Hi there LegoKTM can you help any further with my article? Gairderek (talk) 13:00, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
Hello,
I made my best effort to edit the page ActoGeniX as requested. But the warning messages stays. I deleted several sentences, and changed the wording. I can truly confirm that Actogenix have been published in reliable scientific sources, see below the page.
Can you help me / guide me to make it better?
Thank you

My submission is: Solomon Isaakovich Pekar. I tried my best by going across your websites. My submission has been rejected by several reviewers. I cannot understand what is wrong. What does not fit the Wiki criteria? If there are any specific critical suggestions, I would be happy to follow the guidelines. Without them, I don't see what can I really do. Erashba (talk) 13:36, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
Rejection of Nexon article
I am unclear on the grounds for rejection. There are thousands of academic biographies on wikipedia with less justification for notability than this page, which includes links to 3rd party sources for awards, recognition, and media references. Lee scoresby pilot (talk) 21:05, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
Solomon Isaakovich Pekar
I have submitted a page "Solomon Isaakovich Pekar". I have tried to follow Wiki requirements. The page has been rejected by several reviewers. I could not figure out what is wrong. I would highly appreciate receiving specific criticism. This would allow me making appropriate changes. Thank you.--Erashba (talk) 23:33, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
re: Strasburger & Price, LLP
Hi LegoK,
I've attempted to add a Wikipedia entry on this subject over the course of a year now (maybe longer). Each time I was declined because the reviewer said the content was essentially not notable enough. However, law firms of Strasburger's size and stature (and debateably less significant) have entries on Wikipedia. Strasburger is even recognized on Wikipedia's list of largest law firms in the U.S, which (in an attorney's mind) sets a precedent that it is in fact a notable organization (see [[1]]).
I've made a variety of changes to establish the notability of Strasburger using verifiable and respected sources, one of which directly quoted in the entry so as to ensure the entry's tone is impartial and separated from that of the quote. I've also referred to other law firm's Wikipedia profiles as benchmarks from which to write an entry that is neutral and factual. As I'm comparing these entries, I'm somewhat at a loss in terms of what to do next.
Strasburger is more than just a law firm - it's a historic institution in the Dallas legal community that has withstood over 70 years of practice and contentious matters. (See the note about Tom Unis. He is a local hero in terms of segregating Dallas schools, which he achieved through Strasburger. In fact, that particular case went on for 20 years and is very well-known locally.) As someone within this community, I can assure you anecdotally that this law firm has cultural and legal significance and consequently deserves an online place in history on Wikipedia along with its peers. I've done the best I could to support this with objective information that is available online and also via the ISBN agency.
If there is any specific advice you can offer so as to facilitate the inclusion of this article, I would be sincerely, sincerely grateful. Even it's to delete a specific phrase, section, etc. I will do as commanded.
I thank you and appreciate you for your time and guidance.
Best, MeredithMeredithshafer (talk) 21:15, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Legobot not indexing my archive
Hi Lego
The old HBC indexer bot used to index my talk page archive, which I found very useful. I see that Legobot has now taken over the job, which is great ... but User talk:BrownHairedGirl/Archive/Index has mot been indexed since HBC indexer did it on 27th June.
I have checked my configuration, and it has not changed in that time. Do you have any idea what might be going wrong? --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 13:20, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. I believe it was caused due to the fact that your archive was listed in the template as "./Archive/Index", which my bot wasn't able to handle. I've fixed that, and am currently updating the database to reflect that. Afterwards I'll have manually have the bot index your talk page. Thanks, LegoKontribsTalkM 16:44, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks very much! That's very kind of you ... and sorry if my config was non-standard. I am fairly sure that I had copied that aspect of my config from one of the instructions pages, so if you can make it handles oddities like mine, I think that there may be more archives which can benefit. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 20:15, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- So it seems Legobot only detected up to archive 009. I'm looking into why it didn't find 010. LegoKontribsTalkM 01:58, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
- fixed. Your index should update automatically now. And thanks for helping me squash two different bugs LegoKontribsTalkM 02:07, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

I have submitted a page Solomon Isaakovich Pekar, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Erashba&diff=next&oldid=511117789 It has been rejected by several editors as "essay" without any specifics. What is wrong. What Wiki might wish to be added? I spoke with TParis who promised to make a note and to ask for an additional review. I have not heard from Wiki since then. What else can I do? --Erashba (talk) 23:02, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Bot bug
Hello, your bot is tagging sandboxes for speedy deletion as redirects to nothing. While it is true that they are pointless, I don't think G8 covers the userspace. Thanks! Reaper Eternal (talk) 00:02, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know about that. I've excluded all pages in the User and User talk namespaces. It should exclude any other namespaces let me know. Thanks, LegoKontribsTalkM 01:56, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
Broken redirect bot
Just curious: do you have any news on the proposal of having a bot to mark broken redirects? I've never gotten any feedback at all on the {{db-redirnonebot}} template, so you might as well use it if you have the script ready to go otherwise. Nyttend (talk) 21:54, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for reminding me about that, I'll file a BRFA for that in the next few days. LegoKontribsTalkM 22:02, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the work! Seeing that the trial was approved, I looked at some deleted contributions, and I'm confident that this is doing what I hoped to see. Nyttend (talk) 04:40, 18 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi Legoktm. I'm leaving you this message because you have previously been involved as an adopter with Wikipedia's Adopt-a-user program. A clean-up of this program is currently underway, and as part of the process I am trying to find out who is and isn't still interested in remaining an adopter.
If you would prefer not to be part of the adoption program anymore, you need do nothing; when the overhaul of the project is completed your name will be removed from the list of active adopters. However, if you have current adoptees, an active adoption school or an interest in adopting in the near future, then please let us know by signing here.
If you want to remain in the project and can currently take on more adoptees, there is a serious backlog at Category:Wikipedians seeking to be adopted in Adopt-a-user; it would be enormously helpful if you could take on one or two of the users there. Please do keep an eye on the project for upcoming changes, we could use your opinions and your help! Yunshui 雲水 09:08, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Reply to Power Shift
Hi Lego,
Thank you for your recent message. I am new to Wikipedia, as you may have noticed, so I would like to answer a couple of points you politely raised in a message to me earlier today.
I can assure you that this username is only used by myself. There are a few IP addresses noted with the username, however this is only because I do not own my own computer and often use libraries and friends' computers to make edits. Whilst I am excited about the New Zealand Power Shift event, I do not officially represent it. I have some minor experience writing hard-copy articles and will always do my utmost to ensure the text I submit is neutral.
I would like to say thank you for your feedback though, it is always nice to receive a welcome message and I can see that you are being helpful. I may well take you up on your proof-reading offer in the future. My RL name is Will if you prefer to use this.
WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up)
Hello, you are receiving this message because you are currently a participant of WikiProject Good articles. Since the creation of the WikiProject, over 200 user's have joined to help review good article nominations and contribute to other sections of the WikiProject. Over the years, several of these users have stopped reviewing articles and/or have become inactive with the project but are still listed as participates. In order to improve communications with other participants and get newsletters sent out faster (newsletters will begin to be sent out monthly starting in October) all participants that are no longer active with the WikiProject will be removed from the participants list.
If you are still interested in being a participant for this WikiProject, please sign your user name here and please help review some articles so we can reduce the size of the backlog. If you are no longer interested, you do not need to sign your name anywhere and your name will be removed from the participants list after the deadline. Remember that even if you are not interested at this time, you can always re-add your name to the list whenever you want. The deadline to sign your name on the page above will be November 1, 2012. Thank-you. 13:29, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
Update for: WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up)
Sorry for having to send out a second message but a user has brought to my attention that a point mentioned in the first message should be clarified. If user's don't sign on this page, they will be moved to an "Inactive Participants" list rather then be being removed from the entire WikiProject. Sorry for any confusion.--Dom497 (talk)15:19, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
If I cannot leave this link on this page, is there anyway to remove the name of the person from this site ? This is about about the email hacking of Palin. Under your own guidelines pages should not be about individuals who have one incident.
Is there any where to put the court documents up on Wiki ?Constitutionguard (talk) 03:32, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Articles for Creation is desperately short of reviewers! We are looking for urgent help, from experienced editors, in reviewing submissions in the pending submissions queue. Currently there are 1357 submissions waiting to be reviewed and many help requests at our Help Desk.
If the answer to these questions is yes, then please read the reviewing instructions and donate a little of your time to helping tackle the backlog. You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions.

Hello there! I just made my first article today, Julie Klassen, and you marked several things wrong with it. I was wondering if you would tell me where the problems are so that I may fix them? Also, how the notes at the top of the page might go away? I am a fan, but I tried to keep it neutral and just used information I could cite. Thanks again for the LegoBot work with this template. I just noticed your conversation with Gogo Dodo on the bot's talk page regarding the deletion rationale — earlier I had noticed this problem as well, and I fixed it (eventually; it took several edits to get it right) so that it automatically provides the deletion rationale. Hello,
Thanks for letting me know about the problems with the Roya Mahboob article I wrote. I made a lot of changes (described in the edit summary) and I think it should be okay now.

AfDs
Probably Mauro Mellano was notable both under WP:AUTHOR and WP:PROF. But in any case it wouldn't fall under A7 , because asserting that someone wrote a book (other than a self published book) is an indication of possible importance, as is that someone was a professor at a famous university, and a good faith indication like that is all it takes to pass speedy. It's deliberately set as a very low bar, less than notability. I wouldn't suggest AfD, because the odds are very high it will stand. DGG ( talk ) 04:49, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
I see another admin declined the deletion of Tyrell Crowell. As a HS player with only city -level awards I doubt very much he was notable, but the article was a good faith indication of possible importance. I think it won't survive AfD, but someone will probably argue for notability on the basis of the GNG, and the community will decide what to do about it when you nominate it, as you should.
For AIESEC Aarhus, I deleted it as promotional. I think as a major european student association it might be notable, and I sometimes rewrite articles like this, but this one would have needed complete rewriting --even if it is not a copy or translation of their web site. Ebankbooks i deleted--it's a classic advertisement.
On the other hand, Azad University Tehran medical Branch just needed some excision. It also needs rewriting into English. I made a start, but it needs much more work. As all med schools are considered notable, there's no point trying to delete it--such articles can at worst always be stubbified. And another admin similarly decided to fix Avigilon.
The author deprodded Candybuffet, as is his right for a Prod. It sounds very unlikely, but it does have sources. I can't guess what we'll do with it in the end. Id be tempted just to tag it for the needed improvements and look in a few months.
I know you've been here doing this a long while, but it's easy to drift from the guidelines when trying to cope with all the unsatisfactory or barely satisfactory articles we are getting. I re-read CSD and Deletion Policy every month or so, because I know I drift also, and this is why I've always said no admins should be doing deletions single-handed without somebody else checking. The normal level you should aim for in speedies is considered 90% accuracy. Some say 95% , but with some types of promotional articles it's hard to do that well, because the standard depends upon interpretation. But for A7, 95% is an achievable goal. For prods, such a numerical standard does not work well, because the goal after all is to get them fixed so they do not have to be deleted, so the ideal is that everything you nominate gets the necessary improvement. DGG ( talk ) 05:11, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking the time to write all of that. I think I will go re-read the relevant policies since I haven't for a while. LegoKontribsTalkM 06:05, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
