This is a paid editor
editJust wanted to leave this here for the record. I have some experience recognizing editors doing Wikipedia editing for pay, and this is definitely one of those. Fred Zepelin (talk) 01:10, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
- What? No, definitely not, I'm just doing what I think I can to make articles better. I'm not paid by anyone. Do your research. Leomarvey (talk) 02:01, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
- What I detest most is being accused of what I'm clearly not, don't do that! Leomarvey (talk) 07:59, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- I just reviewed the draft at Draft:Kavitha Bhatia; that was a hot mess of promotional material, press releases and gushing puffery. Just to be clear - you are claiming that you are not declaring any WP:COI or WP:PAID relationship with that article? Sam Kuru (talk) 14:55, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- Actually, after looking at other open and deleted articles, you've used fake/backhat SEO sources to create obvious PR/spam articles across a veriety of obscure non-notable topics and biographies. This is clearly a UDPE account and has been blocked as violation of our terms of service. Sam Kuru (talk) 15:02, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- Also, please elaborate more on this. Leomarvey (talk) 15:59, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- What do you mean it was a hot mess of promotional material? Can you point out the parts that are promotional? Don't air me Leomarvey (talk) 15:57, 13 May 2023 (UTC)

is closed. User must read and heed WP:COI and WP:PAID. I find the use of fake references reprehensible. There is no way anyone could honestly say they thought that was an acceptable practice. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 15:31, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
- I would oppose unblocking. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 15:33, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
- Don't get me wrong, I am not paid by anyone and I didn't know they were fake references. I didn't even know what fake references meant, but now, I think I do. Leomarvey (talk) 15:41, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
- In case there was any doubt, check the differences between these two versions. It's essentially the same content added by Leomarvey recently and the blocked sockpuppet Smartthathay back in November. Some of the sections were swapped, some text was moved around, some synonyms are subbed in, but they slipped up in the Philanthropy section, where "with upwards of 40,000 killed, Senator Carraro headed up a disaster trauma relief team assembled from the United States that arrived with medical doctors and supplies assessing the damage and helping those who were displaced; bringing water purification units and sleeping tents and cots and toilet facilities" is word-for-word. This probably goes back even farther to the User:Ugochukwu75 account but who knows at this point. Fred Zepelin (talk) 18:18, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
- But I really don't have anything to do with any of these above listed accounts. Sincerely. Leomarvey (talk) 18:45, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
