Hello KyleVietnam. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Rikkeisoft, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. I live in the area close to the company and was asked by my neighbor, if I wanted to try. I am not being paid. I don't like revealing personal information because it triggers my anxiety. Put my article back up please. I worked very hard on it. Lapablo

Hi KyleVietnam, I saw the conversation on Oshwah's talk page and looked at the Rikkeisoft article. I am sorry it got moved to the draft space and that it's making you anxious. I'm afraid it's very hard to write articles about companies without their seeming promotional to many Wikipedia editors: the company needs to be large and preferably have won awards in order to satisfy notability requirements, but detailing both of those easily looks like promoting the company. I can't edit the article because I can't read the sources, but maybe I can give some useful advice. The best solution in my experience is a combination of two things. One is to be as dry and uninteresting as possible in the wording—for example, rather than "The very same year", "Also in 2019", and I find it helps to keep the introduction as short as possible, with all the details and the references in the body of the article, so I would put both the name explanation and the Japan Best Venture 100 in History, leaving an intro that would be simply something like "Rikkeisoft is a Vietnamese software company, one of the largest in the country. Founded in 2012, it is headquartered in Hanoi and in addition to Vietnam, has branch offices in Japan." The other is to demonstrate that the company has been written about in a number of different reliable sources on a number of different dates. That means you need the dates of publication as well as the dates of access, and always use either the website= (or work=, or newspaper=) parameter or the publisher= parameter; for example, the first reference, on the name, was published by Ritsumeikan University, right? You should also give the reporter's name where there is one on a newspaper article, and I suggest if any reference is to a press release, be open about it and put type=press release. These details help show how many of your references are independent of the company, and that the company has been written about over a span of time and not just because it paid an agency to get it publicity one year. (It is also a good idea, if you can, to use both the title= parameter (for the actual title in Vietnamese or Japanese) and the trans-title= parameter, to insert an English translation of the title)).

I assume Lapablo moved the article to draft as part of new page patrolling, even though the page had been up since April 6. Maybe after some changes they will move it back. I'm thinking you will also get advice from Oshwah. But my advice would be, make what changes you think best and then put it up for review via Articles for Creation by clicking the blue box. There will then be a wait, but eventually an AfC reviewer will evaluate it and if they don't move it back to mainspace, will give you advice on how to improve it. The advantage of AfC is that there are many reviewers, so you get a fresh eye on the issue.

Of course, now that I've slowly typed all of this on my laptop, someone may have already reverted the move. But if not, thank you for the article, yes, we do need more on major Vietnamese companies, and I hope it is soon moved back. Yngvadottir (talk) 20:17, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

I'll be sure to try and edit it to conform more to Wikipedia's standards. Unfortunately these days I am busy (schools have just opened back up, so I am even working on weekends now), but I will be sure to fit in more dry language and make the citations more detailed.

• KyleVietnam, I got the editor to change the type of decline on the article to one where you have a button to resubmit it. THe decline still states that the topic is unsuitable for the encyclopedia; I obviously disagree, and have edited it a bit myself. One of the people from the Teahouse had already edited it. It's up to you whether you resubmit it, but I don't think it can hurt. If you have any other edits to make, including fixing any error I made, then do that first.
