Hi, Vivian
editWow, what a lot of cyber nonsense you seem to have gotten through to post this entry! (Or maybe I just do not understand all this stuff and am too impatient!)
Thank you for entering this article. I'd love to know more about it - please do add to it, if you have the time. Do you know anything more of the history?
In the meantime, I hope you won't be discouraged in the least by any even semi-negative message you get - when I read the history of your page, I said, "What a bunch of dorks, honestly!" —Preceding unsigned comment added by IngaRea (talk • contribs) 05:47, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:1 (Medium).JPG
editThanks for uploading Image:1 (Medium).JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 09:04, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Anna Flyover.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Anna Flyover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 13:58, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:100 2507.jpg
editThank you for uploading Image:100 2507.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 19:35, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of நங்கமங்களம்
editA tag has been placed on நங்கமங்களம், requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g1.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Gscshoyru 14:09, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Notability of Rita Gunasekaran
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Rita Gunasekaran, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Rita Gunasekaran seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Rita Gunasekaran, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Changes to Indian Christianity Wikiproject/workgroup
editUpon discussion and consensus ( see here) , The following changes and decisions were taken w.r.t to Indian Christianity workgroup :-
- The scope of workgroup will be limited to Indian region only for now.
- The workgroup will be renamed to Christianity in India instead of Indian Christianity.
- The changes will effect the project pages, Portal and the templates.
- The templetes will be replaced by a Indian map instead of Tricolor flag picture.
This is FYI - Tinucherian (talk) 04:46, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Hello L.vivian.richard!
You are cordially invited to participate in WikiProject Christianity
The goal of WikiProject Christianity is to improve the quality and quantity of information about Christianity available on Wikipedia. WP:X as a group does not prefer any particular tradition or denominination of Christianity, but prefers that all Christian traditions are fairly and accurately represented. |
You are receiving this invitation because you are a member of one of the related Christianity Projects and I thought that you might be interested in this project also - Tinucherian (talk) 06:27, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Tamil Nadu
editHi, I was trying to focus on the subject by trying to point to you about a valid argument of not having multiple pictures from one region in an article. Please refrain fron attacking the editors (No personal attacks) instead of focusing on the content. I have to admit that I didnt notice that there are three pictures from kanyakumari as well.Besides, I am not the who posted the picture, I am just defending its position when you tried to delete it. editAn image or media file that you uploaded or altered, File:27072007183.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. You may have noticed from my Userpage that I have concentrated my Wikipedia editing on Protected Areas of Tamil Nadu. I have generally avoided Tamil Nadu, but have just started Tamil Nadu#Environmentalism.
- I have recently developed comprehensive Lists of Environmental Organizations and Resource Persons in Tamil Nadu which other editors objected to as a stand alone article. Please see: User_talk:Singularity42#Tamil_Nadu.23Environmentalism and Talk:Environment_of_India.
- Some have suggested that it be merged with Environment_of_India#Tamil_Nadu, but I think it would be best added to Tamil_Nadu#Environmentalism.
I wanted your suggestions on this, especially the best way to fit the sortable tables into Tamil_Nadu#Environmentalism. What do you think? Marcus334 (talk) 21:45, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
editHello L.vivian.richard! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 3 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

editThank you for uploading File:Vadapalani bus terminus.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:48, 15 April 2011 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Speedy deletion nomination of File:DSC00879vvnct.jpg
editA tag has been placed on File:DSC00879vvnct.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
