However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Measurement in quantum mechanics. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. I think it was inappropriate for you to add a link to your personal website in this article. See WP:EL for guidelines about when an external link is OK to add. You should also read WP:COI. Hello Dr. Korepin
editThe current Wikipedia articles on the Bethe Ansatz, inverse scattering method, Heisenberg model, 2d nonlinear Schrodinger equation, and your other domains of expertise are in a very primitive state. If you are interested in helping to expand those pages, this would be an important step in making this important field known to everybody. It is important to remember not to cite your own articles (counterintuitive as it might be), so as to avoid possible conflict of interest, but this is not as deep an obstacle as it seems at first, since others will be able to fill in missing material and provide such citations for you. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Dear Wikipedian, you recently voted in the ArbCom election. Your username, along with around 155 other usernames of your fellow Wikipedians, was randomly selected from the 2000+ Wikipedians who voted this year, with the help of one of the election-commissioners. Hello, Korepin. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
