"Closed" SPI

See this comment by Bbb23. Should I, instead be making the case that checkuser is easy to fool? ([1] [2] [3] [4]) That's an easy enough case to make. Hell, checkuser has, at a minimum, confirmed that there are multiple groups of socks engaged in the same POV pushing at Argument from authority. I'm really failing to see any reason why this isn't a WP:DUCK. If there is something that I'm missing, please explain. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 12:50, 28 July 2017 (UTC)

@MPants at work: I'm telling you to let it go and solve your differences at the talk page. Do you really want to start casting doubt on an SPI that you instigated? Moltenflesh isn't related to them based on CU evidence. Yes, the tool can be fooled, but we're really pretty good at spotting attempts at deception, and those VPNs are mostly rangeblocked. If Bbb23 had found evidence that the account was using a VPN, the VPN would have been summarily hardblocked and his access from that IP would have been cut off.
It's not a "closed" SPI. It's a closed SPI. It was open for a week; no patrolling admin or CU blocked for being a sock of Perfect Orange Sphere, and you both started to use it as a forum, so I closed it. I'm not going to allow either of you to use SPI as a bludgeon against the other. You started there, went to ANI, went back to the SPI, and now you're here. I warned him on Bbb23's talk page, and now I'm warning you here – drop the stick. Katietalk 13:18, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
So you're discounting (or refusing to examine) the behavioral evidence I presented, because you trust the checkuser tool. I suppose I could explain the concept of dedicated IP proxies and desktop proxies, create a "test" account to prove that checkuser can be fooled without leaving evidence of VPN use, and so on, but it's clear that you're not interested. It hasn't escaped my notice that you closed the SPI after closing the ANI discussion. Very well, I'll unwatch the page and you can watch it degenerate back into the hot mess of youtube citations, POV pushing and blatantly false claims while a known sockmaster continues to sock away at the page, and "new" accounts pop up from time to time to time to edit war the sock's edits back in. I'm sure it will be a great boon to the project. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 13:42, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
@MPants at work: Your suggestion that you will step away from this is a good one. You're way too invested, and this kind of snark directed at Katie doesn't help. You're a good editor, but sometimes all of us need to take a deep breath and see things in perspective.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:25, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
@Bbb23: What perspective is that, exactly? That my complaints are annoying? I get that already, indeed, I feel chagrined about it. Or is it the perspective that I'm probably wrong about this account being a sock? Sure, I'd accept that, given a single reason more compelling than "checkuser's not certain it's a sock" or "you're annoying". I've already unwatched the page, and am not going to bother with it, because I'm sick of it all (including the admin responses and my own state of frustration), myself. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 15:19, 28 July 2017 (UTC)

deletion of Alyssa Carson

I would like to find out why you deleted this page. What banned user are you referring to? This is my daughter who has been written up in every country in the world and is the youngest astronaut in training with Possum Academy, along with a lot more firsts. I would think that she would be a person that would be included in Wikipedia. I can be reached at nasablueberry@gmail.com Thank you for attention to this, Bert Carson — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:C4AF:9150:CDF4:78E8:77BD:C4C3 (talk) 12:35, 1 August 2017 (UTC)

I agree she's notable. Please look at WP:LTA/OM. The deletion is for her protection; the subject of an article created by this person/people received a threat of extortion and blackmail just a couple of days ago. There's no prejudice against its re-creation by a user in good standing. Katietalk 16:51, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
So if I understand you correctly she can be put back on. Do you have access to the information that you deleted? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.164.128.75 (talk) 17:13, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
Yes, I do. If you create an account, I'll put it in a sandbox in your user space. I may not be around for the rest of the afternoon, but I'll do it when I return. Katietalk 17:16, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
is this what you need? User:Trebprod/sandbox/Alyssa CarsonTrebprod (talk) 17:22, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
@Trebprod: You can find it at User:Trebprod/Alyssa Carson. It needs a couple of style updates and it's a little too much self-promotion, but with a little work it could go into the mainspace soon. When you're ready, you can ask here for assistance with the move. I apologize for the inconvenience but this is a long-term abuse problem, and we simply can't tolerate it. Katietalk 17:43, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
thanks for you help, I will see if I can find someone to help me more with this since I am a noviceTrebprod (talk) 17:52, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
  • I have copyedited User:Trebprod/Alyssa Carson and was about to move it to mainspace when I instctively checked out the deleted version. It's full of trolling and some of it very unpleasant. I think it would be appropriate to surpress the entire deleted version so that it does not not appear in the history. I could partly do it by REVDEL of some of the edits, but I think oversight would be better. I think also when it is moved to mainspace it should be immediately semi protected.
Thoughts? Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 03:00, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
@Kudpung: Emailed you back. I'll suppress the deleted revisions and agree with semi-protection. This really is a nasty guy. Katietalk 08:59, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi Katie. The history through 20170510224605 should be restored (even if some/all revisions are suppressed) to provide attribution as required by CC BY-SA 3.0. — JJMC89(T·C) 02:05, 3 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi JJMC89, I think this is one case where where we can very safely say that IAR applies here. Unfortunately we can't make you privy to the content. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 05:31, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
IAR does not apply to legal requirements. — JJMC89(T·C) 05:35, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
@JJMC89: It does here. I suppressed all the revisions, so there's no history to restore, and I promise you I did it in good faith under extraordinary circumstances. The Orangemoody sockfarm is handled like this for a reason, for the protection of the subject of the article, and this involves a minor child. If you want to take it to ArbCom privately, be my guest, but I will not allow that edit history to become public again. Katietalk 09:02, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
I know that you did it in good faith. I wasn't asking for the contents of the revisions to be unsuppressed, only for the page history to be visible. Requesting that would be foolish without knowing the contents was guaranteed appropriate, and I don't question your judgement that it is not suitable for public (or admin) eyes. Since it's OM, nuke away; you'll hear no more objections from me. — JJMC89(T·C) 03:35, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
And I'll lay my admin bit on the line in support. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 09:46, 3 August 2017 (UTC)

Or will the arbitration committee have to decide if I am eligible or not? difference this time is I am willing to be topic banned from all Pakistan/India related articles permanently also I only edited with my socks after a 8 month gap and only on one India related article the rest were unrelated pages. 2A02:C7D:151D:D100:F90E:F21A:1EFD:72E9 (talk) 11:34, 6 August 2017 (UTC)
WP:OFFER states you cannot edit at all, particularly with socks. You just reset the clock, so ask again via UTRS in six months. Katietalk 11:36, 6 August 2017 (UTC)
You just used three socks on a single article, so you ought be topic banned from Islam related articles as well IMO. Darkness Shines (talk) 11:44, 6 August 2017 (UTC)

Hello

Hello,

First of all sorry for the inconvenience caused by me. Actually I have an account in Wikipedia but I don't use it much, my sister who doesn't know that I have an account frequently visits Wikipedia and changes something if it's not correct that's it. I'm not an abuser and hope that the corrections my sister did, have not caused any difficulty or she have put any wrong information. So please remove the block for this ID as we didn't want to put any wrong information to any pages here. Hope you understand.

Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 143Deepika (talkcontribs) 14:45, 7 August 2017 (UTC)

FYI

Hello KK. I hope that you are well and having a nice summer. To my knowledge this is the first time that one of the Vote X For Change/Antisemetic Ref Desk Troll's named socks has not been blocked. Considering the content of their posts this has been done as a preventative measure in the past. Hopefully they won't use this account again but I wanted to bring this to you attention just in case. MarnetteD|Talk 14:12, 7 August 2017 (UTC)

Update: the account was used again and has now been blocked. MarnetteD|Talk 00:08, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
@MarnetteD: I must have missed that. Glad to know he extended himself enough rope, though. :-) Katietalk 00:14, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
No worries KK. Sadly the post is now being restored by another editor with the claim that is isn't him. I know that past posts have been r/d'd to prevent this but I don't know if that is possible this time. Cheers. MarnetteD|Talk 00:48, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

Possible range-block?

Katie, could you review the accounts listed at User:The1337gamer/sandbox/Andy? This is a vandal we have been fighting for some time that inserts hoaxes and fake dates. For the moment they are fairly easy to spot as they are sticking with "Andy" variations, but they have previously edited logged out as well. We've been whack-a-mole'ing them but if a range block might be possible, that would be great. @Sergecross73 and The1337gamer: FYI. -- ferret (talk) 12:27, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

@Ferret, Sergecross73, and The1337gamer: I'm afraid I don't have good news. I just checked and we've already got a gigantic rangeblock down that won't expire for over a year – there are a couple of vandal sockmasters out of that range. I can't hardblock it because it's too big or I'd happily do so. I think an edit filter is the way to go here. Katietalk 12:36, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

threats

Thanks for intervening, but I'm afraid it's too late. I've updated my statement and I ask to be blocked because I believe it's the best recourse to protect myself and my family against the subtle threats that were made against me, believing that I'm a certain user (they might find out my identity, just as they did to that other user in question). thanks. --Cei Trei (talk) 13:55, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

This is my last comment on this issue:
1) I have never threatened anyone with anything, and the only info I have used is voluntarily provided by Anittas in a public forum, which is arrived at by google-searching "Anittas" and "Bucuresti" (the forum page I linked to shows up as the 4th result). This after repeated claims from Cei Trei that there could be no connection between him and Anittas, because Anittas "does not live in Bucharest". In his denial, Cei Trei also volunteered info regarding his city of residence (and beyond), which I think was ill-advised by any standard, like all the unsolicited personal info he kept publishing for instance on my talk page.
2) The only way in which "revealing" what are apparently public secrets about Anittas could be construed as a threat on Cei Trei is if Cei Trei is admitting to being Anittas.
3) The claim that I operate multiple accounts is bogus and inflammatory, and I have repeatedly said I will submit to a checkuser, even for the most frivolous claims. For the record, I have never ever interacted with Anittas and/or Cei Trei outside of our crossing paths on wikipedia, and it can be documented (indeed, I have documented) that Anittas and/or Cei Trei has/have been pestering me with unsolicited confessions, musings, taunts, and theories.
4) Among the bucket of chaff you added to your earlier defense, the most ridiculous claim is that I have referred to you as an "inbred nihilist", when anyone reading the diff will clearly see that I was referring to your claims about "unpatriotic" boyars, who are depicted as inbred nihilists in the nationalist literature you read, and who were not inbred nihilists. Dahn (talk) 14:08, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
I was a part of that public forum, just as Anittas was, just as Bonaparte was, and more importantly, just as another user--the key-user--was; however, a lot of private information was posted on that public forum by that key-user, along with threats and his photo in a balaclava. This is bigger than any sock-puppet accusation and I'm retreating, but I'll say one thing: if the key-user made smoe of us in the forum believe that he is you, by certain 'techniques' he used, then he's a genius for having manipulating all of us--including you. Or do you think that people come to your talk page randomly, for simply disagreeing with them on Wikipedia? Like I said, this is long past the sock-puppet disagreement and I don't know about your involvement in this (you two seem rather close), but I'm out. You won. --Cei Trei (talk) 14:14, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
Okay, I couldn't care less what happened on that forum, where you participated because you wished to, and to which I have never been party. Thanks for clarifying that you did contribute to that forum, which is yet another detail linking you to Anittas. I don't know how that user, whoever he is, has manipulated me simply for (as you allege) claiming he was me, but also for the record: I don't see why it would take only geniuses to manipulate you, or me, or anyone for that matter. And with that, it's really goodbye Anittas. Dahn (talk) 14:18, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
Enough, Dahn. I meant it. Last warning – drop the stick because if you make another edit here or at SPI about this, you'll be blocked. Katietalk 15:03, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

Deletion of "Jeremy McCoy (double bassist)"

Dear Katie

I am writing to ask about the deletion of the article, "Jeremy McCoy (double bassist)". I am the subject so I sent a question to an info/questions page and was told to contact you at this location for assistance. I've read through the deletion log and some of the talk here so I've already created this user account: jklj63. Please let me know what steps can be taken to restore the article. Many thanks, Jklj63 (talk) 21:22, 12 August 2017 (UTC)

@Jklj63: I've added the content from the article to Draft:Jeremy McCoy (double bass), which was declined in March. Please look it over, then resubmit it for evaluation. Since this abusive editor bypassed the AFC process, I feel this is the best way to handle these articles. Katietalk 13:08, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

Whether to file an SPI case

Hello again. I am concerned about the edits of Jurriaan2 (talk · contribs), which involves similar topics as block user Jurriaan (talk · contribs). Notice any resemblances, especially the usernames? Also, I found a previous case Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jurriaan and edits by 85.148.154.58 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) involving similar topics. I wasn't sure whether to file an SPI case, so I'm contacting you instead. Article concerning Dr. Edward M. Sion

Hi Katie,

The article regarding me was prepared by Wikipedia writers last December. I was quite surprised to see that it was deleted and found that you deleted it. I really thought that the article would stick. The article lasted for roughly eight months which gave me confidence that it would remain. One Wikipedia editor inserted the comment "An influential astrophysicist". I am new to Wikipedia and have no knowledge of how it actually works. I would be deeply grateful if you would please restore the article or possibly explain why the article was deleted. I would like to try to strengthen the article if needed, pending your comments or suggestions. Also, if you feel that it is appropriate to contact me by e-mail, then my e-mail address is <redacted>.

Thank you for your kind consideration of my message.

Best Regards,

Hcjkeik (talk) 01:51, 18 August 2017 (UTC) Ed

Hcjkeik (talk) 01:51, 18 August 2017 (UTC) Edward M. Sion

@Hcjkeik: Please see the above section titled 'deletion of Alyssa Carson', read WP:LTA/OM, and view this page for more information. You are very fortunate that this undisclosed paid editor, who violated our Terms of Use with his work, did not treat you the same way he treated other people for whom he wrote articles.
I have created Draft:Edward M. Sion with the content from the deleted page. It will be reviewed in due course by the Articles for creation project, but it may take a couple of weeks. Katietalk 18:09, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

Harry Ashland Greene

Dear Wiki admin, I have noticed that the page for Harry Ashland Greene has been deleted. I want to drop in a humble request for you to restore if it meets Wikipedia's requirements. I am happy to offer any help that may be required from my side. It will mean a lot to my family and I.

Best wishes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Forharry (talkcontribs) 13:30, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

@Forharry: I'm sorry, but I can't restore this article. Please read this page carefully; if you paid for this article to be created, I assure you it was deleted for your protection. The person who created this article tried to extort money from another article subject, attempting to blackmail her into paying, and there's evidence he did this more than once. There are a couple of sections up above on my talk page from people in the same situation. I'm very sorry if you were taken advantage of, but you'll have to find another good-faith person to create it (or you could create it yourself). Katietalk 16:20, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi Katie, Thank you for writing back to me. I appreciate your help and time. Yes, the article was paid for. As I stumble around to figure out how things work here, please could you put Harry's page in my "sandbox" like you did for the other user on this talk page? I will attempt to do some reading so that I do not mess up anything. (Hope this is the correct way to reply?) Again, thanks for the help. You are very kind. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Forharry (talkcontribs) 17:30, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

@Forharry: I won't have time to do it today. If one of my talk page stalkers who's an admin can do it, that would be fine. If someone doesn't get to it soon, I'll try to do it later this week. Katietalk 12:54, 9 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi Katie, please take your time. Thank you and God bless. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Forharry (talkcontribs) 18:27, 9 August 2017 (UTC)

@Forharry: Since there was an existing draft, I've replaced that draft's content with the content of the deleted article. You can find it at Draft:Harry Ashland Greene. If you'll go there and hit the blue 'resubmit' button at the bottom of that big pink box, an AFC reviewer will re-evaluate the content. It's out of my hands now and I won't have any further interaction with the draft or an article that comes out of it.
For the AFC reviewer who will likely come here: I don't want to get all up in AFC's business but this is a special case. As I said in my edit summary, I have no opinion on notability but I feel A7 is satisfied, so I suggest cleaning it up a little, approving it, and then allowing any deletion discussion to happen organically. Thanks. :-) Katietalk 20:53, 12 August 2017 (UTC)

Done. Thanks once again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Forharry (talkcontribs) 21:54, 12 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi Katie,

Sorry to bother you again.

I resubmitted the page and wrote to DrStrauss regarding the same. He said he is out of 'AfC'. I don't know what that means.

Please can you advise on how to go about this?

Thank you. Forharry (talk) 20:29, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

@Forharry: There's a long queue waiting to be reviewed. Just be patient and they'll get to it in its turn. All of us are volunteers. We don't get paid, so editors can participate in a particular project or not as they choose. Contacting an individual editor to try and jump the queue won't help. Do you like people who cut in front of you in a line or who pull strings to get ahead of people who have waited a long time? No? Neither do they. Katietalk 22:00, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

Hello...it's Dr Pinto

Hello Katie,

I am from the Indian Association of Surgeons.

It has been brought to my urgent attention , so have reviewed the trolling of one of India's Most revered surgeons Dr Mukesh Hariawala.

I don't believe it is for this kind of bashing from people who are neither Drs or whose identity is unknown.

In the interest of civility I encourage you to stop this immediately and remove the page promptly. I don't think presence or absence in Wikipedia makes any difference to doctors of that stature. Careers and reputation of Drs in India is built on good work and reputation in society, not on a Wiki page.

Re : Dr Mukesh Hariawala ...Dr Dharmalingham

I am a Cardiologist and former colleague of Dr Mukesh Hariawala who is an iconic surgeon in India. I am a regular user of Wikipedia but never have been a contributor.

I saw that his page shows Page Issues sign.

I read the notes of your Deletion notice...why don't you just do it rather than spoiling the image of a renowned Dr who has saved thousands of lives. He is also surgeon to the past prime minister of India.

On reading the well referenced article , I did not find a single factual error.

Please put it up what is it that you find wrong in article. Every indian Dr would be keen to read it.

People will lose faith in Wikipedia that it indulges in tarnishing images of good doctors wit natonal reputations.

Please apply judgement and do delete article if it does not meet your standards but don't spoil reputation of people who are sent by God to save lives.

Deletion ofMukesh Hariawala Page

Hello Katie,

As a Dr who has personally known renowned surgeon Dr Mukesh Hariawala , I see gross vandalism on his page. In my opinion it is not good to see revered Drs profiles being tampered and mutiliated by vandals. The current form does not in any way reflect the person. All notes has been reviewed. Why are the same vandals trying to reinstate pieces of article doesnt make sense because it still wont create a profile of a Notable person. Thus, the original author has correctly suggested SPEEDY DELETION. I fully support this suggestion.

This must be done to protect the integrity of Wikipedia.

Thank you. Dr Alvarez. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Docalvarez9950 (talkcontribs) 09:03, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

Mariah Carey sales.

You're right about the war in some Mariah Carey's articles. But you may know that some fans try to inflated the album sales of their idols a lot. In some of her articles it's possible see that there's a talk about her number. In the talk of her album Music Box the user Max24, says that the 28 million copies is the more realistic number to the album, even though it's still high. We know the USA is the biggest market for CD sales, and Mariah has very high sales in the country, but her certifications in Europe are not that high, so, use the certifications as a basis is most appropriate in these cases, since it is as close to reality as possible. I tried to talk in the user page but he erased everything that I write, he call me nutter, said what I write was a rubbish and again revert my edition. What can I do?--88marcus (talk) 16:46, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

What can you do? You can accept that they are reliable sources and stop trying to impose martial law here. Max24 and I have a near decade experience together here and we have bickered and made amends. He, for years now, as has the Wiki community, accepted those figures. Not because I like them (sure I do), but because they are reliable sourced. Do some research bro before you try and mess with articles I wrote from scratch before you even started editing. Yes, that's right Ownership here. Billboard is as reliable as it gets and I can provide 6+ reliable sources for each. So stop asking "What can I do" to sabotage Mariah Carey because you are threatened as a Madonna fan. Madonna is the best selling female, guess what. Mariah is #2. Room for both and deal. PS. Most of Madonna's albums don't reach the certifications/sales thresholds on MANY albums so let's not start warring each others artists. How did Confessions sell 12M when it sold 1.7 in US and 4m in EU?? So 5.7 + small markets = 12M?? At least Mariah's "TEOM" has 6m US, 1M EU and other markets. So... 7M vs 5.7M. See? You are biased and being unfair. Please stop the disruption. Yes, lastly, this is PeterGriffin9901 editing from an IP.--2603:3020:3307:8A00:657E:D8DC:9015:DAD2 (talk) 17:49, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
@88marcus: You use the article talk pages for discussion about articles. I checked those talk pages and they hadn't been edited in weeks. I see now that you're using them, and that's great. There are lots of methods for dispute resolution, and I encourage you to pick one you think might work best.
Ultimately, I do not care about whose sources are correct and whose aren't. I care that the edit warring stops. If I have to lock those pages, I will, but since it's only the two of you, I'll block both of you first, and that includes the IP range above from Petergriffin9901. Work it out and stop the nonsense. Katietalk 19:23, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
Actually, there is a big difference Katie... On Mimi I am reverting blatant vandalism, so I don't think my reverts count in the same regard. You can disagree and point me to the rules if you'd liike... I have a reputable source, The Telegraph, and this user and now another simply "don't like what it has to say" and keep removing it. I wrote these articles from scratch and I will not permit them to be blatantly vandalized when none of them have been challenged for years.--PeterGriffinTalk2Me 20:25, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
Lastly Katie, there is a very big difference in between warring for sport and warring to prevent vandalism. Please understand that. You tell me why they are so desperate to remove a source from The Telegraph that has been there for years with no explanation? Wait, there is an explanation. "What can I do"... Says it all honestly. Sad!--PeterGriffinTalk2Me 20:32, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
You need a refresher on what vandalism is and what it is not. There is no malicious intent here to destroy the encyclopedia. This is a difference about sources regarding chart positions and number of albums sold, and that's all. I still work AIV regularly and trust me, neither of you has a defense about edit warring in this case, so don't give me that. Take it to the article talk pages and stop arguing about it here. Editing my userpage.

Katie,

I'm a young Wikipedia user who is hoping to make a legitimate user page. I've been looking through the hall of fame and found yours to be rather straightforward and you seem quite accessible. Thanks for all the work you do ensuring Wikipedia is a quality resource. In particular, I'm hoping to set up a column of userboxes like your page. I cannot find where that is within the edits of your page? Are you able to help me out with structuring a user page or at least direct me towards where I can learn?Lessconfusedthanbefore (talk) 21:39, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

@Lessconfusedthanbefore: Oh, goodness. I didn't know it was in the hall of fame! Wow! Let me go look at the code.
(runs and looks at the code)
Okay, if you scroll about halfway down in the edit window, to the place where it says 'Sidebar', that's where my userbox column starts. The first thing is the calendar, and it has its own page which is referenced in the brackets. Then comes the status box, which also has its own page, and then the regular userboxes and barnstars begin. You can copy or steal anything on my user page that inspires you.
As for advice, I'm not a CSS expert.  :-/ I was lucky that I got to take my page lock, stock, and barrel from an experienced coder, and I kinda figured out the tweaks from there. We have a user page design center that seems to be helpful, but I think you saw it already. Celestianpower's page] was a nice one and he also had a userbox column, so that might help you. If you decide to do the calendar, I have that figured out (finally!) but it takes some maintenance and upkeep. ;-) You could also ask at the Teahouse for help with your user page's CSS if you can't figure it out on your own. They probably won't help you there but they might be able to find a volunteer to help you. Good luck, and let me know what your finished product looks like! :-) Katietalk 22:32, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
(talk page watcher) If you take a look at my user page, there is a similar but less advanced (and less pretty) example of a column of userboxes on the right hand side. The code starts with {{Userboxtop}} and ends at {{Userboxbottom}}. -- ferret (talk) 22:34, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
