Szekely Land map
editWe are discussing the accuracy of your Szekely Land map here. Please join the discussion.--MariusM (talk) 23:59, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
- Also, could I please ask you to check these changes? Does everything look right to you? Thanks. Biruitorul (talk) 00:36, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
- Basically my original definition of a Székely Settlement was "a settlement within a Székely Seat". Now I had a look at the changes and it seems to me that other places have been added that are in the neighbourhood and have/had ethnic Hungarian inhabitants. According to my sources, eg. Aranyosgyéres/Campia Turzii was part of Torda County in the 19th century and did not belong to Aranyos Seat. --KIDB (talk) 19:51, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Image permission problem with Image:Catedrala.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Catedrala.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (talk) 07:22, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Civility
editHi, I noticed you have written material on and shown an interest in civility on wikipedia. I have created a poll page to gauge community feelings on how civility is managed in practice currently at Wikipedia:Civility/Poll, so input from as many people as possible is welcomed. Hungarian names of Romanian places
editHi KIDB, I have been working on Hungarian related settlements in Tranylvania, at least until now.
I knew that in 2007 there was a kind of compromise with Romanian editors at the Odorhei/Székelyudvarhely discussion page and you were an imporatnt party of it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Odorheiu_Secuiesc
I worked on Transylvania settlements article in compliance with the compromise reached there i.e. if Hungarian population is more than 20%, the Hungarian name should be bolded in the lead and put in the infobox.
As of 23rd, March 2010 User: Iadrian yu deleted all bolded Hungarian names from the articles of the Szekler counties and when I reverted, he started an incident case. As a result of it, the admin ruled that the 2007 compromise is not valid anymore. The change was supported by 3 editors, 2 out of them with account created only days before. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/IncidentArchive605 (decision by admin Mjroots)
What do you think about this? I see from the discussion you had a good relationship with moderate Romanian editors. If noone shares my opinion or no one believes that a positive result can be achieved, I do not want to insist, in vain Rokarudi--Rokarudi 09:15, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

editHello, KIDB. I have removed a "warning" and a "block notice" from your talk page. These messages were left (for no reason, as far as I can see) by an overeager editor and I have warned them about this behavior. I apologize for taking the liberty of editing your user talk in this way, but I see you have not edited in a while and I did not want you to be greeted with an untrue block message on your return. Please message me if you have any questions. Regards Tiderolls 05:09, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

M2 motorway (Hungary) moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, M2 motorway (Hungary), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. — InsertCleverPhraseHere 09:05, 15 July 2017 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:M2 motorway (Hungary)
