Discussion on Deletion
editThanks for your concern over this article. However, in order to make the article more credible I'm struggling to find sources that meet your criteria simply because this is such an emerging new media that many "credible" publications have not yet written about.
There has been an article written in Canadian Marketing Magazine which excerpts can be found here
Also, currently there is a wikipedia page for "Advertising Agencies", which list large agencies by billings, and a list of advertising agencies by first founded. In creating links for social media agencies I was simply trying to use the same format to give examples of newly created social media agencies. Please let me know why this is treated differently in this case.

Speedy deletion of Ignite Social Media
editA tag has been placed on Ignite Social Media requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- Sander Säde 09:05, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia policy on reliable sources. Blogs are especially mentioned as not reliable sources. Page http://www.gold-group.com/Social does not exist.
Also, please stop adding links to agencies to the page. Wikipedia is not a link directory - and Wikipedia is not a soapbox for advertising.
As of now, there are no sources whatsoever about Social media agency. And I fail to see the notability of that term, it is used by some blog posts - in blogs that seem to be advertising said agencies. If you want, we can have deletion discussion of the article.
No content in Category:Social Media agencies
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Social Media agencies, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Social Media agencies has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Social Media agencies, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
