editYou clearly didn’t see the show I referenced. I’m not up to speed on how to cite things on wiki. However, what I put with an asterisk was true Junco404 (talk) 04:28, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Junco404, you can read this link for information on citing sources: Wikipedia:Citing sources. However, an interview with the article subject is not generally how we should be determining how to describe the person in an objective, encyclopedic way, especially in the lead sentence. It is better to reliable on independent reliable sources. Maybe that type of information could be useful to add to to the "Civil rights activism" section of his article if you added some additional context to it? – wallyfromdilbert (talk) 04:49, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
Sorry, just saw him spewing garbage on tv and noticed he’s a “civil rights activist” on this page. He was not during the interview he did with the host so I added the asterisk that was laid out during said interview. Poking around, seems hard to, today, call him an activist [for] civil rights. So I added the asterisk. He is not a civil rights activist. Maybe he was, but he is not now. Cheers to you. F him Junco404 (talk) 05:13, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
