Closure of deletion review for Category:Former pupils of Scottish and Welsh schools
editForgive my inexperience of Wikipedia procedure but it seems odd to close a review when only those who took part in the original discussion have commented on the review. This does not seem to be any sort of review. Incidently the closer of the original debate, Occuli (talk), nominated a similar debate on 30 July, Alumni of schools in Wales which was closed after only 2 days Timrollpickering (talk), a supporter in the orginal debate. He claimed it was on speedy criteria but if I had had the chance I would have challenged that. It is clear that both administrators are not neutral in these debates. What am I meant to do in the case of the second discussion? There is currently a RFC for naming of by school student related categories which shows that there is opposition to the new names used, although my grounds for appeal would be that Wikipedia procedures have not been followed. Cjc13 (talk) 09:58, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
- I am not an admin and have never closed any cfds (Vegaswikian closed the other one in question and opened an rfc). Cjc13 simply does not see a consensus when he is not in it. Occuli (talk) 12:09, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
- Apologises for mistaking Occuli for an admin. The actual admin who closed the cfd was Vegaswikian (talk). Vegaswikian includes on his talk page this dicussion with Timrollpickering which suggests he is not neutral on the subject. Cjc13 (talk) 12:56, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
- Apologies accepted. And any rfas will be declined. Occuli (talk) 13:24, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

King of Hearts, my query still stands. Cjc13 (talk) 09:49, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
- I have only just noticed this request for adjudication. Like Cjc13 I also think the close was a poor decision, being contrary to previous discussions which have resulted in different decisions. I do think Cjc13 deserves a better response if the CfD process isn't to become a sham. Yours, Ephebi (talk) 08:42, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry for taking so long to respond. I initially thought that it was resolved as of "Apologies accepted. And any rfas will be declined," and I didn't see "King of Hearts, my query still stands" because it was buried so far back in my messages. The thing is, there was nowhere near a consensus to overturn the result of the CfD in the DRV, so I could not have closed it anything other than "endorse." If you still disagree with the outcome, you can start a new DRV, but you must present substantially new arguments from those already given in the previous DRV. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 23:10, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Rebel Legion deletion
editHello, I would like to work with you to get the Rebel Legion page resubmitted. It was deleted by you in 2009. I believe i have enough references to prove our legitimacy and how large we are. 2500 active costumed members world wide and 5000-6000 forum users. We are mentioned in the star wars wookieepedia as well as on the 501st wikipedia page. there is also a question on the 501st Talk page about if the 501st are the bad guys is there a good guy organization? Well the Rebel Legion *IS* that good guy organization. We're slighly smaller then they are by about 1000 costumed active members. But we are still out there and included in all Lucasfilms stuff about the 501st. Including Star Wars Insider. We also participate and are recognized by Walt Disney World at Star Wars Weekends every summer.
our website is at www.rebellegion.com

Galaxy Tab ITN
editHello, King of Hearts. I just wanted to let you know that I had moved the updated content to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1#Apple patent lawsuit because the second generation Tab 10.1 is the specific product target of the lawsuit. I left a notice in ITN/C and the posting admin's page. —Arsonal (talk + contribs)— 18:45, 11 August 2011 (UTC)

Re-adding a deleted entry
editI'd like to add Shooting People - an organization for independent filmmakers, much like Independent Feature Project or Downtown Community Television Center. Since Shooting People has recently been deleted it said I should contact you. What do I need to do to add it again? Thanks, Ingrid — Preceding unsigned comment added by Inkykopp (talk • contribs) 18:16, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
- It must satisfy our notability guidelines for organizations. You will need to find multiple reliable sources that cover the organization in detail. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 00:22, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply - I'll do that. Inkykopp (talk) 12:45, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

- I created your admin coaching page: User:Ryan Vesey/Admin coaching. Be sure to watchlist it as well as any subpages I may create. Your first task is to answer the RfA questions here: User:Ryan Vesey/Admin coaching/RfA Questions. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 00:37, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
