editHello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Ty Franck, from its old location at User:Lizzytomtom/Ty Franck (author). This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Nathan2055talk - contribs 19:06, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

editI don't want to discourage you, but this edit [1] is just plain wrong. Only American English uses '-ll-' here, and WP:ENGVAR applies.
National varieties of English
editHello. In a recent edit to the page Saskatchewan, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Nikkimaria (talk) 02:50, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
But welcome!

July 2021
editHello Lizzytomtom. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Christopher Hopper, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Lizzytomtom. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Lizzytomtom|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Blablubbs (talk) 16:23, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Blablubbs. I do not have any connection to the person I've created the article for, nor am I being compensated, but thank you for being cautious. I'm attempting to create articles for authors I enjoy who don't have entries yet on Wikipedia, and Mr. Hopper's article is my second attempt. I've been trying to follow the basic format and notability guides for other well-known authors as models, learning as I go. Since this writer has apparently not met Wikipedia's notability requirements, I'll look for new people and subjects to keep honing my skills as I grow. Sincerely, Lizzytomtom (talk) 20:29, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for your response, Lizzytomtom. Do you have any other connection to Hopper? --Blablubbs (talk) 17:57, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Blablubbs. As stated above: "I do not have any connection to the person…" I purchase and read his books. Thanks. Lizzytomtom (talk) 01:47, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for your response, Lizzytomtom. Do you have any other connection to Hopper? --Blablubbs (talk) 17:57, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
