Mystery

Please solve this mystery if you can...

On September 23rd, traffic to Portal:James Bond doubled, and has stayed at the new level since then. I can't figure out what happened.

See http://stats.grok.se/en/201109/Portal%3AJames_Bond

Traffic to Outline of James Bond stayed the same (though it was at the higher-level already), which leads me to suspect changes made somewhere in Wikipedia.

See http://stats.grok.se/en/201109/Outline%20of%20James_Bond

I'd like to find out what happened, in case it reveals helpful link placement tips that can double the traffic to outlines too!

I look forward to your reply on my talk page. The Transhumanist 23:22, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

Any ideas? So far, nobody has been able to figure it out. I gauged the number of people I sent my request to based on the difficulty of the problem. Where should I look to find the increases in traffic? I gazed at "What links here", and there are a lot, but is there any way to easily tell how old those links are? Any ideas you can come up with on solving this mystery would be most appreciated.
Aside from the mystery, I'm interested in improving the availability of outlines (measured in traffic). Any tips you can provide would be helpful. The Transhumanist 00:45, 6 October 2011 (UTC)

thanks for your help.

I just wanted to say thanks for the time you put into designing and planning kudubot4. I am sorry that you spent time that was not productive, but I'm also very grateful. I look forward to working with you again, Cliff (talk) 06:01, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
