My message :hello man...i did some changes in Alavanos.. i know this is bad for you and maybe your ideas..but thats how we see alavanos..Wikipedia is not propaganda encyclopedia. We cant say Alavanos is good.or bad..we say the truth, isnt it!!

Ok maybe you got it wrong..or maybe i said it wrong,i m not so good in english sorry if it was my mistake. But i still say that we must say the truth...Their party members were in judjment court with the Rapists and thiefers, With the anarchists and 17November (both Greece and USA made a race to stop that terrorist organisation) and that people Syriza are with 17Novemeber and spreads their terroristic ideas in Universities and Schools. What i must do to believe me..i have fotos from the university..I have Syriza members and Alavanos speach against parades insulting as Fascists in front of the parade people...Parades are made for honoring Heroes from 1940 against Hitler and ITaly!Isnt that truth yet?But he still says we must stop parades...and the only people who say stop that parades were in past the Friends of Hitler,as in 1947 ministers tried to stop parades cause they were with hitler.

Man...encyclopedia is to say the truth..not to make propagandas,Its better say the reallity.i think you are reasonable people.

Sorry for my english again..i dont try to be attacking. Thanks Giannis! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Giannour (talkcontribs) 21:16, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Change to WPFlorida template

I left a message over at Template Talk:WPFlorida, but I don't know if you're still watching it...

I would like to modify that template to display the importance parameter on the template, similar to what has been done to {{WPCities}} or {{WikiProject Miami}}. There is an enormous number of articles under the aegis of WP Florida that have not been categorized by importance, and I believe that it is because many people do not know that the parameter exists. Displaying it on the template might help encourage the use of the parameter, which I think you will agree is a good thing. In any case, you seem to be the project's keeper of the templates, and any attempt on my part to modify the template would probably result in a horrible train wreck, as complex coding is way behind my skill level. Could you take a look? Horologium t-c 04:42, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Sorry about the delay, I missed the note on the talk page of the template (I've got 1000+ pages on my watchlist). Take a look at User:Kimon/WPFlorida and tell me what you think --Kimontalk 16:58, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Dave Kleiman

(1) Sorry you didn't get notified --- I generally don't take the time to notify editors when I'm just adding tags to a page. There's nothing hostile about a cleanup tag; they're there to improve the article. Presumably, you have it in your watchlist.

(2) This article is tagged notable because it doesn't have a single reference in a reliable secondary source that is independent of the subject. It asserts that the subject is a "noted" forensics investigator, and leaves it at that. I'd fact-tag that statement, but it's the lede of the article and the subject's claim of notability, without which the subject would be a speedy.

Please note that authorship of little-read books, or co-authorship of other books, does not establish notability. Notability is simple: you are notable when someone else writes about you.

Since you know the subject far better than I do, you can probably find sources for the article pretty quickly; when you do, by all means remove the tag. I will eventually AfD the article if you don't, but it won't be any time soon.

Need assistance from the template god...

Since you seem to know your way around templates much better than I do, I figured I'd go to you for assistance again. I'm looking for a little tweaking on {{WPUF}}, the WikiProject University of Florida talk page template. I'd like to add the ability to display the priority (such as you did with {{WPFlorida}}), and (if it's possible) have both the quality and priority boxes display to the right of the image (instead of underneath it, as with most of the other templates). Since the image for the banner is vertically oriented, it would be nice to use the extra space alongside the image to place the attribute tags, rather than underneath it. Can you hook me up? Horologium (talk) 23:44, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Yes, that is exactly what I wanted! Thanks. :) I'll make sure to let the project know that you spiffed up the template. Do you need to move it over, or should I do it? Horologium (talk) 00:55, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks once again. Horologium (talk) 01:15, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

I hate to bug you again, but there is a problem with the importance tag on the template; for some reason, Top, High, Mid, and Low importance all show up as no-assessment when 1.0 bot runs through (I just manually triggered it, and it is not seeing any priorities for the tagged articles, only the quality assessment). Is this an easy fix? Horologium (talk) 01:58, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

I thought it might be capitalization (I have been capitalizing the intial letter for all importance levels), but that isn't it. It's not recognizing any priorities, and when I checked the talk pages of the articles, they don't have a category assigned as they should (Category:Top-importance University of Florida articles, for example). Horologium (talk) 02:08, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
heh. I had actually figured it out on my own, but we ec'd, and you won. :) Hopefully, the capitalization thing won't matter, since all of the importance-tagged articles are Top, High, instead of top, high... Horologium (talk) 02:28, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

RE: Essex County towns linked to esseximages.com

Hi,

Regarding adding external links to towns in Essex County (Gloucester, MA, Marblehead, MA, Salem, MA, etc). The esseximages.com site offers an amazing collection of Historic Photographs of each town not available anywhere else for people to see.

I was not trying to spam un-related links, just trying to point folks to what I think is an amazing resource for historic photographs of their area. I tried to readjust the link to go straight to the relevant section of the site (Gloucester photos for Gloucester etc).

Please let me know if the new link helps?

Thank you for your time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jsbr08 (talkcontribs) 19:07, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

CastleCops

Please see my comments at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:CastleCops#CastleCops_staff_who_have_Wikipedia_articles

Also, we had some trouble keeping the CastleCop article. (It was deleted back in Aug '05 shortly after being first placed there.) I can no longer locate the VfD discussion but a copy of the article that was deleted is archived at CastleCopsWiki. Any suggestions as to why it qualified for deletion? The reason I ask is that there's some discussion at CastleCops about updating the current article and I'm not sure what should be avoided (if anything). -Ikester (talk) 14:45, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
