Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Key's booth at Comiket 71.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Key's booth at Comiket 71.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Angus McLellan (Talk) 22:10, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Juhachi! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 18 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 226 article backlog. Lists of "soundtracks" or "albums"?

Thinking about starting a list article and I realized all of Key's music articles ends with "soundtracks" except Planetarian's which ends with "albums". Is there a reason for this? Or was it just never moved? I'm not seeing any clear indicator here as to why Planetarian's is different.. Thanks. --Remy Suen (talk) 22:06, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi Juhachi! I want to make Bids for the 2016 Summer Olympics a Featured topic comprising other seven articles: Rio de Janeiro; Chicago, Madrid, Tokyo; Baku, Doha and Prague. However, it is difficult to do alone. I wonder if you could help, managing such an article (perhaps Tokyo's) until it reaches the Featured article status. I am looking for others who might also help. Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. The Rambling Man (talk) 16:15, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Recent high charting anime song pages

Hi! You seem to do a ton of really good, detailed anime pages. You wouldn't be able to give me a hand with 2010 in Japanese music, would you? Recently, some anime series' character singles/in-world bands have been charting like crazy, and they really need pages (either discography-style or individual single-style). Such as:

I honestly don't know a lot about these, but if you could create something on them, it'd be awesome! --Prosperosity (talk) 07:51, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Aww, that's a shame, since "Go! Go! Maniac" in particular really deserves some sort of article, due to its #1 single status-ness. And cripes, that Popotan article got featured? There's defeinite hope for the crap I peddle out then, woo. --Prosperosity (talk) 14:16, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

Sorry I am new here, I guess when you mentioned "Wikipedia is not a forum" -- I do not know if you are referring to me. Question on ToraDora release date

My bad on the edit, I read it as saying late June instead of early July. The reason for my change was that I already received the Box Set for the first half of the ToraDora series last week...Thursday more specifically. According the one of the distributors, RightStuf [1], as well as NIS America [2] it won't come out until July 6th but since there has been an early release should that not be considered? Or maybe I'm just one of the lucky few to get it weeks earlier? Thinking about it, I'm leaning towards just stating it as an early July release since that's where all the sources point out anyways...better for verification and consistency but it's still bugging me a little that for some the DVDs were released early. Fox816 (talk) 05:58, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Also another question...in the box set release by NIS, included is a hardcover book featuring each episode of the first half of the series and commentary and translated interviews with the seiyuu's and staff from the series. It looks like a great source for some out-of-universe information but there isn't any ISBN or anything attached to the book since it came with the box set. I'm wondering how to cite it when I pull info from it and add it to the article. Ideas? Fox816 (talk) 06:08, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

The Familiar of Zero

I was looking at Anime News Network's link to the entry and under themes it lists it as a harem. Plus, in the anime, Saito attracts the attention of three girls: Louise, Kirche, and Siesta. Usually, two girls makes it a love triangle, while three or more makes it a harem. I'm going more off of my anime and manga experience than actual information for that one though. Didn't want to spark an edit war or anything so I figured I'd talk it over with you before putting it back up. Thanks for listenin', WM2 03:28, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

This statement "Under the term of license, a user cannot commercially distribute a vocal as a song sung by the character, nor use the mascot image on commercial products, without the consent of the studio who owns them." is not from that source, so i do not believe that information is legit unless it is properly sourced. The Yamaha FAQS clearly states your allowed to, as long as you do not offend the public policy.

Vocaloid page

It was a nice intention switching "Voicebank" to "vocaloid". However you labelled several things as "vocaloid" in the process that weren't, like the Voiceroids. "Voicebank" was used for various reasons throughout the article. The article needs rereading to double check the problem isn't just related to Voiceroid, I've found at least two instances. Also, a small note, I put up information today on a prototype Voicebank, which has yet to make it to "vocaloid" status as its a WIP. 94.168.119.106 (talk) 17:24, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Romanization for words of English origin

On the MOS:JP talk page, a discussion has been started about including or not including romanizations for words of English origin, such as Fainaru Fantajī in Final Fantasy (ファイナルファンタジー, Fainaru Fantajī) (for the sake of simplicity, I called this case "words of English origin", more information on semantics here).

Over the course of a month, it has become apparent that both the parties proposing to include or not include those romanizations cannot be convinced by the arguments or guidelines brought up by the other side. Therefore, a compromise is trying to be found that will satisfy both parties. One suggestion on a compromise has been given already, but it has not found unanimous agreement, so additional compromises are encouraged to be suggested.

One universally accepted point was to bring more users from the affected projects in to help achieve consensus, and you were one of those selected in the process.

What this invitation is:

  • You should give feedback on the first suggested compromise and are highly encouraged to provide other solutions.

What this invitation is not:

  • This is not a vote on including or excluding such romanizations.
  • This is not a vote on compromises either.

It would be highly appreciated if you came over to the MOS:JP talk page and helped find a solution. Thank you in advance. Prime Blue (talk) 11:29, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Hello Juhachi, I thank you for your criticism of my 1st page, but i don't appreciate you deleting the whole thing that i had spent 2 hours typing up before i was finished with it. As i can only get online via my local library i was limited in my time to do the page. I had more links I was going to post today but saw that you had deleted it. You also have to remember that there is more to Black Rock Shooter than just the 50 minute OVA. There is an extensive character list of characters that Huke has drawn but was not shown in the OVA. Hey Juhachi, Ef: A Fairy Tale of the Two. has been on my watchlist ever since I gave it a GA review for you back in the day-- I just noticed this edit pop up in the article. It's not sourced, but I figured you'd be able to talk to the verifiability of it. Nomader (Talk) 18:32, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

I figured as much but I felt it was better to be safe and check in with you. Thanks for the help. Nomader (Talk) 02:48, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Cardcaptor Sakura

Hi,

Noticed you are improving it. I'm dropping a link my user space as long ago i worked on a draft on Cardcaptor Sakura related albums & singles. Note that some refs need to be replaced with Oricon refs. I hope it's help. --KrebMarkt (talk) 10:57, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Can you do me a favor?

I had to completely rewrite the UTAU page, but its far from perfect. Its kind of related to the Vocaloid page, could you give it a once over and check its up to quality for me? I'm not a great "whole page" rewriter. 94.168.119.106 (talk) 23:14, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Thanks very much! 94.168.119.106 (talk) 07:24, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
I also had to starta Voiceroid article since theres now evidence this software is being developed further. Can you also check this page out for me? Its only small and hasn't much to offer it just needs the references mostly to be fixed up. Many thanks in advance. Angel Emfrbl (talk) 10:35, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
I am also working on the software developers related to these products, although I am not particularly doing well at these. I'll list them as I do them, but so far I've done AH Software. I did put out a request and ask for these pages to be created previously, but the lack of response was significant enough that I had to make the articles myself. However I haven't logged into wikipedia since about 2007 and its showing how poorly out of touch with article creating I am. Angel Emfrbl (talk) 11:03, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
PowerFX - this one I admit I can only start off as a stub. Angel Emfrbl (talk) 11:13, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Okay I have a problem, I want to create a page for Zero-G as well, however Zero Gravity is a sort of problem in this bit. What do you suggest for this one? Angel Emfrbl (talk) 11:14, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Try Zero-G (company).-- 21:15, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll create that page later today. 94.168.119.106 (talk) 06:53, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Apparently a link was already set up, but the page never, when I looked on Zero-G disem-what-ya-ma-call-it-directary-thing. So its gone under Zero-G Ltd. All I could do however was write up what I know about their Vocaloids and leave it for someone to write more on it. That is both the good and sad news about it. I admit, looking up companies is not my strength. Anyway, all the current needed pages to Vocaloid are now set up for wikipedia editors to edit further. At some point a template directory can now be created to home this lot. That, I leave to another. Angel Emfrbl (talk) 20:42, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Story of Evil I found this related page, however someone copy + pasted it from the vocaloid wikia. I already removed the manga links, but it needs some attention. There is now a manga for it, so its worth keeping it, however its in desperate need of repair and I'm quite frankly surprised its gone unnoticed already. I'll work on it tomorrow, can you take a few hacks at the page in the mean time? I need to retrieve the information on the manga that goes with this series, but right now I'm still locating all the Vocaloid related pages. I only happen upon them by accident right now. 94.168.119.106 (talk) 19:52, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

I don't really have the time to deal with that right now, sorry.-- 19:55, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
Pity, because I could do with help and help isn't exactly that ready as of late. Theres a bunch of templates on it and by the looks of it a page wipe and rewrite is needed. From what I gather, its the last of the lost loose pages related to Vocaloid. The whole Vocaloid related pages has been a mess to set up, find and manage as it is. I tried to ask for help at a forum, but also none was handed out. This hasn't been easy at all. Anyway, yeah, I'll rewrite the entire page at some point tomorrow as a start. Thanks anyway for the reply. 94.168.119.106 (talk) 22:28, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Lost Property of the Sky

This external site that you seem to love to delete has a contractual agreement with CrunchyRoll to stream episodes of Sora, why you tell me it fails I do not know. It specifically states it on the site and I can see the embed code is the html source. So what exactly is the problem?

Additional info: If you dont know html programming you may do this to verify.

Go to this page for example: http://www.lostpropertyofthesky.com/forte.html

1. click on the preview or the announcement for example. 2. start the player. 3. wait a few moments, watch exactly where you are on the show. 4. double click on the movie 5. you will she the show continue on the cruchyroll site exactly where it left off. 6. crunchyroll has a streaming right for these episodes and has granted the Fan Club the ability to show the episodes.

Anything else?

The only reason you can't access it, is because Visual Art's has restricted viewing of that website to Japanese IPs only. There's no reason to replace them, as they are basically equivalent to offline, printed sources now.-- 09:53, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Fortune Arterial

Hello again Juhachi. I was actually the IP: 220.244.130.210 Edit at 01:26, 24 October 2010. I forgot to log in forgetting that it expired after 30 days. Anyway, I wanted to discuss about my contribution to Kanade's part as RA, should we really drop out the capital? I mean RA is an abbreviation itself. So for future reference, I guess we keep capital to minimum? Flowright138 (talk) 12:29, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Generally, these terms are over capitalized for some reason. Convention is that if the term is later abbreviated, like if you were to mention that she's a resident advisor a second time, then it would be okay to write "resident advisor (RA)" when you first introduce the term, but there's still little reason to capitalize it, since they're not proper nouns.-- 20:35, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
A reasonable explanation. Thanks. I will keep that in mind on my next edits. Flowright138 (talk) 04:18, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Mako Aboshi

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mako Aboshi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Shenhemu (talk) 12:48, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Angel Beats! OST

In my opinion, it is time to have information about List of Angel Beats! soundtracks. So, you write it, okay? Thanks --minhhuy*= (talk) 12:33, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

In my opinion, it is not worth creating. The information that can go in that page is easily given on the main Angel Beats! article, in so much, the release dates and how well they charted on Oricon. Any other information would pertain to the track listings, and I do not believe those are worth creating a new music list, especially when the series has so few releases.-- 21:33, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

Length of Little Busters?

Noticed you've played the game, how long did it take you? Say, forty, fifty hours? I hear it's quite long. --生け 01:27, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

I haven't actually played the game, just have it. The article states Little Busters! is about half the length of Clannad in terms of prose, but there's the added mini games which lengthen the game. So I'd say 40 or 50 hours seems reasonable. It would take me much longer, though, since I'm a slow reader.-- 09:14, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

Work in Tsubasa and Holic

Nice work in Cardcaptor Sakura. I'm pretty sure it will become GA. By the way, were you the user who some months ago improved a lot the article Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, right? I tried expanding it some parts some weeks ago reworking a bit the plot and adding more refs. Now I'm checking xxxHolic, but I think it is needing some work. I couldn't find anything about production except an interview with Anime News Network that discusses the film. Anyway, cheers. Nice work-Tintor2 (talk) 15:08, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

As far as Clamp works go, I've only worked on Cardcaptor Sakura, which is one of the few Clamp works I've actually read/watched; the other being Chobits. BTW, I have the intention of bringing Sakura Kinomoto to GA eventually, after I've read all the manga. I have some experience getting characters up to GA (see my work on Ayu Tsukimiya) so I think I could do it if I put in the time and effort. Good luck on improving the other Clamp articles.-- 21:15, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Reliable sources

Hi, I read the article Little Busters!: "This mannequin was later put onto the Japanese Yahoo! Auction website in late September 2007 and sold for 764,000 yen (about US$6,500), a far cry from the original wish of selling the figure for 5,000,000 yen (about US$42,600)" with source is a picture from imageshack - an unreliable source. So please make sure you use a source more reliable than the other. Can use pictures from the Yahoo! page? Thanks --minhhuy*= (talk) 09:53, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

The actual Yahoo page is no longer available. That screenshot was taken before it disappeared, but no one archived the auction, so that's all we got.-- 10:13, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

Mashiroiro Symphony

Hi, Juhachi. Hoping to ask for your opinion regarding sources. I am wondering if you think citing a booklet that came with Tech Gian (similar to the Key Extra Book that came with G's Magazine's June 2008 issue) will work as a reliable source for Mashiroiro Symphony, as the article is currently tagged. Thanks! -- クラウド668 17:19, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I'd say so, since it's basically being published as a part of Tech Gian, and therefore Enterbrain. The Japanese article even used it as a reference. Also, good to see you again too; haven't really seen you around lately.-- 19:22, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I was thinking I should edit again on here since it has been a year since I started the Mashiroiro Symphony article in my userspace. I actually asked Hinadori, who wrote the Japanese article, for the source. I haven't actually seen the actual source itself, but I guess it should work if we assume it's right. -- クラウド668 01:25, 28 November 2010 (UTC)

Update CLANNAD

[7], well --minhhuy*= (talk) 11:30, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi

I was thinking of reviewing Cardcaptor Sakura for GA but stopped midway since I'm not very good at spotting places for improvements. Anyways I noticed there were some things in the article that might be a problem so I'll list it here.

  • For the anime section, I think there sources should be added for the season division and other broadcast stations.
  • Ref 32's date would be more consistent as month/day/year.
  • Why does the article source "Relevations" to be the final episode? TV MSN says there should be more.
  • Ref 83 says "URL does not exist" in Japanese.

Well that's all I could find. Good luck with GA. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 11:31, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Hatsune Miku

Hello, saw that you reversed the artist infobox back to software infobox but am not sure it's appropriate due to the scope of the article. We could replace the word "born" with "created", but note that you are using "she" and not "it" when mentioning Miku, therefore I don't think that using "born" figuratively is so wrong. More broadly speaking I don't think there's a rule saying that an artist must be a person, especially in this peculiar context. Could we discuss that on the article talk page to find a agreement ? Vocaloid references

Lately on regards to Appends, there have been some rather confusing translations at VO forums. Thus... I haven't added a couple of them in a hurry. I need some help with a translation limits. Basically, the translations others have provided have been sketchy lately and I can't get 100% proper translation. If you can't help me with getting some of these translations sorted I'd appricate it. Even if it means I have to go elsewhere to find soemone who can translate it.

http://vocaloid.blog120.fc2.com/blog-date-20101214.html - apparently this is suppose to talk about a Gumi "extended" edition and a new Kittyler becoming a Vocaloid or something.

The second I wanted was in regard to a Kaito "append" unfortantely they didn't link to the twitter messages so that can't be added to the page. If you could help me out here a little so these can be added to the page, I'd appricate it. Also, this one on "Meaw" is proving a translators nightmare;

http://www.starchild.co.jp/special/meaw/ http://vocaloid.blog120.fc2.com/blog-entry-6997.html

I've managed to confirmed these were intended to be released "into the Vocaloid culture", which already means they belong on the page, but where is in some doubts because people say they are Vocaloids or something. If they are not, then their in the culture section, if they are their elsewhere on the page. Thanks. 94.168.119.106 (talk) 09:22, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

First on Meaw, it doesn't appear confirmed that they're Vocaloids, or using the Vocaloid technology, but it's probably right that they're in some way connected. I won't be able to confirm any "Kaito append" until I was to see a confirmation myself. There's also nothing definitive on Kittyler becoming a Vocaloid. It does, however, appear that the president of Internet Co., Ltd. confirmed the production of a "Megpoid extend" with various voices that will begin production next year.-- 09:49, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
Oh wow! Thanks! I was expecting a reply so soon. I added the reference for Megpoid extend, though I didn't add the Meaw one yet. I'll try and stir up the Kaito "append" tweets out of the other Vocaloid fans. As far as I can tell, "Append" is a mistranslation, as there was more then one word that could have come up there besides Append. Though there is suppose to be something like the Appends... As I said, I'll try to see if I can get one of those who know to post the links. All thats up so far and confirmed is that he and Meiko will get an update to V2 or V3 though thats it. 94.168.119.106 (talk) 12:02, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

To Heart 2 and To Heart 2: Another Days

You probably have noticed, but I've been working on the To Heart 2 article in hopes of bringing it to a GA (well, one can always dream). I am wondering if you can give me some feedback regarding how to incorporate information regarding Another Days into the article. Do you think the Another Days release should be considered as part of the To Heart 2 release chronology (in the sense of the PS2 version's release → PC version → Another Days → PSP version), or whether it should be listed in a separate paragraph when mentioned in sections such as Release history and Reception. Right now, I am leaving Another Days's release information in a separate paragraph than the main releases, but am also thinking of giving it its separate section or maybe even article (although we did agree before that they should be merged) like what School Days is currently doing. -- クラウド668 09:13, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Since Another Days is a spin-off work, and largely focuses on characters not prominently featured in To Heart 2, I do in fact believe it should be in a separate paragraph in a given section. The PS2 --> PC --> PSP are still essentially the same game, right? Yes, the PC version has sex, but that's no different from what happened with Little Busters! and Ecstasy. Kud Wafter on the other hand is a true spin-off work and got its own article mainly because the Little Busters! article is already hugely packed with info on just Little Busters! and Ecstasy, not to mention the different story, and the addition of characters unique to Kud Wafter. But in the case of To Heart 2, Another Days seems a lot closer in story and gameplay to To Heart 2, and I assume the staff for Another Days is probably largely unchanged from To Heart 2 and XRATED. For Another Days to get its own article again, I guess you'd have to ask yourself if splitting it off would aid in understanding and readability of the main article.-- 11:44, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
I haven't actually played Another Days yet, but I think it's somewhat different than To Heart 2 in terms of gameplay and story. The only prominent change that I've noticed in the gameplay is that To Heart 2 superimposes the entire screen with text, while Another Days uses a dialog box, but I suppose that can be mentioned in the gameplay section if needed. On terms of story, Another Days have three different storylines: one extends Konomi's storyline, but is a harem with both Konomi and Tamaki; another extends Manaka's storyline, but involves her sister as the heroine instead; and the Another Days scenario extends, well, the bad ending of To Heart 2, and takes place in the fall instead. I am not entirely sure whether that information should be fit in the gameplay section, story section, or an Another Days section under Development (like what the Japanese article has). But on the other hand, I am not entirely sure whether the Another Days release is enough to warrant its own article, because outside of those two sections, everything else is quite similar. The setting and characters are the same (aside two new heroines), its soundtrack is largely shared (down to the opening theme, aside the fact that it's sung by a different person), its reception background can largely be consolidated together, and the anime adaptations cannot be referred as an adaptation of one another (adnext is referred to as the fourth OVA series of To Heart 2, instead of the third OVA series of Another Days). I think I will try to see if the information can be written into the To Heart 2 article first, before considering a split.-- クラウド668 20:49, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Golden Time (novel)

What would you like added to satisfy the notability guidelines? The English page that I created was my own translation of the Japanese page. I am not a native speaker of Japanese, so I may have got some things wrong, and it doesn't necessarily flow well: I tend to be a bit literal in my translations.--Rpapo (talk) 13:42, 25 December 2010 (UTC)

The point is that the article does not seem to satisfy any of the WP:GNG requirements. See also WP:BK.-- 20:27, 25 December 2010 (UTC)

Then the Japanese article would probably be just as deficient. I only translated what they had there. Shortly after I did so, some Russians took what I did and made a Russian version of the same. The Korean article seems to be something altogether different, as it has very little content. In any case, there isn't a wealth of English language reference material on this book, as the only translation that appears to exist is mine, and it's only about one-tenth complete. FWIW, the work can be found at the Baka Tsuki project. Not that my translation is authoritative: I have only been studying the language a few years on my own. --Rpapo (talk) 22:22, 25 December 2010 (UTC)

Looking over the guidelines, I can see why the book may not be considered "notable". By that standard, a large amount (though not a large percentage) of what is currently posted on Wikipedia, particularly in the popular culture area, would not be considered "notable". Lo que será, será. If the article gets deleted, then it gets deleted. So be it. I'm not an encyclopedia writer, but it was just a contribution to the cause, so to speak. --Rpapo (talk) 22:28, 25 December 2010 (UTC)

The point is that each article must demonstrate notability on its own, and any article that cannot do that has the possibility of getting merged or deleted. The guidelines on the English wikipedia are a lot stricter than other language versions, generally, and not everything does deserve an article. I tagged the article for notability to give you or someone else the chance to provide evidence of notability, and if that can't be done, I'll probably propose it to be deleted in a couple of months. The article may be able to prove notability later, say with an anime adaptation, but as of right now, I do not believe the article should have been created yet.-- 00:15, 26 December 2010 (UTC)

Like I said, so be it. I translated the Japanese wiki article to gather information about the book before deciding to attempt its translation. Since I had done the translation of the article, it seemed a waste to not make it available for others. Another consideration may be the expected continuation of the series, especially since this first volume appears to have sold well. FWIW, doing the translation is more like an extended, self-imposed homework assignment than anything else, though it is interesting in the sense that I have no real idea as to what the next page will bring. --Rpapo (talk) 01:09, 26 December 2010 (UTC)

Thanks a lot for going back and finishing it. I'll be sure to incorporate what I can.-- 05:41, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
No problem (and sorry that it took me such a long time). I should also point out that the profile under Eiji Usatsuka's illustration noted that he worked on Key's graphics, and that he himself noted in the illustration that he helped as a debugger in Air, but I am not sure if that's anything you can use in the articles. -- クラウド668 06:44, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
