iTunes

For some obscure reason, Linkin Park's song, New Divide has rapidly made it's way back into the top ten holding the number-two spot pushing Paparazzi back down to number-three. It must be the Transformers 2 movie since "New Divide" is the theme song. On my iTunes, I have enabled a popularity meter so that I can tell how far the songs are apart from one another in sales. I Gotta Feeling is leading by quiet a lot but Gaga and Linkin Park are fairly tied. • вяαdcяochat 06:34, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Apparently, the physical CD single that will be released here may be an import from the UK according to the Big W source currently used on the article. It is claimed to be the UK 2-TRACK SINGLE. It was originally scheduled for July 20 but the release was moved forward to July 13 which is about a week after the UK. I believe it should be earlier. Hopefully the novelty of the song won't wear off in a couple weeks time. • вяαdcяochat 06:51, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Yes. I very well indeed remember that song. It was a big hit a couple of years back. I actually like your sandbox version better than the actual article itself. Good job. When are you intending to include your content in the real article? • вяαdcяochat 07:04, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
So am I. I found out right after I left home this morning. I was shocked. Who was to think all this would happen in such a short time frame. Poor MJ. • вяαdcяochat 05:55, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
So sad really. I was supposed to visit his concerts in July. Well, in Gaga news looks like "LoveGame" is really underperforming everywhere. On the Billboard Hot 100 it went down 1 place to 6, on Hot Dance Airplay it rapidly went down from 4 to 8, on Dutch Top 40 went down from 5 to 11. Really bad. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:08, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Wow. You must be really bummed. You would of seen him in London at 02 Arena. That would of been amazing! Anyway, it is rather odd how LoveGame is falling everywhere. I've got bigger hopes on Paparazzi though. • вяαdcяochat 06:10, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Even Im also keeping my fingers crossed for Paparazzi. I hope it changes everything. In Oz it needs to replace the Black Eyed Peas. They should release the single now. I hope that by the time the single releases, the momentum doesnot fizz like it did with LoveGame (however I think banning the music video also had this impact). Paparazzi should do what LoveGame failed, give her 3 no. 1s. By the way Hung Up is completed. Check it out!! Its one of my best creations. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:15, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
You have done an amazing job on improving the article. It looks a thousand times better than what it was. What tunes or artists are you loving at the moment? I am really digging tracks from new UK artist, Tinchy Stryder. He had a song #1 on the UK charts in April titled "Number 1" funny enough. Now he has his thrid single called "Never Leave You" which is just as good. • вяαdcяochat 06:34, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

(Outdent)At present im caught in a little retro mood, listening to "Thriller", "Hung Up" and "ABBA". Amongst the newbies, I love Keri Hilson's "Knock You Down", still loving Taylor Swift's "Love Story" and of course Gaga is always there. I still haven't listened to "I Gotta Feeling" and Mariah's new track "Obsessed". --Legolas (talk2me) 06:38, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Cool. Hung Up samples one of ABBA's songs doesn't it? I love "Knock You Down" aswel. It's only got to #28 on the ARIA Charts. I hope sales increase. When you get the time, I strongly recommend listening to "I Gotta Feeling" as it is a great song. Not as annoying as "Boom Boom Pow" lol. • вяαdcяochat 06:42, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
iTunes news: Thriller by MJ has peaked at #24 and 10 of his albums are in the Top 30. Also, a whole load of his other songs are within the top 100. They may re-enter the ARIA Charts after what, 25 years or so? Wow. Since his death, people have been downloading like crazy! • вяαdcяochat 09:44, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Well, I have seen older songs re enter the top 50 singles usually due to promotion or current events regarding the artist but never have a seen a song from 20 or so years ago chart again. On the UK Singles, Man In The Mirror charted at #11 this week. On iTunes, Man In The Mirror is #1 in the UK and # 10 in Australia. Also on the Australian iTunes, Black or White is at #8 and Thriller is at #11. There are also many other singles by MJ scattered throughout the top 100 many within the top 30. Pratically half of the iTunes Australia top songs is MJ. • вяαdcяochat 09:28, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
I hope this doesnot compromise Gaga's position in the chart. This week she held on the #3 spot. But what is her and BEP's positions in iTunes? Has the physical CD for IGAF been released? --Legolas (talk2me) 09:33, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
It shouldn't disadventage Paparazzi. It's five places ahead of Black and White at number 3. I Gotta Feeling is still at number 1. Funny enough, there has actually been no physical or digital release of I Gotta Feeling. People worldwide have just been downloading the song individually from The E.N.D album. • вяαdcяochat 09:38, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

(Outdent)Good. I fear for PAparazzi still. And i listened to IGAF, sorry Brad, I didnt like it at all. There is no spunk at all which is commonly associated with BEP music. And yeahhh "4 Minutes" passed its GA review. --Legolas (talk2me) 09:40, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Ah, thats ok. Like all songs, your either going to love it or hate it. I enjoy it because it's a real feel-good club banger like what I felt towards Just Dance this time last year. Good news with 4 Minutes. Unfortunately, the Lady Gaga bio page was nominated once again. Will the nominator ever learn? He is going to be blocked once again with his fiesty attitude. • вяαdcяochat 09:50, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
And I hope that the nomination fails. That will teach him a lesson when the community will blame his hasty attitude. Don't worry, since he also started making snarky remarks, I have brought up this issue in WP:GAN talk page and also to administraters. It seems that he cannot really change his attitude. I believe a block is coming. PS I belive that Paparazzi will still be at 3 this week also, although in UK it moved to 4, yayyy. LoveGame is on track to become the third Pop #1 for Gaga. I believe only two females have been able to do that ever. Mariah and Christina. --Legolas (talk2me) 10:01, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Good to know that the admins should take care of any issues which is fantastic. Anyway, like yourself, I am keeping my fingers crossed for LoveGame and Paparazzi to peak higher. I think Paparazzi is batteling a little with the Black Eyed Peas and Linkin Park in Australia but in the UK, I think it will have no problems. • вяαdcяochat 10:07, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
I think in Oz "LoveGame" is dead meat now. In US "LoveGame" is fighting with Boom Boom Pow, IGAF, Keri's Knock you Down and Drake's Best I Ever Had, hence it is a little stuck at #5. Hope airplay pushes it higher and higher. You can check pulsemusic for a day to day update on LoveGame. --Legolas (talk2me) 10:15, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. LoveGame was at #28 on ARIA this week. Thanks for that site. • вяαdcяochat 10:30, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Hung Up

I've given the prose a copy edit, but I haven't finished with the article yet (need to look at sources). Regarding the lead, since the article is quite big, four paragraphs would be more appropriate. I suggest one paragraph for the background/release/music structure/lyrics, one paragraph for the critical/commercial info, one paragraph for the video and one paragraph for the live info. — Please comment R2 16:17, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

OK, the references are good, although I'm not overly keen on the usage of Discogs.com ... — Please comment R2 16:31, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Looks ok to me. Any minor issues you can probably take care of during the GAN. The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 22:53, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

sorry

ok

excuse me but im not sockpuppetry u block my other account forever ok so then u will be reported for unessicary blocking and editing a u get it trouble so leave my page alone.

Eh? Lady Gaga Singles

Why'd you revert teh changes to her singles? Putting the certifications in the same table along with the titles makes it look really unpleasant to the eye. Lady Gaga (along with Rihanna) is one of the only artists who doesn't have a separate certifications and Singles section. I'm not trying to down you or anything, but i just don't see the reasoning. Impracticable (talk) 16:38, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Gaga

i was to add the Fame Part one prior to the disscusion that is why videography was the chosen heading. I agree with the fame ball thing. An I told you I would get it to the GA. MJs death shocking, I almost cried. I hear alot of jokes and rumours and a tribute tour to cover the Uk dates and possibly a world onw with JT, Madge and hopefully Gaga. --Officially I am not Cloverfield Monsta I need help with this 08:37, 29 June 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cloverfield Monsta (talkcontribs)

Re: Your favorite user

Legolas, please post a sockpuppet investigation for this and ask for a checkuser on the matter. Be sure to mention User:Dance-pop's original account as well as the others he's used. You're right, this account does look very similar, but I'd prefer to be absolutely sure. If we get a checkuser to look into things, we may also be able to look into the possibility of a rangeblock as well. Thanks. Hersfold (t/a/c) 23:50, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

I will do that. PS how have you been? Me personally a little sad that MJ passed away. And.... Dance-pop is not my FAVOURITE user!! Grrrrr. :) --Legolas (talk2me) 03:41, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Legolas, I have now made comment on the SPI page for the user. • вяαdcяochat 06:08, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Ya I saw that. Checkuser and admins will now take care of that. BTW how is iTunes shaping up? Is there any chance that LoveGame and Eh Eh can receive a platinum certification in Oz? And do you know of any reliable source where we can get actual sales figure for Gaga's Oz singles? --Legolas (talk2me) 06:18, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Unfortunately, I don't think it is possible to find the actual sales figures for each single or album. They only let you know <G> 35, 000+, <P> 70,000+ or if a song sells over double <p> then it will be 2X<P> and so on. Oh and there is not much change on iTunes. Paparazzi is still sitting there like a rock. • вяαdcяochat 06:30, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Hmmm. Unfortunately it went down to 5 in UK. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:38, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, i've seen it. He actually had more sockpuppets than I expected. I bet you he will find his way back though.. • вяαdcяochat 06:03, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Alas! That's why Hersfold proposed a range block for his IP. If you check original Dance-pop's talk page, there the user has said that he has had enough and will continue coming back by changing his IP (which is pretty sinple). Brrrrr! quite fanatic don't you think? --Legolas (talk2me) 06:06, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. He is an expert at managing to get around filters, blocks and what not. To bad for him that he is always caught out. • вяαdcяochat 06:13, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

(Outdent)He he. Though we are not supposed to troll about it, I have to admit he is pretty stupid because its always his editing pattern which gets him blocked. Well leave it, lets go back to business. You saw that the Gaga bio failed GA (which was obvious), but I must advice you not to make comments in GA1 pages regarding other users. I have seen that admins do take notice of those things. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:21, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

I think it was a bad move for myself to mention him in the comment on the GA1 page, however I was just mad because he kept bragging the thought that the article was well ready when it obviously wasn't if you look at the reviewers comments. • вяαdcяochat 06:31, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
We must make our best to comply with the reviewers comments, which by the way I think was marvellous! He simply pointed out so many things that we lacked in the article! --Legolas (talk2me) 06:37, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, I guess that is one positive that we got out of the review. At least it is clear what can improve. • вяαdcяochat 06:44, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm your biggest fan

No it doesn't. The video was made like a movie, and it also has about 8 minutes. The four screenshots are used in one image, so that keeps it to minimal use. Also, your image is included in that four screenshot image, so, if the other image fails, it means your image fails as well. Alecsdaniel (talk) 11:52, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

A combination of four non-free image is a violation of WP:NFCC#3a. Also three of the four images fail WP:NFCC#8 except for my image. Hence my point. Please donot go on adding it. --Legolas (talk2me) 11:55, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
No, they don't. Two of the screenshots show that the video was made like a movie, while the others show your image (which I really think fails, an image of Gaga dead was way better) and a image of her in the prison. Let's continue this conversation in the article's talk page. Alecsdaniel (talk) 11:59, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Deleting Images...

Can you help? I'm guessing you're an administrator so how do I delete images I upload, I think there's quite a few a don't use, is there a file or something?

The comment was not a personal attack against you, I just wandered why you went 3-days in the past and found the other image I uploaded and only commented on that one and no others. You ignored my comment on it, did I not make a valid point about the comparisons' between the two videos? Jayy008 (talk) 14:24, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Vandalism

No problem. I'll keep an eye on the articles whenever I can :) • вяαdcяochat 08:32, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

He he. I think this is kinda getting repeatitive, how many socks does the user have really?? PS If you get time comment on the Paparazzi video image, which one psychotic user nominated just to keep his/her fancruft image. --Legolas (talk2me) 08:36, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
No need to worry though. Another user has already filed a SPI here. I am almost certain it is Dance-pop. I commented on the image up for deletion earlier today obviously voting to keep. The nomination was ridiculous don't you think? Especially the fact that he only intended to nominate it so he/she could replace it with another image which is also up for deletion that does not comply with guidelines unlike the one currently in use for the article. • вяαdcяochat 09:39, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Ahhh. Goody goody. You know I'm really pissed off with all the drama on the Gaga articles. Wheww! Also a little bit scared that I have nominated too many articles at Wikipedia:Good article nominations#Music. Hope all of them will pass. --Legolas (talk2me) 09:52, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it never seems to stop. At least we can easily pick out the sockpuppets and trouble makers anyway. Good luck with your articles passing. Oh, and yeah. I have thought about archiving my talk page but last time I tried about a month or so ago, I moved it to archive 1 and stuffed everything up. I had to request a page move so I could restore everything. Thankfully within a day, an admin came and fixed it. I know how to do it now though I think. You just create "User talk:Bradcro/Archive 1" and cut everything from this page and paste it there? • вяαdcяochat 10:01, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Would you like me to archive it for you? --Legolas (talk2me) 10:03, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes, that would be great thanks! I am such a wiki-dumby. Laughs! • вяαdcяochat 10:06, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for your help. :) • вяαdcяochat 10:25, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Chillin

Please do not delete this post as you did with my last message to you. You continually deleting Chillin is quite clearly going against consensus due to the amount of people on the page opposed to the deletion of this article. I suggest you nominate it at Articles for deletion if you still do not see why what you are doing is a violation of the Wikipedia project. Tikkuy (talk) 13:09, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

I have absolutely right to archive my talkpages whenever I want to. Thats none of your business and I have very clear knowledge of what fails and what not. The Chillin version redirected had absolutely nothing in it except for a music video. However since it has been improved a little to include charts I'll watch it for few days to see if any third party notability comes, else it will be redirected again. --Legolas (talk2me) 03:37, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
I think its safe to keep Chillin for now.... Im guessing since Gaga is involved with it, the song will get some notability in the next few weeks. It is kind of short tho, more should be added definitely. If it doesn't get anywhere besides Bubbling Under in the U.S. and fails to chart elsewhere, then I say nominate it for AfD. - eo (talk) 17:35, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
If you do redirect Chillin once again I will ask an administrator to give you a warning for continually going against consensus. Also, the charts were there before you redirected the page. You do have a right to archive your talkpages but when someone sends you a message about finding a resolution to an issue and you do not respond to it before completely taking it off the page, it is hardly allowing for a solution to be made. Tikkuy (talk) 09:19, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
And yet you say that I'm the one making threats? Please stay away from the Chillin page as all you are doing there is making disruptive and pointless edits. Tikkuy (talk) 06:54, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
That's rich coming from someone who does nothing but continuosly delete other people's contributions. Tikkuy (talk) 10:52, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Paparazzi - iTunes

Hey. Just a quick message that you'd be glad to hear that Paparazzi is back at number-two on the Australian iTunes Store. • вяαdcяochat 08:58, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah. It's getting closer to the Black Eyed Peas. I don't think it has much chance against "I Gotta Feeling" though. It probably won't make it to number one but at least it made it to number two considering sales were only based on digital downloads. As for the user, I am well aware and am keeping an eye out. • вяαdcяochat 09:10, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
I know even in US its blocking LoveGame from ascending further, however it is climbing rapidly in Airplay. Paparazzi CD needs to be released to Australia this week hence the chance of #1 will be gone. The user is continuously inserting fancruft in the Chillin page. By the way have you heard that song? How is it? --Legolas (talk2me) 09:14, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
I have heard it a numerous amount of times and have seen the video. It's not a bad song although Gaga's vocals are rather different from what I am used to. They kinda bare some similarities with M.I.A. • вяαdcяochat 09:21, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Hmmm. Even MTV also says the same thing. Oh I forgot to tell u. Im going to the Sticky & Sweet Tour tonight!!! Yeahhh. --Legolas (talk2me) 09:27, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Wow! You lucky thing. I hope you enjoy Madonna. You will have to tell me about it sometime after you come back. • вяαdcяochat 09:30, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Paparazzi is at #1 at iTunes again. It probably won't get to #1 on ARIA this week but if it can keep this up along with reasonable sales of the CD single, it may top the charts the following week. • вяαdcяochat 05:57, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes, it is released tommorow. It will also be included within this weeks sales as the chart runs from Sunday to Saturday. • вяαdcяochat 06:15, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
It is at #2 on iTunes. By looking at the popularity meter, it is a fraction behind Paparazzi. It's CD single will be released tommorow also which is going to potentially ruin Gaga's chances at #1 but i'm hoping that she can hold the top spot on iTunes. • вяαdcяochat 06:33, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Good news is, the song has been used to promote this weeks episode of the current American series of So You Think You Can Dance broadcast in Australia on Network Ten. I saw the advertisment for the first time today. Perhaps that is why there has been an outburtst of downloads. • вяαdcяochat 08:24, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi

Hi Legolas, yes it's been a while, Im really busy this weeks, I finish the semester in one week and a half. I will try then to comment on the peer review. Ohh and finally someone is creating the Madonna wikiproject, I also will try to help you with "Holiday", altough it seems that you don't need to much help, wow I didn't know you already nominated "Everybody" and "Burning Up", that was fast. Regards. Frcm1988 (talk) 16:42, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Ohh ok. Take your time. In the meantime I'll complete more Madonna articles for GA. --Legolas (talk2me) 14:48, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

re:Chillin

Hey - I'm looking at both edits and it seems its more of a content dispute here. I don't see a lot of cruft being added and both of you are trying to maintain it constructively. Which parts in particular are bothering you or reading too cruft-y? I've left a message on Tikkuy's Talk Page, asking him to please engage in discussion on the article's Talk Page. I'm not going to block anyone at this point, but I'm sure you know that any other admin could swoop in and block you both for 3RR if it keeps going back and forth. - eo (talk) 12:39, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Oh crap, I didn't even notice that the two of you got blocked! Ugh, oh well - you're obviously back and judging from the comments on Tikkuy's Talk Page it seems that he is willing to discuss matters, so hopefully now you can. - eo (talk) 14:52, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Recent revisions

Hey there. I wanted to inform you that their were a number of recent revisions poorly sourced or perhaps unsourced content regarding "Boys Boys Boys" as the next single and Gaga being a hermaphrodite. I have reverted both edits. There has also been an article created for "Boys Boys Boys" which I have redirected to the "The Fame" album page. I just noticed that you have been blocked which is completely unjustified as you were editing under guidelines and reverting for more than a reasonable purpose. By the way, how was the Sticky&Sweat tour? You must of had a ball! • вяαdcяochat 07:28, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Glad to see that you had such an amazing time during the live show! I'm afraid I won't be able to join the Madonna WikiProject though as I am not a regular editor of pages regarding so. I'm really sorry. Also, I noticed you reverted an edit by a user making change to the Australian Paparazzi release date. Whether the source is deemed reliable or not, I am unsure however Sanity is one of the largest music retailers in Australia. Personally, I think it should be modified to July 10 but it's up to you. You have better experience with sources than I have. • вяαdcяochat 06:07, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Actually the reason Sanity is considered unreliable is the website is run by a few youngsters who update dates and timings as they want. Its a similar case like Digital Spy which is now deemed unreliable. The source is not bad, just that its unreliable. And yeahh... the tour was fantastic. But I missed MJ's funeral. Also kudos to you for fighting off that vandal on that "Hermaphrodite" thing. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:22, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
I missed the funeral on television aswel but I didn't bother as it was broadcast at 3:00am Australian EST time. I have found another source regarding the same release date. Would this source here cut it? • вяαdcяochat 06:28, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. It will be perfect. You can add it. Musicshop.au is quite reliable. --Legolas (talk2me) 07:13, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Done. • вяαdcяochat 07:22, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Hung Up

Hey Legolas, how you doin'? I haven't started the review yet, cause I'm reviewing an article like right now. Don't worry, I'll promise you that I'll have the review done by today. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 14:56, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

That's good to know. Yeah, I've seen you working like crazy on Lady Gaga and Madonna songs. Keep up the good work, man. :) Oh, those GAs. I've been trying to make those GAs be FAs. So far, I've only succeeded with two. Yeah, I've become bored and just want to work on something. That's really the secret to the GAs. ;) I gotta compliment you for all the work you've done with all the song articles you nominated. I was trying to do a "Live performance" section for "My Love" but gave up, cause I had a difficulty with it, so. But, phenomenal job on the Lady Gaga and Madonna song articles. Sure, I guess. But, I haven't really edited a Madonna related article. But, sure. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:07, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Hey, you deserve it. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:21, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, I hope the project does well. Oh, I barely added my name, so, no worries. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:35, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Congratulations, it passed. :) Hey, by any chance do you have "Sorry" on your to-do list? If you do, can I work with you? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:34, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
That's great. Yeah, I was just listening to the song when I was reviewing "Hung Up". Also, its my favorite song from Confessions of a Dance Floor. Anyways, what would you like me to do? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:00, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
I can certainly do that. Alright, after I find some info, do you want me to add it to your sandbox? Yeah, "Hung Up" is also a favorite song of mine. Great album. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 17:35, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

No need to apologize, I know you have a life, so all is cool. :) Sounds great. Okay, I found some info., so check it out... if its good or awful. Also, I didn't have any luck with Madonna talking about the song, maybe you'll have a better luck at it. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 03:28, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, that's basically what I found. I did notice that, too; She did talk a lot more about "Hung Up", "Jump", "Isaac", and "Get Together". I was surprised that there was no mention of "Sorry". For reals? The US banned the song? Oh, snaps! Something new I learned today. Um, I'm not sure it would fit in the Background. For some reason, it just won't mix well. That's me; I'm not a music expert, so. Maybe a second opinion might work. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 03:47, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Wow, who knew the US did that. But, it does make sense, since I don't recall ever hearing it on the radio. We can talk about the remix in the background, that wouldn't be a problem. Well, the music video, no disrespect since you do a great job with them, I don't think we need to say what inspired the video. We can just say that it was directed by so-and-so and give a small detail of what the video shows, you know. Unless, you want to do this article last, and work on the other songs from Confessions. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 04:05, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, I live in the US and I had no idea of this. I know some Madonna songs have been boycotted, but was stunned to learn "Sorry" was one of them. I knew it was the second single, since the video for "Sorry" began playing and I knew that I hadn't seen any recent Madonna video since "Hung Up". Great source. We can definitely add this to the music video section. Good job on finding it. Yeah, essentially. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 04:21, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it has a good chance of passing GA. Quick comments: "...the soundtrack album Who's That Girl of the motion picture of the same name" ---> "...the soundtrack album Who's That Girl of the motion picture of the same name", don't italicize "same name", since its not needed. Throughout the article link "R.E.M.", "Andrew Morton", and "Macmillan" to their correspondence articles. That's what I mainly found. Overall, its good. Great job! --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 14:19, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
I checked it out. All is coming good. The lead is going to get expanded, right? Overall, its looking good. Yay, our first collaboration. :P --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:04, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I'll try to look for them. Due to the fact that I couldn't find anything relating to "Sorry" I didn't bookmark the sites. But, I will search for them. :) Also, the article has been nominated and I added your name first since you did the whole research for the article, so. :P After I find the sites, you wanna work on getting Confessions as a good topic? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:18, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, it only seems fair to add the person who worked on it the most first. Ah, you have an agenda. :) That's good. Okay, I will search the highs and lows for these sources. Also, forgot to tell you, the cover for "Sorry" needs a lower resolution. I found this resolution, not sure if you want to use it. Oh, this is a good source, its MTV, she talks about the songs from Confession. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:36, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Cool. Yeah, when I read it I was like 'oh she talks about the other songs'. But, I'm glad its good. :) You want me to work on the Reception section? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:04, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I read that, too. Sure, I'll try to see what I come up with. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:14, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey, I wasn't able to find anything about the cover art. It only led me back to the song's wiki article. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:00, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, I had an off day yesterday, meaning I didn't do any researching stuff, but I will start today. You can count on that. ;) Oh, really? Was the movie good? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:10, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Alright, I got the reception for both songs. Please, check it out. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 20:29, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Cool, cool. Keep it up! Okay, when you're done with "Borderline" tell me when you're gonna start with GT and Jump, so I can help you out. :) Yup, here's to more GAs. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:05, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Wow, I can't believe Billboard is not working. Um, I tried to replace the links, but the website is down, and I can't do anything. I do have a suggestion; if the online source that's in the article appeared in the magazine, what we could do is replace "cite news" with "cite journal", since it appeared in the magazine and its more efficient that way. However, if that's not the case, then we wait until the Billboard site works. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 17:16, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Alright. Congratulations on "Borderline" and "Burning Up" passing GA. About time, huh? :) Oh, no. The secret is out. Yeah, me and Carpet are cool. Um, like three weeks ago I talked to him on IM and asked him when he was coming back and he said he's not sure. He says that he needs to fix some problems in his personal life, so. I agree, its not the same without him. :( --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 20:23, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Take a look

Hey Stifle, can you take a look at the contributions of ElPilotoDi? Uploaded a number of images failing copyright and license and continuously adding them to the articles when being told not to do so. --Legolas (talk2me) 12:14, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

OK, I'll have a look. Stifle (talk) 12:50, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
I've tagged most of them for various problems. I think a few of your images were caught up in it too. Stifle (talk) 13:41, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Chillin

Hi! Thanks for your message. I'm sorry that we got off on the wrong foot here. As for Chillin, wouldn't DJBooth be alright as a source as long as it's just for a review? I understand that it can't be used for any actual information, but considering it's just a review, I would have thought that being a subjective opinion, it would be allowed. Regarding the YouTube video, thanks for clearing that up, I understand now. I've made a few changes to the article that I'd added originally before you reverted due to the reasons we're discussing now. You didn't say anything about those changes, so I'm assuming that it's alright to keep them.

Thanks! Tikkuy (talk) 14:02, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

The mixtape info I had sourced, but you removed my source for it a while ago. It was Wale's official site, so I'm assuming it's okay to add back in? Oh, and just in passing - have you heard Second Time Around yet? I love it! Tikkuy (talk) 14:17, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh, okay. It was leaked the other day and Gaga says it's for a 'major recording artist'. There's a few changes I'd like to make to the Chillin article - I just wanted to run them by you in case you had objections. For one thing, I'll be adding back the properly sourced mixtape reference. I also realised that the YouTube video you took out had in fact been uploaded by an official and reliable source. The video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=px4YjdntXjE) was made for Microsoft product, Zune and was uploaded by them. It was also linked to on Wale's official MySpace page. As such I think it should be added back, but I'm willing to hear what you think as well. Also, I would think of AceShowBiz as a reliable source, so I'd like to add them as a source for the information regarding the song's sample of Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye. Tikkuy (talk) 14:37, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Of course I do. :P I don't really mind if the source isn't there, as long as the information remains so that people get a good overview of the video. Likewise, I think we should add the reference to Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye even if we can't find another web site to source it - the similiarities are pretty obvious. Tikkuy (talk) 14:49, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
I have reverted some of your changes on the Chillin page per this page. Please note that..."Facts cannot be copyrighted. It is legal to read an encyclopedia article or other work, reformulate the concepts in your own words, and submit it to Wikipedia, although the structure, presentation, and phrasing of the information should be your own original creation." As such, YouTube videos and other sources such as KarmaLoopTV may legally be used to source information. Thanks. Tikkuy (talk) 07:38, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
I disagree. You are doing absolutely nothing to add to the article. Since you have found it, all you have done is revert other people's edits and claimed some defiance of WIkipedia policy. You do not own these articles. They are for all people to contribute to. Instead of deleting other people's work continually, why don't you actually add something to the article for a change? Tikkuy (talk) 10:11, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
MySpace can be used as a source when it belongs to the person the article relates to. It is as good as an official website. Please stop your disruptive and counter-productive behaviour. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tikkuy (talkcontribs) 10:21, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Please read Wikipedia:MoS#Images. Nowhere in the article does it state that images can not be under header text, and it in fact says that "most pictures should be between 100 and 400 pixels wide". Please stop this unacceptable behaviour and do not make up rules. Tikkuy (talk) 10:44, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
I really do not care for your petty threats. You are a demanding, arrogant, argumentative and frankly rude person, and I should not have to tolerate it. Neither should other users. Tikkuy (talk) 12:26, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
That's nice for you. I have already explained to you several times why you moving the image is against Wikipedia policy, and yet you do not listen to reason. I am not as hesitant as other users that you terrorise are and I am quite willing to revert your edits until you begin to follow the rules which you promote to everyone else. Tikkuy (talk) 12:37, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
You are not making much sense. Your last comment was completely nonsensical. Tikkuy (talk) 12:44, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

"Who's That Girl"

To be completely honest, I don't know why you decided now to do the article, I was improving it little by little months ago, I never fully finish it because I didn't have the time, but well I don't own the article so you are fully able to edit the way you want it, I just think is a bit rude to do it in this way, considering how fast you developed the articles. Just look is almost finished, and sorry if Im mistaken but it looks that you only do this so you can have more and more GA, but like I said you are free to do whatever you want, I don't own it, and sorry if this is upseting to you its just the way I feel. Frcm1988 (talk) 00:16, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey hey, please donot get me wrong Frcm. It was never at all any intention of mine to hurt you at all. I only added the information I found because I thought that we could finish the article! Nobody owns any article here, but Im surprised that you felt that way. I was checking all the Madonna articles before starting the project and saw that Who's that girl was in a pretty good shape thanks to you. Hence I searched for some background info on it and thought of adding it to my sandbox (which I always prefer). If my intention would have been otherwise would I have asked you anything at all? Please my friend donot get me wrong. I really didnot understand that this would hurt you, or else I would not have worked on the article at all. IO hope you'll reply back. --Legolas (talk2me) 04:13, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh no please don 't get me wrong, this is nothing to do with you or the way you edit, it's just that I think that the way you approach it was a bit rude, I mean when I read your message in my talkpage and see your sandbox, imagine my surprise to see that the all the sections were finished or almost finished, I know that you work fast and that the time difference between us is from 10 to 12 hours, so when you told me to put my inputs in the article I thought I was going to do more than just copyedit it. And like I said before sorry if you feel I attacked you in any way, that was not my intention there's nothing personal here. Regards. Frcm1988 (talk) 16:45, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Ohh don't worry nothing personal here, I finally finished the semester today so I have i think a month free. Ohh and happy birthday!!! altought is a bit late, sorry I was very busy this week. I was wondering how are the Madonna's songs been evaluated in the wikiproject, I agree with most of them but for example "Into the Groove" is at low importance, this was Madonna's first number-one in the UK, and apparently the best-selling of her singles there, I think it was quite popular in Europe. "Crazy for You" was number-one in Australia and the U.S. and it was used in a film, so maybe it could be at mid-importance. "Express Yourself" is one of her best known singles, the video is very memorable, and the song is very popular in concerts. I think we should evaluate some of them and see if we can get a consensus. Regards Frcm1988 (talk) 18:10, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Untitled Madonna's Greatest Hits

It would be great if you could issue warnings when you are reverting unsourced changes/vandalism. Otherwise, it makes it difficult to issue blocks. Thanks for your help editing/patrolling. Plastikspork (talk) 05:42, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

The Fame

Hiya. I was just wondering why you'd reverted my change to The Fame when we'd already discussed the change on the article's talk page. It most certainly wasn't vandalism, as you said. Tikkuy (talk) 11:35, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Oh, and also, as for Chillin - the source for the information about the music video is the music video. No other source is needed. Tikkuy (talk) 11:39, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
Beautiful, Dirty, Rich is already mentioned in the promotion section. No need to mention it in the singles as it wasn't released as one. --Legolas (talk2me) 13:37, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
That's not vandalism, and just because you don't agree with one line of what I added does not give you the right to undo all of my changes. Also, if you go to Lady Gaga you will see that her name is written as Gaga there multiple times. Finally, please read Wikipedia:Reliable sources, especially the line..."The term "published" is most commonly associated with text materials. However, audio, video, and multimedia materials that have been recorded then broadcast, distributed, or archived by a reputable third-party may also meet the necessary criteria to be considered reliable source." There is no reason why YouTube cannot be used as a source. There is no source better when describing a video than the video itself. Tikkuy (talk) 14:54, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, you said on the talk page that you didn't mind either way. Also, please do try and make sure that when you revert a change you're not reverting things that are perfectly reasonable and which should be there. Only delete the things you have a problem with. Tikkuy (talk) 15:32, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey

I am good thanks. How are you doing? • вяαdcяochat 05:28, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Im fine too. Just kinda working like mad for the WP:MADGE project. --Legolas (talk2me) 05:59, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
That's awesome. Good luck with it. I'll try and keep an eye on the user whenever I can. Also, I will be inactive on Wikipedia for the next three days or so as I will be away from home. I will still be able to check messages though as web browsing is enabled on my cell phone. • вяαdcяochat 06:08, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Wow. Where r u going? By the way, recent activities have been tingling my sock senses that Dance-pop's back. Check the contributions for this user. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:11, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
I am going a little north of Sydney. By the way, that user is certainly Dance-pop. I remember as he brought up the issue regarding the "singer_songwriter" to be changed to musician or recording artist on his last account. Don't worry, he has been caught out already and will be blocked eventually. • вяαdcяochat 06:19, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
It just marvels me how foolish that user is regarding evading a block! Sigh! Again I'll wait for any signs of vandalism, then I'll report. Already vandalised The Fame article by adding discography tables. God knows when he'll learn. By the way, I got the JD, discography and PF article protected till September. And its bad that Gaga didnt go #1 this week in Oz.--Legolas (talk2me) 06:24, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
If the user was intelligent, they would highly change their ways to avoid a block. Obviously that is never the case. Gaga won't go number 1 this week either. The Black Eyed Peas have overtaken iTunes again. Sigh... • вяαdcяochat 06:29, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Sigh! That means Physical CD sales are not affecting that much. By the way see Gaga's newest achievement. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:31, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
The CD single was released to some retailers towards the end of last week so that is probably why it didn't move up a place. This week, all the remaining retailers would of got the CD single yesterday. I am hoping that it can somehow knock off the Peas but I am keeping my expectations rather modest. Good to see that Gaga is making history considering she has only had commercial sucess for about a year or so. • вяαdcяochat 06:36, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Are you looking forward to Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince? It is released on my birthday although I won't be able to see it as I will be away. As soon as I get back, I am going out to watch it. According to some sources, it is set to be one of the best yet. • вяαdcяochat 06:47, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
I am born on the 15th of July. One days difference from you, lol. It is released on the 15th in Australia. I am unsure of the dates elsewhere though. • вяαdcяochat 06:53, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

chillin (catch vs. 9th)

"Chillin (Catch vs 9th)" is not the same song as "Chillin", it is a remix. You deleted my earlier edit citing a lack of source, but the source currently posted proves nothing, its simply a link to Wale's website. I have the mixtape and have listened to it several times and I can assure you that the song that appears on the mixtape is not the same as the single.

Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ropo153 (talkcontribs) 18:41, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Hello!

this information for SAS I did myself. I only wanted to add there because I thought that information will be suitable for this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MattRus (talkcontribs) 23:09, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

I've been watching you...

The song was not released only in the U.S.A. For example it was released in Spain [1] and well..most of Europe [2]. Alecsdaniel (talk) 18:30, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Re:Happy Birthday

Thank you for the message. I am home a couple hours earlier than I expected. Happy birthday to you aswel for yesterday! • вяαdcяochat 05:27, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Oh wonderful. How did you celebrate? I watched Potter, then had a marvellous dinner and boozed till we were drunk. He he. --Legolas (talk2me) 05:29, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I went away for a little 2 night getaway for my birthday. Stayed in an awesome hotel on the top floor with amazing views overlooking the enitre city. I am going to watch Potter tommorow. I have heard from a lot of people how amazing it is. • вяαdcяochat 05:35, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
That sounds wonderful. You went with parents or friends? About Potter, this one is more of drama, romance and sadness and less about adventure. Im zipping up myself, not saying anymore. Lol! --Legolas (talk2me) 05:42, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I went with my parents. That was kinda like half their birthday present to me. I'm going to see Potter with my friends tommorow at the cinemas though. I am really looking forward to it. Apparently, it is one of the darkest films of the series? • вяαdcяochat 06:57, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Hey. I saw the new Harry Potter today. It was ok but it was sure not one of my favourites of the series. They didn't include a lot of content that was featured in the book which I was rather dissapointed with. • вяαdcяochat 06:47, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. On an individual note, I think it is good but in comparisson to the previous films, I have mixed feelings. The complexity of this film also differed greatly. Which has been your favourite of the series so far? • вяαdcяochat 07:03, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
My favourite would have to be the Goblet of Fire as it was practically filled with intensifying action throughout and the storyline focused primarily on the Triwizard Tournament which was an entire different concept. The characters really do expand in the Half-Blood Prince though. That is something that I would praise it for. • вяαdcяochat 07:12, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Lady Gaga reverts

I don't mean to sound rude, but you revert a good deal of edits I make to Lady Gaga and related pages, when I'm just doing my best to add good information. You act as if you own those articles, and I would appreciate it if you let myself and other editors have a chance to contribute. Thank you. Oh, and happy belated birthday. Septimus Heap

Hi, Legolas, I'm from Romania, so what you've said it's a little bit weird for me. What do you mean by that (I mean the image with the covers - they are updated on the Harper Collins website, the publisher.) By the way, are you a Septimus Heap fan? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shauki Alg (talkcontribs) 06:43, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Septimus Heap

Okay, but why my image is not rationale at all, and the first it is? I don't get it... It's the same image, with a cover changed. Shauk_Alg —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shauki Alg (talkcontribs) 06:53, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your message, but I don't need your permission to delete poorly written, unencyclopedic rubbish whether it is sourced or not. Paul75 (talk) 08:44, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Delete content once more, you will be reported. --Legolas (talk2me) 08:55, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
I am not disagreeing with the referencing - the sentence is poorly written, non-encyclopedic and frankly embarrassing in a Good Article Paul75 (talk) 09:10, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
If you read my edit properly, you would see that I did re-phrase the sentence. You just do not wish to see any changes to "your" article as you are clearly asserting some form of ownership over it. Paul75 (talk) 09:19, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes, originally deleted the entire sentence because I thought it was inappropriate - this is not vandalism or a crime. Again, if you read my edits properly you would see that on further edits after re-considering the lead I MODIFIED the sentence to improve the language, I did NOT delete or blank it at all. Paul75 (talk) 10:05, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah? C'monn

What are your sources that say that the song was released only in the U.S.A.? Alecsdaniel (talk) 10:06, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Really? I have read the paragraph about her first album and about "Everybody" and there wasn't a mentioning of the fact that the song was released worlwide or not. Just because the song didn't chart in other countries doesn't mean it wasn't released. Please give me the quote where it sais it was released just in the States. Kylie Minogue FAR review

Hi, I notice you've made a few recent edits to Kylie Minogue and I wondered if you are aware of the FAR at Wikipedia:Featured article review/Kylie Minogue/archive1. If so, I would welcome your opinion. Rossrs (talk) 13:43, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Re:Gaga GAN

From WP:GAN, "Articles can be nominated by anyone, and reviewed by any registered user who has not contributed significantly to the article." It does not matter who created the article or contributed to it the most. And I do not see any major edit war going on, and I have improved the structure since it failed. Also, articles that fail can be renominated at any time.

Also, my edits to The Fame were not vandalism. Charmed36 removed alternate cover artwork for no reason, and the singles section has better structure. As for no references, it contains information that is referenced in each article (hence the "Main article" templates in the section).

This is exactly what I meant when I confronted you earlier about your ownership of articles. I advise you stop as this is against Wikipedia policy. Anyone is allowed to make constructive edits to the project, not just you. Pokerdance (talk/contribs) 03:31, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

I am highly offended that you imply that I have not contributed to The Fame. If you look at the page history, you will see that I have recently contributed a fair amount, particularly the major copyedit to the biography which worked on improvements suggested after the article failed its GAN nomination.
Furthermore, the alternate Fame cover is as much of a copyright infringement as the original cover would be. I am frankly quite sick of how you choose to revert nearly every change I make on Gaga-related articles, and I will report if you continue to do so. Pokerdance (talk/contribs) 03:41, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

I'd like more info on what you mean. I'm not 'adding' any info or 'vandalising' (You've GOT to be kidding). The edit was that on some singles, if they got the same chart position more that once in a row, then there was a rowspan, however it was only on the early singles and only some of them anyway. So in what way am I vandalising? --The Rogue Leader

Hi, yes I finally got some time now, Im going to correct mostly the reference's format and a few misspellings and adding missing words, I will try to do a review of the article's body but won't promise anything, after all I am not a good copyeditor. Regards. Frcm1988 (talk) 04:43, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

I will continue tomorrow, it's 2am here, that way we also will not get edit conflicts so often. :) Happy editing. Frcm1988 (talk) 07:10, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Thank You for explaining. --The Rogue Leader

Look, Legolas, I have a good source. I've written you an email. Please reply to me. Ok? And stop thinking that your are the only creator of the Septimus Heap page. Shauki

Like the image with the books, you led people into confusion. And with the movie it’s the same. Jean McGinley confirmed that via email:

While the article says that the movie will be full animation it will actually be live action with animation, not full animation. Sorry for any confusion! Best regards, Jean McGinley Subsidiary Rights Manager HarperCollins Children’s Books

And Angie Sage:

Movie ... It will be live action. There was an article last week in the Hollywood Reporter that has got it wrong & this has led to some confusion... But it is not being animated. They probably got it wrong because Warners have just got an animation studio to begin work on Stanley the rat (some of the creatures will need animation of course), but the animation will be within a live action movie. But it is true about David Frankel. However, Bob Lieber will not (I think) be doing the screenplay as I was told they were looking for another writer. So I hope that clears it up. Angie —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shauki Alg (talkcontribs) 10:35, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

The IP is the same, even if I am logged in or not. Understand that? It's the same, boy! :) Check it. And why don't you want to reply to my email to talk about this? We are both fans of Septimus Heap, and I can prove it to you that I have sources. Only if you are going to reply to my email... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shauki Alg (talkcontribs) 10:43, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Please, don't be rude.

There is no need to be rude. I know they didn't chart together . And this is different to the previous topic we were talking about. My edit was putting "Borderline & "Lucky Star" the other way 'round because " "Borderline" was released as the 4th single while "Lucky Star" was released as the 5th. On the "Madonna singles discography" page they are in reverse order. So if you want to corect me, please go ahead and talk to me because I like to learn from my mistakes. However there is no reason to tell me to 'listen to reason'. I know I'm not what you could call 'high ranking', but I'm not stupid. Please reply and give me reasons why I am wrong. Yeah, lol. I must of been like that when I first signed up. I'll have to put the discography page on my watchlist so I can keep an eye. Also, I fixed up the grammar in the singles section on The Fame article. Hopefully, it makes it flow a little better. • вяαdcяochat 08:58, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Awesome. It's just a shame that the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is out towards the end of 2010. Bad news that Paparazzi is now #3 on Australian iTunes :( • вяαdcяochat 09:18, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
I have never heard of Septimus Heap before. It must be of good quality considering you say that a film will be released. I can not stand to wait for Harry Potter. The novel for the Deathly Hallows is so action packed and I hope the film will be to. • вяαdcяochat 10:42, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

I have looked again at the prose; it has definitely improved, and I have made a few further tweaks to the lead. I'm not sure I can do much more; apart from not having a lot of time at the moment, I simply don't know enough about pop music. To get to FA, I still think your best bet is to find an informed copyeditor able to give the necessary time to the article. Have you tried direct approaches to the writers of some of the featured pop music articles? Good luck with it anyway; your hard work deserves some encouragement and reward. Brianboulton (talk) 07:13, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Excuse me?

How was what I did malicious at ALL? I was moving the page from Greatest Hits Volume 3 (Madonna album) to Celebration (Madonna album), because the OFFICIAL title of the release is Celebration. What the hell is wrong with that? This site is absolutely ridiculous. BambooBanga (talk) 08:21, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Well, it's a little complicated when everything is redirecting towards each other. Celebration redirected to Greatest Hits Volume 3 already, so how else was I supposed to move GHV3's page to Celebration? I don't think it matters that you've "lost the history" for the article. Cry me a river... BambooBanga (talk) 12:26, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Re:Genre warrior

I don't think it's a controversial change. I have left a reason in both edit summaries, and if they choose to revert it, I will take it to the talk pages. Pokerdance (talk/contribs) 08:31, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Well, I have been working on Ready for the Weekend (song) formatting sources, reverting bad edits and generally expanding the article. I am waiting for more reliable sources though. There doesn't seem to be much out there that I can find on Google. Oh and I head back to school next week. The two week break went fast. I have to write an in-class essay the first week back :( • вяαdcяochat 08:12, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
It is very proper and in good shape. However I believe, much of the information is listed in the lead section. They can be separated into sections. And :( on the essay, never liked them much when I was in school. --Legolas (talk2me) 08:15, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. That is exactly what I thought, but then again I thought there might not be enough content to warrant a section for each particular subject. I will see what I can do though. I just listened to Celebration. I really like it. Hopefully I listened to the correct one. Is it kinda dance-pop/electropop because the one I listened to sounded like that? Do you think that it is the right one?
• вяαdcяochat 08:22, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
That is exactly the one. I believe another smash is coming up from her. God! That means another article on my watchlist! I'm gonna run awayyyyyyyyyyyyy. --Legolas (talk2me) 08:29, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
I'll be happy to work on it aswel if you like. • вяαdcяochat 08:34, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Okie dokie. Just watchlist the page and go throught the references once. Then you will know what is happening about the song. Yeahh, I just earned two more GAs just now. --Legolas (talk2me) 08:36, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Congrats with the good articles! Wow, correct me if i'm wrong but the music video for Cellebration was directed by the same person who did Paparazzi for Lady Gaga. • вяαdcяochat 09:12, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi Legolas2186, contrary to your recent edit summary, there is not an exception to citation requirements for content in lead sections. Have a look at Wikipedia:Lead section#Citations, which hopefully should explain the situation. PhilKnight (talk) 15:53, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Sleaze

The article Sleaze has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnecessary redirect

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Explicit -_- and good faith

I am getting really irritated because my uploads are being marked for speedy deletion when their use complies with wikipedia's regulations and rules. Please go to the She Ain't Got... page to see what I mean

SHE AIN'T GOT - SCREENSHOT

This is so unfair! I don't understand why you are taking the image down! There are thousands of pages on singles that have screenshots to illustrate the music video! Why are you picking on me? You are not trying to help make wikipedia better at all! You are just putting people off it completely! The page clearly states "PLEASE HELP IMPROVE THIS ARTICLE BY EXPANDING IT" and that's exactly what I have been doing but people like you and Explicit are trying to throw this and that at me as if I am wrong when I am not. What is your problem? Do you not have a life? Or eyes - to see the countless other pages on singles that have screenshots? Maybe I should stop insulting you! Maybe then this bullying will stop.

OMG! Why don't you just leave me alone!

You are really horrible! I don't understand why you are making such a fuss about the one image! I was EXPANDING the page - as the template requested - and doing it within Wikipedia's regulations and rules whether YOUR PERSONAL OPINION thinks so or not.

Move on.

I don't care anymore. You have got what you wanted. Have a nice day. I hope you are happy now. Oh by the way, I have removed the EXPANSION template from the She Ain't Got... page as obviously the page is complete as it can be without a chart history (which I will be sure to create once the single charts). There obviously isn't anything more that can be done to that page - oh except add screenshots for the music video (but that isn't allowed is it? - oh but it it is on these pages: [[Halo_(Beyonc%C3%A9_Knowles_song), Ego_(Beyoncé_Knowles_song), Sweet Dreams (Beyoncé Knowles song)). So what's so special about those pages that allows them to have screenshots? They don't add anything more or anything less to the pages than what my sreenshot added to the She Ain't Got... page. If you feel the need to delete that screenshot then shouldn't you delete all the others that are up illustrating music videos? Oh but there's one little problem...I didn't post the others, so deleting them is of no interest to you =)

New

I felt a new section was for the best. Yeah, I kinda felt bad for him when he was telling me he was dealing with personal stuff. But, its good that he's taking some time off Wikipedia and trying to deal with it. Yeah, if I talk to him I'll let him know you say 'Hi!'. :) I'll do a copy-edit for "Get Together" and let you know. Yeah, let me know when you're done with "Jump" so I can do the same. Hey, will you be working on the album in your sandbox? If so, I think I might have some helpful links, regarding the development of the album. Unless, you have that covered? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:09, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I'm done with the copy-edit. One thing, though. The cover needs a lower resolution. Overall, the article is good and go ahead and nominate it. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:24, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
I will do a copy-edit. Oh, okay. I wasn't sure if you we're working on it, but I kinda knew you were, but just wanted to make sure. :) Do you want me to look up reviews? Or do you have that handled? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 14:35, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Alright, just needed to know. Due to the fact that magazines are supposed to be italicized, I just follow the guidelines. Same thing with the chart, though, when I clicked on it it was italicized, so I figured it had to be italicized. Sorry about that. See, I'm no music expert. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 17:01, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey no problem at all. Go to the WP:MADGE wikiproject and there you'll see the list of users who have joined the project. Put your name below the last user in the same format that they have used. Then go down and take the Madonna member Userbox and paste it in your user page. I suppose I may consider doing so. I can sure format sources, correct grammar but in regards to other areas I am not sure. Since most of the time, i'm either editing album pages or singles, my skills on biography work may lack a little. • вяαdcяochat 09:46, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Re:Celebration

Thanks for the link. I actually purchased the song on the iTunes Store earlier today and I am very pleased. • вяαdcяochat 10:21, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, it is a pretty cool tune. Luckily, I came across this source otherwise I wouldn't of even known that it had been released already. • вяαdcяochat 10:30, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. It should be a good article to work on. I predict there will be a heap of media coverage over the next few days which may assist us in building the article. I can't wait for the video either! I hope it is amazing just like Paparazzi.
I have also heard Revolver however, it was the demo version with someone elses vocals. Good news that Celebration is at #27 on iTunes Canada, #93 on iTunes Australia but is still yet to reach the top 100 on iTunes US. • вяαdcяochat 02:31, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
I just checked the Australian iTunes then. It is now at #41 yay! Oh and by the way, if you have iTunes installed on your computer you can still have acess to the iTunes Store without an account and view the top 100 songs in each country. Also, you can check this link. It is a webpage that displays all the iTunes top ten songs worldwide although it is a bit behind the live server time so some songs that are shown on the actual iTunes program won't appear because of the constant change and delay of time. • вяαdcяochat 05:55, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it seems to be falling which is no good. I think by next month, Gaga will have to release another single for at least Oceania. The novelty seems to be decreasing in the United Kingdom aswel. • вяαdcяochat 06:11, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
In Australia, it is The Black Eyed Peas fault lol. If it weren't for them, Paparazzi would of probably gone to #1. It was held at #2 for such a long time. I hope she releases Starstruck as the next single. I see much chart potential from that song. • вяαdcяochat 06:19, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
I will do so. Red & Blue should not be listed anyway as it was not recorded under the stage name, Lady Gaga. • вяαdcяochat 06:25, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Celebration is at #35 and Paparazzi is at #8. • вяαdcяochat 06:26, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Sweet. I predict it is going to be another hit for her. Has this weeks Canadian Hot 100 been issued already? I had no idea. I better check. • вяαdcяochat 11:15, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
I know. The Americans don't seem to be very open musically. I think it is kinda getting like that here a little aswel. • вяαdcяochat 11:23, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Opinion/mediation

Dear editor please can you add your opinion to the following discussion to help reach a consensus. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 16:01, 2 August 2009 (UTC))

Poker Face - key

Hi Legolas2186, I see that you have reverted my edits describing the key of Poker Face, probably because I deleted the source which states the piece is in A minor. I deleted the source because it provides a transcription for piano in an easier key to play in, yet close enough such that most cannot tell it is not the original key. I have re-edited the article while keeping the source. I'll leave it to you to decide whether the source should go, but just note that the key of the music of Poker Face from that source is incorrect.

Thanks, Andy

Mitä hittiä and Finnish singles chart

Mitä hittiä is still not the Finnish singles chart. If you go to the official Finnish chart site, you will see no mention of Mitä hittiä there. The article about Mitä hittiä also tells that it is not the Finnish singles chart. The Finnish chart is called Suomen virallinen lista, not Mitä hittiä. YuckieDuck (talk) 09:47, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

4 Minutes

Hey there! I will read the article now and suggest what can be improved. • вяαdcяochat 08:29, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

To be honest with you, there is not a fair amount that can be improved. The article is rather well written. Regarding the "Live performance" section, instead of using "In the Hard Candy Promo Tour, "4 Minutes" was performed as the third song of the setlist", I suggest to change the word "In" to either "On" or "At". That way the sentence makes better sense and has better flow. Also, instead of using "The performance had video screens displaying Timbaland and Timberlake" change the world "had" to perhaps "showcased" making the sentence sound a little more formal. I will continue to study the article a little more to see if I can find any way to improve it. • вяαdcяochat 09:29, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Bedtime Stories

Excuse me, why did you removed the international cover section from the "Bedtime Stories (Madonna album)? It was very relevant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ElPilotoDi (talkcontribs) 21:36, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
