LeapTorchGear
Welcome!
editHello, LeapTorchGear, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Draft:Center for International Private Enterprise, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

- @Drmies: No, I don't have a conflict of interest regarding that article. It just looked interesting. Please let me know if you think there is anything wrong with the article. LeapTorchGear (talk) 16:32, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- Oh, there's all kinds of things wrong with the article, as the tags clearly indicate. I'm wondering how you came across it, why you thought it would be a good idea to submit it, why you didn't think anything of the tags, and whether you have any relation to User:Alex shifrin. User:MrsSnoozyTurtle, this concerns a draft that you twice (and correctly) moved back into draft space. Drmies (talk) 17:09, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hello Drmies. Thank you for the ping. I am no longer involved in WikiProject Spam, but I appreciate you making the effort nonetheless. All the best, MrsSnoozyTurtle 02:29, 9 September 2023 (UTC)

Declining articles
editHi LeapTorchGear,
Please refrain from adding declined AFC template to articles as only AFC reviewers can decline or approve articles. Jamiebuba (talk) 03:44, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
Your logic
editI wonder what brings here to ask me about the Draft:Yang Maosou with the comment "If you are not comfortable dealing with Chinese-language references, even using Google translate, you should probably not evaluate drafts dealing with China."
with this diif. Do you unde4rstand that you have added all offline citations without identifiers? No page numbers, no accessible method(supporting one) and you want it to be accepted?
You claimed you didn't create the article. Then what your concern? What is your relation with @Zangxuangao as you both have similar citation styles?? Twinkle1990 (talk) 15:13, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Twinkle1990:. You should read Wikipedia:Offline sources, which says:
Wikipedia's reliable sources guideline states that articles should be sourced with reliable, third-party, published sources. Even though Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia, there is no distinction between using online versus offline sources. While many editors use online sources, such as websites and online journals, many great sources are only available offline in printed books and paper journals. Don't let the fact that a printed book or journal is not available online scare you away from using them as a source in Wikipedia. Likewise, do not remove cited material merely because it is from an offline source.
In summary, offline sources are fine, and my comments are consistent with Wikipedia policy. You may want to ask for help at Wikipedia:Teahouse if this is unclear, but until you do, you should probably not evaluate drafts. LeapTorchGear (talk) 21:19, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Twinkle1990:. Never mind. The article already exists in articlespace at Yang Maosou, with a creation date of October 2023. And Zangxuangao (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) really isn't me. LeapTorchGear (talk) 21:35, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
