Russian translations
editThank you for translations, but please have in mind that we have a much higher sourcing standard than the Russian Wikipedia. It is actually full of garbage, and indiscrimate translation would result in all garbage moving in here. Please do not insert material which you have not verified yourself. Thank you for understanding.--Ymblanter (talk) 15:55, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
- I am not sure you have understood my message. Would you please stop and read WP:RS and WP:V, because if you continue like this I am going to block your account.--Ymblanter (talk) 21:07, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

editHey there and thanks for expanding Þönglabakki a little bit (as you could see, the article was completely incorrect before). Just writing this note to encourage you to remember to not leave old citations hanging around text when you've changed it, that leaves the impression that the text is sourced when it actually isn't. The essay WP:HIJACK explains it well. Anyways, thanks for contributing! :) – Þjarkur (talk) 00:30, 24 March 2019 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Fragrant Peony. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Recognition of same-sex unions in Andorra, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Fragrant Peony (talk) 09:33, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
- Hello Fragrant Peony.
- I am greatful for your assistence. May I ask you for an advice then?
- The edit was based on the citation given at the end of the sentence. The Website used to verify the content of the sentence before I edited it changed the dates. I thought this would be valid as a citation. Is it necessary to look for anouther source in such cases or is the original source enough?
- Thank you in advance,
- Leobadboy Leobadboy (talk) 10:29, 8 April 2022 (UTC)

editHello, as mentioned in my edit-summary, nld is ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 country code as well as ISO 639-3 language code for the Netherlands resp. the Dutch language, and as such is to be used when these are to be mentioned like in the Rhode Isalnd article. I will revert again, and follwing the WP:BRD cycle, you should bring your intended changes up on article-talk. Regards. Lectonar (talk) 09:26, 12 June 2023 (UTC)

editHello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Kj cheetham (talk) 18:40, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
