Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons
edit- - Do you have a source that Israeli is a signatory on this? Past edits in the article have included people saying neither Lebanon or Israel have signed it.--Paraphelion 23:01, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- For the record, yes I do. It's there now. -Khaighle 23:36, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Removing stuff from your talk page
edit[1]* Deleting your User Talk page or removing text from your User Talk page. Your User Talk page is the best way others have of communicating with you. It's OK to clean up or archive old content, but please be careful before removing content from your User Talk page; it may look as though you're trying to hide criticism.
I saw that you added the reference BEFORE I pointed out that you were removing stuff from your talk page. It's in the page history anyway. Try, try to wash yourself clean.--Paraphelion 23:21, 25 July 2006 (UTC) and btw it's customary to write on someone's talk page rather than their user page--Paraphelion 23:22, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- Do, do stop being a dink. I should have known somebody would find some reason to start being holier-than-thou at me when I got involved with a remotely controversial article. I removed your request for a cite because I put the cite in, rendering your request moot. If you insist that it stay here, along with an archive for all time of this petty squabble, then so be it. --Khaighle 23:34, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- Maybe it would help if you didn't start out by being a dick and calling someone a whiner just because they pointed out a few wiki rules to a new user. Regarding the controversial article, I'm not sure how I was being "holier-than-thou". You didn't even bother replying on the talk page there after accusing whoever wrote that section (partially me btw) of being sneaky. Or perhaps your frail ego couldn't accept that you were wrong.--Paraphelion 23:45, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, A) I meant the *treaty* provision was sneaky in excepting air-delivered weapons, since that would render the treaty mostly inert. Which of course, had I bothered to hunt up the cite that *I* wound up putting in for the treaty itself, I would have realized was not the case. So I was both unclear *and* poorly researched. My bad. I've replied as such on the Talk page itself, if you care. B) I am not your enemy, here. Obviously we both have too much time on our hands, or we wouldn't be editing Wikipedia. Nevertheless I recommend that you calm down and focus on keeping the actual article on-track while Zionists, Islamists and assorted random vandals try to derail it, rather than continuing your vendetta with me.--Khaighle 23:57, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- Fair enough. I apologize for getting out of hand, and also I misunderstood your comment on that article's talk page. Thankfully all we can do on wikipedia is talk so arguements don't ever become anything like the sad situation happening in the middle east now.--Paraphelion 00:05, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
