License tagging for Image:34C.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:34C.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:04, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
Knock it off
editStop using Wikipedia articles to advertise yourself. Handface 05:55, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
No personal advertiising, please
editYou have persistently edited the Brassiere page to publicise yourself and your website. That is not an appropriate use of Wikipedia - please stop it now. --Stephen Burnett 09:35, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
I have to point out the wording in Wikipedia:Spam, which is very clear:
"Wikipedia is not a space for personal promotion or the promotion of products, services, Web sites, fandoms, ideologies, or other memes. If you're here to tell readers how great something is, or to get exposure for an idea or product that nobody's heard of yet, you're in the wrong place."
It is quite evident that your user exists solely for the purpose of self-publicity. I am asking you once again to stop. If you don't, I will bring the situation to the notice of an admin and request that your account is blocked. --Stephen Burnett 11:08, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

editOrphaned fair use image (Image:Lsc.gif)
editThis file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Lsc.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Abu Badali 15:26, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

editPictures
editHi Lorie. Here is my recommendation: release a few of your posed pictures under a compatible free license, like the GFDL or CC-BY-SA, both of which will allow you to put a discrete attribution line and link to your website on their image description page. It is an easy way to get attention for yourself and your site without running afoul of our policies. The pictures are not bad for illustrating certain things but if they are not freely released then they are going to be replaced by one of the other free photos we have on Wikipedia that can accomplish the same task. Lots of links to your own webpage are going to be interpretted as spam. If you do things a little more low-key I think you'll end up in situation that can work for Wikipedia and also work for youself. Just my two cents. --Fastfission 17:10, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism
editPlease refrain from removing content from Wikipedia, as you did to Brassiere. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Stephen Burnett 14:30, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Advertising - again
editThis is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did in Brassiere, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
Wikipedia:External_Links#Links_normally_to_be_avoided
Quote from section 1.3: Links normally to be avoided .......
3. A website that you own or maintain, even if the guidelines above imply that it should be linked to. This is because of neutrality and point-of-view concerns; neutrality is an important objective at Wikipedia, and a difficult one. If it is relevant and informative, mention it on the talk page and let other — neutral — Wikipedia editors decide whether to add the link.
4. Links that are added to promote a site, that primarily exist to sell products or services, with objectionable amounts of advertising, or that that require payment to view the relevant content. See External link spamming.
Which part of the guidelines do you not understand? From where I'm sitting it's crystal clear. DO NOT LINK TO YOUR OWN WEBSITE.
Vandalism - again
editPlease stop. If you continue to blank or remove content from Wikipedia, as you did to Brassiere, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
In the process of reverting the above page to promote yourself and your website, you are also removing content. Please don't.

Unspecified source for Image:Bustier.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Bustier.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey 09:47, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- I followed the link http://www.LoriePoses.com but the image was not there i.e. it has no source. Please add the source page where the image is, thanks, feydey 10:24, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- Please read Wikipedia:Image_use_policy and especially Wikipedia:Image_use_policy#User-created images, Free licenses, and Public domain. All images uploaded to WP must have credible sources. P.S. Sign your comments by adding four tildes (~~~~). Thanks, feydey 10:43, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Negligee.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Negligee.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MBisanz talk 04:55, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Fs121m.jpg
editA tag has been placed on File:Fs121m.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of User:Lorieposes
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Lorieposes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion".
