Hi Kim, I hope you can agree with me on the categorisation of Allah. It seems minor, but this is not the first "categorisation debate" I've landed in.
One minor point: when replying to a talk page message, I personally prefer to have my comments in one continuum, rather than replies interspersed (even in italics or on seperate lines). The latter gives the (false) impression that there has been a dialogue, while in fact there's been none. If anything, please quote from the message in your reply... Image:6thBeatitude.png
editHi! Thanks for uploading Image:6thBeatitude.png. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, – Quadell (talk) (help)[[]] 03:02, Dec 11, 2004 (UTC)

Gender identity-role article
editHi Kim! I am not opposed to articles on this topic (obviously), I merely was wondering whether this particular article was not mostly content already available elsewhere - especially since there is exactly one article linking to it - as opposed to gender role, gender identity and gender itself. -- AlexR 06:54, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Hi, I see that you negotiated with the owner of the copyrighted Brazillian Wandering Spider image for permission to put in in the English Wikipedia. Would you mind trying to get the same permission for the Wikipedia Commons so that I could use the image in the Chinese language version without lots of work-arounds? Thanks. 金 (Kim) 08:19, 14 May 2005 (UTC)
- Hi, Kim. When I first requested premission from the author he was very happy to let Wikipedia use it. Unfortunately, when I asked about uploading it to the Commons, he was reluctant to allow a free license to be associated with the image. I'll ask again though: perhaps he'll change his mind. – ClockworkSoul 05:59, 15 May 2005 (UTC)

What "ancient Chinese text" is this from? I'm curious as to what the words on it mean and to see a larger version of the image. Thanks. -Eep² 01:26, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. editHi, This image was seemingly uploaded prior to current image polices, Thank you.
However, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure all media on English Wikipedia is correctly licensed and attributed it would be appreciated if you were able to confirm, that it was your own work, by marking it as {{own}}, amending the {{information}} added by a third party, and by changing the license to an appropriate "self" variant. You can also add |claimed=yes
to the {{media by uploader}} tag if it is present to indicate that you've acknowledged the image, and license shown (and updated the {{information}} where appropriate).
This will assist those reviewing the many many "free" images on commons that have not yet been transfered to Commons. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:31, 8 August 2016 (UTC)

editHi, This media was seemingly uploaded prior to current image polices,
However, due to changes in the copyright situation in some jurisdictions, there is a need to ensure media on English Wikipedia is correctly licensed and attributed. It would be appreciated if you were able to confirm that it was your own work, by marking it as {{own}}, Fully completeing the {{information}} block, and leaving an acknowledgement on the file description page to indicate that you've accepted the license shown (and updated the {{information}} accordingly. If you have other uploads, please consider "claiming" them in a similar manner, You can find a list of files you have created here.

Nomination of Yinyang ren for deletion
editThe article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Yinyang ren until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.
The file File:Raphe biol Zipper.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Orphaned low-quality image redundant to higher-quality images such as File:Raphe int.JPG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. User toolbox (talk) 20:43, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
