March 2016
edit. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at March 2016 Istanbul bombing, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Liesbeth98T 17:12, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
I see you have nominated a couple redirects at WP:RFD. Could you please go back and explain why you have nominated them and the action you are recommending (eg: delete, redirect somewhere else). Nominations without any explanation are typically speedily closed as "keep," and I'd like to prevent that if possible. Thank you for your understanding. -- Tavix (talk) 01:22, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
Speedy
editWhack! You've been whacked with a wet trout. Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly. |
Anyone except the page creator can contest a speedy nomination, particularly such an ill-considered one as this. Please exercise more care in the future. VQuakr (talk) 16:02, 24 March 2016 (UTC)
Major League Fishing
editThe author of the page Major League Fishing which you tagged has stated on my talk page] that he works for MLF. I thinks this adds weight to your COI statement. Cheers! Ellin Beltz (talk) 16:54, 24 March 2016 (UTC)
- I've edited the PROD template to reflect this and gave the affected user some information how to proceed, Thanks. Laber□T 17:14, 24 March 2016 (UTC)
No content...
edit... is for articles with literally no content. Or just a link or something to that effect. If it actually somewhat explains what it is, then it's not no content (and it's not no context either). No content and no context are ridiculously low bars - if you can figure out what it is (without going to external links) it's almost certainly neither of those. Citation style
editCould you elaborate what about the citation style that you find unusual? Ferrofield (talk) 02:29, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
- Of course, yes. Basically, you use the same citation many times in a row and write the page number as a comment. Comments are only displayed if someone edits the article or views its source. If somebody just views the page, there is no indication that comments are hidden somewhere in the article (that's the point of them, that they are completely invisible except in the editor). You might want to read the Manual of Style on notes and references. If that doesn't help, I could also edit the article for you to get the information from the comments into the citations. Laber□T 04:13, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
- The problem is that there's one parameter to specify a page in a document but making a whole new reference with parameters for each new statement that is referenced would turn the whole article into a pile of references. And the other aspect is that page references within a document is really mostly useful for people that edits and want to check the source and not wade through all pages. The reason for using the same reference many times in a row is because there's many specific technical statements and there needs to be a way to nail exactly where the data came from. One inconsistency in the documents I found is that the technical document specify a roll length of 9 meters but the brochure specify 8.5 meters. The wisdom I used was that the marketing people are usually wrong. Ferrofield (talk) 04:53, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
Just so you know...
editIn general articles about villages that appear in official government documentation are kept regardless of other sources since they're considered almost inherently notable. Appable (talk) 04:16, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
AIV
editHey, AIV is only for vandalism in progress. Your report was regarding a user that last edited in Feb. As blocks are preventative, and not punitive - we really can't block an IP now for things that they did months ago... It might not even be the same person behind that IP anymore. Protection....
editWas solls denn sein? Create protection wäre voll, dann könntest Du auch nicht ran, oder semi-protection? Cheers. Lectonar (talk) 16:53, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- Semi, will keinem Admin Arbeit machen wenn ich wieder eine Seite erstellen will. --Laber□T 16:54, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
--Laber□T 17:50, 29 March 2016 (UTC)

Rollback granted
editHi Laberkiste. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! — MusikAnimal talk 19:29, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
I note your comment on my talk page, but Lists of international goals have long been deprecated on Wikipedia. See the discussion here. I have therefore reverted yoyur edit. 92.26.170.223 (talk) 07:27, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, there are a lot of page blanking vandals here, if you remove large portions of text please write in the edit summary why, otherwise it might be mistaken. Thank you. --Laber□T 09:12, 31 March 2016 (UTC)

Michael Mehaffy wikipedia page
editHello Laber,
I noticed your warning on Michael Mehaffy's wikipage, which I prepared. I have no conflict of interest in this, nor am I being paid by anyone to do it. As one of Christopher Alexander's collaborators along with Michael Mehaffy, I feel I'm in the best position to write this page. If you can find someone else with the knowledge of both Mehaffy's and Alexander's work, then fine, let them do it. There are no superfluous or self-serving links of any kind that point back to my own work or pages, so I can't see any benefit here for me personally -- it is all useful information to those who wish to follow the most recent developments of Alexander's work. List of Argentine Primera División broadcasters
editHi. I am Sorry but I forgot say why I edited the page. Someone was edited the page with false information. There are some channels that not broadcasts the competition. Please, remove the false information again. Thank you.--190.18.251.154 (talk) 20:51, 31 March 2016 (UTC) done.--Laber□T 20:51, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
Mark Z. Danielewski Rollback
editHi Laberkiste! I'm new to Wikipedia so I'm not sure how this works, but I'm just wondering about the reason for your rollback on the MZD page. I understand if I'm not allowed to change "House" to blue, but I thought all of my other edits were cited correctly, and I spent a lot of time researching those changes, so it was kind of disheartening to see all of that work go to waste. I'm hoping you might consider undoing those rollbacks, or at least explaining what I did wrong! Tarzanzaliar (talk) 23:40, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
