Hi Woodroar (talk) 20:13, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Woodroar! I have not understood why the changes have been deemed not to contribute positively to the article The Epic of Gilgamesh. Please describe precisely the issues. Thanks! Lemnoceba (talk) 20:12, 30 January 2022 (UTC)LemnocebaReply

The lead section is a summary of the rest of the article, essentially what's most important about the Epic of Gilgamesh. We don't cite Larivière and Foucart elsewhere in the article, so it's not appropriate to mention them in the lead. Furthermore, neither Larivière nor Foucart are recognized experts on the Epic of Gilgamesh, so we probably shouldn't mention them anywhere, really. The article could probably use a "Themes" section, but we would still give the most editorial weight to viewpoints from recognized experts.
I suggest reading through the links on the Welcome message below to better understand our policies and guidelines. If you have any questions, feel free to ask or visit the Teahouse, which is a place for new editors. Cheers! Woodroar (talk) 20:52, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi Woodroar, Thanks for your message. All understood. Will add later the main topics of the myth and the different interpretations in a section within the article. Thanks!
