided or mandated at all on the site-wide basketball project page ?Banan14kab (talk) 02:40, 2 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

By the way I saw you removed it from LeBron James's article, but not Jordan's or Iverson's.
That reasoning makes sense. If it's mentioned on the project page I ca respect it. I will revert Iverson and Jordan's articles. Banan14kab (talk) 06:28, 3 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding Houston Rockets to his profile (or vice versa). He didn't sign with the team as there's a conflict between both sides. The standard is to wait for the official announcement. Moreover, basketball-reference.com is a very bad source for your claims as it's just a statistics website. – Sabbatino (talk) 07:13, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

2016 Houston Texans season

edit

Please stop deleting the "2nd team" bit from the All-Pros list in the infobox. You can't just claim they're All-Pros when they only made the 2nd team. Also, the All-Pro team doesn't include defensive ends any more, just edge defenders and defensive linemen. Jadeveon Clowney was included as an edge defender, so he shouldn't be listed as a DE in the All-Pros list. – PeeJay 10:48, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

What happened last year is totally irrelevant. Every other team in the league lists whether their players were. Aled to the All-Pro 1st or 2nd team. To not put that info in makes their achievement seem greater than it was. And also, according to the Associated Press, Clowney is an edge defender, since he plays as a hybrid DE/OLB. Please do not change this again, or take it up with WT:NFL. – PeeJay 18:42, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
