Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LukeEmily (talkcontribs) 09:35, 23 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yes. I am familiar and the sources I gave were much more reliable. I am not promoting the caste ! I had edited in facts based on sources from the greatest historians of India !

Please stop the propaganda ! KobraPeshwa (talk) 09:40, 23 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Come up with sources based on contemporary evidence . If no then, please dont vandalise KobraPeshwa (talk) 15:09, 24 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Vaidya and Bhandarkar are more than 100 years old. Also, several of their theories - like classifying people on base of shape of the nose-are considered far-fetched and have been dismissed. On wikipedia, for caste articles , we use post independence sources. But if you have a modern academic source that says "Bhandarkar said ...." then you can use it. Gordon is a modern source. And most importantly, it has been there long before my time. I added the "Abraham Early" source. Others were already there. Its not a theory as I have read the entire page and all sources say the same. We can discuss more on maratha talk page if you want.LukeEmily (talk) 14:00, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
