Speedy deletion criteria

First of all you being the only editor has nothing to do with the deletion. If you look at Wikipedia:Notability (music) it would appear that they do not meet the criteria laid out there. If you think they do then you have one of two options. First rewrite the material on your own computer and include why they are notable and then post it or goto Wikipedia:Deletion review. The article was not deleted as an attack on you or the band themselves. The problem is that many articles get started and don't have enough material in them to indicate why they are notable. Now, the other editor, comes along and sees it. Is the original editor going to follow up and finish the article or have they quit. Even worse, without proving the notability how does anyone know if the article is real or just a hoax? CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 16:20, 15 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
