Speedy deletion nomination of User:Kdavisfoh

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Kdavisfoh, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Contested deletion

edit

This page should not be speedily deleted because... this is the boiler plate information for the genesis of the Folds of Honor charity. It will be used on many sites and outlets. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kdavisfoh (talkcontribs)

Please do not remove or alter the speedy deletion template on the page. Per the speedy deletion policy, the creator of a page may not remove the deletion tag from it, unless the page was nominated under certain criterion. In your case, this does not apply, so you must leave it in place until either an administrator makes a ruling, or another good faith editor removes it with adequate explanation.
Copyrighted material cannot be posted on Wikipedia, even if you are the copyright holder or you have the copyright holder's permission to do so. The only way it can be accepted is if the material has been released for use by the verified copyright owner into the public domain or under a license compatible with Wikipedia. These licenses allow anyone — not just Wikipedia — to share, distribute, transmit, and adapt your work, free of charge and in perpetuity, provided that you are attributed as the author. Also, because some derivative works may be commercial, we cannot accept materials that are licensed only for educational use or even for general non-commercial use. Releasing the material is both permanent and irrevocable.
You also posted this content on your userpage. A userpage is not an encyclopedia article, nor is it a space for a draft article. It is a special page for you to write a small amount about you, the individual operating this account, and describe your goals and interests as they relate to editing Wikipedia. The userpage guidelines provide more detail about what is (and is not) considered acceptable content.
Also, if you work for or represent the interests of this charity, you have a conflict of interest (COI). COI editing is not prohibited outright, but it is highly discouraged due to the inherent difficulty in writing from the required neutral point of view. Please note that writing with the intent to promote, publicize or advertise anything or anyone is strictly prohibited. Additionally, if you are doing paid work for this charity (either as an employee or a third-party representative), you must disclose this information per Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure policy.
Finally, When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when. Thank you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:13, 21 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
