editHello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Air Spray, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 22:16, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
- I am the owner of Air Spray. I don’t have a citation as the information is not published in the media. Please advise. 170.203.221.158 (talk) 02:48, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- We don't accept original research as it cannot be verified. See also WP:COI. I did mange to update the fleet information at Canadair CL-215 based on current Transport Canada aircraft registration records. - Ahunt (talk) 12:37, 9 April 2023 (UTC)

. 331dot (talk) 22:57, 29 November 2023 (UTC)- Sorry. I was not aware. I am just trying to prevent my company from losing its operating license due to incorrect information on the page. Lynn.hamilton (talk) 23:00, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
I have removed the improper posting from the article about your company. However, legal threats are not permitted on Wikipedia, so I must block you for this threat. If you had just made a polite grievance about libelous content on the article about your company, either here as you did, or via the instructions at WP:LIBEL, it would have been dealt with. You can pursue grievances using the courts of your country or on Wikipedia using Wikipedia processes, but not both at the same time. We cannot stop you from pursuing legal action according to the laws of your country, but you cannot make legal threats on Wikipedia nor can you edit if you have a legal action underway. We are willing to help you if you want to work with us.
I also do not see where you have made the Terms of Use required paid editing disclosure, see WP:PAID. 331dot (talk) 23:06, 29 November 2023 (UTC) I have not only removed the edit from the article, I have concealed it from the article edit history. 331dot (talk)
- Thanks for doing that. It was my Dad's company and I am not paid so I'm not sure whether I need to make any disclosure. He has passed away now so I am very protective of his legacy. I don't think I need to make any edits so I am OK being blocked. Thanks for your help! Lynn.hamilton (talk) 23:12, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- In the future, you may use the email address described on the WP:LIBEL page to report any libelous content that appears in the article(you don't need to be unblocked to do that).
- Being the owner of a company is a grey area in terms of the paid editing disclosure, because as the owner there is no one above you paying you, but an owner certainly has a financial interest in their company. If you decide to be unblocked, you should at least make the conflict of interest disclosure, as you identify yourself as the owner, that would suffice. 331dot (talk) 23:20, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
