Thanks a lot for the recent translation! :), google translate didn't get anywhere near your edit, the translations I think on there are word for word, so the phrasing order is muddled as a result. I've translated the bits using google that are understandable and rephrased them, but like you say we do need a native speaker for FA status, although the Estonian Wiki version is Good Article status. I'll add a few more bits to bring it up to that afters and then will add the Wiki page links and citations afterwards taking those from the Estonian version.

Speedy deletion nomination of Sergei Lepmets

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sergei Lepmets, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 22:02, 26 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Copy-paste move of a page

edit

Hello, Lipik. The article Stanislav Pedõk, which you created, was so similar to a previous version of the article, which was userfied at User:Pelmeen10/Stanislav Pedõk, that it seems it was a copy-paste of that page, with updates. Copy-pasting like this is not acceptable, because it destroys the editing history, which must be kept for copyright attribution. The correct thing to do is to move the page, not copy its contents. I have moved the page and merged the history with your new version of the article, but I thought it best to drop you a note about it so you can know for the future. When there are good reasons for copy-pasting content of a page, it is essential to note the fact for attribution purposes. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:14, 12 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
