Infobox in cycling articles
editHi JudoonCyclist, I see you're replacing the infoboxes of the season team articles. They look realy cool! Great work! A minor hint for the future, for the status input, it might be an option to use [[List of 2014 UCI ProTeams and riders|UCI ProTeam]] in stead of [[UCI ProTeam]]. Sander.v.Ginkel (Je suis Charlie) 21:02, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you Sander.v.Ginkel! I was wondering about that yes, but don't you think the ProTeam/ProConti/whatever should link to an article explaining the different levels of pro cycling, and not just a list of teams that season? Seems to me that if someone does not know what a UCI ProTeam is, landing on a list of current teams is not very helpful to them. Perhaps we should remove the redirect and just write a short article exlaining the different levels of pro cycling instead? If you want to help adding the infoboxes to all the articles, I wrote instructions on how to fill it in over at {{infobox cycling team season}}. Also, what do you think about the color? Should we use another one, or even different ones for ProTeam/ProConti/etc? Have a nice day! JudoonCyclist (talk) 08:56, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
- And thanks for your input on the cycling notability discussion. I've pinged a couple of editors for their input. Thanks again. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 19:42, 24 February 2015 (UTC)

Ceramica
editWell all the sources that I've found that are reliable use - outside of bikeraceinfo - the name Jolly Ceramica ([1], [2], [3], [4], [5], and more) for the team during the 1973 Giro d'Italia, but the team name could've been Jollj Ceramica for other events. So I think having it as Jolly Ceramica in the Giro articles is correct since there aren't any reliable sources that I've found that use the name Jollj Ceramica when talking about the 1973 Giro d'Italia. Disc Wheel (Talk + Tontributions) 21:10, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
- No wonder the misconception is so widespread if even the newspapers at the time got it wrong! Take a look at The Stars and The Water Carriers about the '73 Giro, for example at 1:39 you can clearly see the team name on the team car spelled with a "j". The team was never called Jolly. JudoonCyclist (talk) 22:41, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
- Based off all the places where i've seen it, I think the name might just have be stylized as Jollj; I don't think so many people could have gotten the name wrong. Disc Wheel (Talk + Tontributions) 23:37, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
- I find that explanation equally hard to believe, why would they stylize a "y" the same way as the "j"? But seeing as I don't have any reliable published sources to back me up and you do, I won't change anything for now. JudoonCyclist (talk) 21:13, 12 March 2015 (UTC)
