Location of Thomas Jefferson High School
editHi! I saw you moved the page of Thomas Jefferson High School (Alexandria, Virginia) with the following edit summary:
- "Thomas Jefferson High School has always been located in Alexandria, although it is close to the Annandal[...]"
Let's look at a Map of Alexandria, Virginia. This is the city limits.
Then per this Google books search the address of TJ was "Thomas Jefferson High School, 6560 Braddock Rd., Alexandria, 22312" - This place is not in the Alexandria city limits.
I know it's confusing since many newspapers may say it's in "Alexandria" but that is because it's just what the U.S. Postal Service designated the mailing address as. There is an FAQ from the City of Houston stating: "The U.S. Postal Service establishes ZIP codes and mailing addresses in order to maximize the efficiency of their system, not to recognize jurisdictional boundaries."
