some remarks concerning your sandbox work until now

Hi Katharine,

Thanks a lot for your contribution to Wikipedia on Imagology, so far. This looks like it is growing into a very interesting page. It is quite a difficult subject, and it relates to many issues, that are not really well developed on Wikipedia. So it really makes sense to create this and spend some time on it!

By now I do have some minor questions.

1. Why do you use the underlining? Please read: WP:MOS, especially MOS:CONFORM and MOS:BADEMPHASIS .

2. Would it be a good idea to give more specific references, to pagenumbers, for instance in the first footnote (Horn, Masja), and halfway the paragraph on Theoretical assumptions, where you quote Leerssen 2016, p. 17.

3. Would it be a good idea to translate French phrases, for instance in the 'History' paragraph?

4. Perhaps it is good to make a bibliographic section, and use the Template:cite book (etc.) for the separate texts, like:

• Leerssen, Joep (2016). "Imagology: On using ethnicity to make sense of the world" (PDF). iberic@l. Numéro 10 (Dossier monographique): 13–31. {{cite journal}}: Invalid |ref=harv (help) ...... etc. including doi?

By using the ref=harv parameter in the template you can easily refer to this text by using the Template:sfn (and other inline citation templates, like Template:harv), for instance like this. Look at the wiki-text for a better understanding.
